House nods glad that Wilson is so understanding and caring. He leans into the kiss then turns his head to steal a kiss on the lips. "Thank you James. I'm afraid that I'd miss you if you went home without me." Running a hand through Wilson's thick hair. Jimmy was a wonderful person, better than House felt that he deserves. Going back to his meal Greg quickly finishes his food. He leaves the oncologist to clean up with a kiss to his nose.

The diagnostician moves back across the room to stand by his kid's bed. "Alright Jessie, do you mind if I sit beside you on the bed?" He sits lightly on the edge then lays down on his side by his daughter. There was plenty of room on the bed if house laid sideways and threw an arm around the mound of pillows. He pulled the blanket up over his daughter's frail form. He wanted to tell the little girl that he loved her, but he didn't want to cheapen it. Instead House pressed a kiss to her forehead.

CavyGirl 07-29-2011 04:37 AM

Wilson kisses him back and gets to work on cleaning up everything. Well, that was after he starts to eat his meal finally. He had been to distracted by his wonderful boyfriend and his daughter speed eating in the bed next door. He happily eats his dinner and sips his drink down slowly. Enjoying it fully glad House got his favorite foods. He moves and gets up and starts to clean up their messes. Trying hard not to scare the little girl again.

Jessie pulls her eyes away from the screen and watches him. No longer having fear in her eye. Nodding she watches him lay down next to her. Which does make her tense up for a few seconds. Relaxing once more she shifts a bit and curls up against him. Looking even smaller curled against his much larger being.

artbabe33445 07-29-2011 05:11 AM

House pulls his daughter close as she curls towards his heat. He runs this long fingers through her loose black hair. It is still slightly greasy, but easily fixed by a bath. He thought about asking a nurse to bathe the girl, but she seemed to have a problem with women. She was so relaxed against his chest, it felt so good to have her safe and warm in his arms. The diagnostician smiled down at the beautiful blue eyes watching him. "So missy, since your having trouble speaking. I can teach you how to sign if you'd like."

He placed the thumb of his open hand against his forehead. "This means, papa or dad and this is how we do your name." He slowly went through each of the letters in her name, watching her take in the information. "J-E-S-S-I-E, Jessie." A huge smile split his face when she mirrored his actions. Then pointed to him and did the sign for father. "You are one smart little girl, sweetheart." Kissing her head he rubbed her back soothingly.

"Do you want to learn a few more?" A quick nod. "Alright. This is to say your hungry and this says your thirsty. You can use them at any time to tell me if your hungry or need something alright. I will always get you what ever you need." After the incident at dinner he wanted the little girl to fill comfortable asking him for things. She practiced the signs again. "I'll teach you one more then you need your rest alright? This is the one that means...I love you." He folded his two middle fingers down to make the sign, then signed as he spoke. "Jessie, I love you."

CavyGirl 07-29-2011 08:39 PM

((esp since I cannot figure out what to post for her x.x *falls over* That is why I didn't answer last night before bed.))

Jessie watches him intently with sleepy blue eyes as he signs that he loved her and spoke it at the same time. Shifting a bit she yawns softly. Smiling faintly she mimics the signs back to him of 'I love you dad.' Before finally falling asleep against him. Lucky for House she was a fast learner as long as he shows, talks and lets her mimic it back to him. It made it easier on the little girl.

Wilson smiles watching the pair as his boyfriend teaches her how to sign to him. He pauses and looks at the TV seeing a special weather statement interrupt the cartoons on the TV. A sever thunderstorm warning was infect for the tri-state area and a tornado watch box was over the Middlesex County area. He shakes his head sadly, "Well, good thing I am staying right? Stupid weather mood swings."

artbabe33445 07-29-2011 11:28 PM

House bundles the girl tightly to his chest and rubs her back soothingly as she slips into sleep. His heart leapt in his chest as Jessie signed back to him. Smiling he presses another kiss to her forehead. After a few moments he notices the tornado warning and changes the channel to hear the report on the weather. House watches with a glare, glad that his boyfriend had stayed the night. He slowly leaves the bed replacing his body with a warm pillow. He pulls the blanket tight around her.

The diagnostician makes his way back over to Wilson. Pulling the other man into his arms he presses a kiss into the side of the oncologist's neck. "I'm glad you stayed" He presses his head into Wilson's shoulder enjoying the warm homely sent of his companion. "Thank you for everything."

CavyGirl 07-29-2011 11:41 PM

Wilson nods and wraps his arms around House pulling him close to him. Curling close to his boyfriend. "I am glad I stay too. That dosn't sound to good." As if on cue there is a very bright flash of lighting outside the hospital and a loud rumble of thunder that rattles the window of the room. "Hm, guess the storm is here." He kisses his cheek and looks out the window and back at House. He smiles and yawns softly, "You are welcome."

JUessie blinks and was woken up by the storm. Shifting she sits up and looks at the window. Not looking all that thrilled. That and the TV making that annoying warning beeping sound as the weather warning scroll across the bottom of the screen over and over again.

artbabe33445 07-29-2011 11:53 PM

House spots his daughter has woken up from the loud rumble in the sky. He leaves the warmth of Wilson's arms and heads over to the bed. "It's alright Jessie, just a storm." He turns off the television and goes back to lay beside her. Gently tucking her next to him, the doctor rubs her back soothingly. The lighting flashed outside, followed by a roar of thunder. House glares at the weather outside for disturbing his child's sleep. "Do you want me to stay with you until the storm passes?"

CavyGirl 07-30-2011 12:17 AM

Wilson dosn't mind and goes to lay on the other bed. Just glad the two were getting along better now. She needed to bond with House first and foremost. "Who knew bad storms were forming." He lays his head on his pillow and yawns again softly. Hearing the rain starting on the window pounding away on it.

Jessie nods quietly and recurls against him. Burying away against the loud weather. Not enjoying it one bit. Though she did relax a bit against his soothing touch.

artbabe33445 07-30-2011 12:38 AM

House smiles across the room over his daughter's head at Wilson. He arranges the both of them comfortably on the bed stretching out his long legs and trying to get the kinks out of his sore leg. The cramp slowly gets worse forcing him to extract himself from the bed. "Sorry sweetheart, I'll be right back." He limps heavily to the bathroom shooting Wilson a look. The pain shoots up into his side. The doctor nearly stumbles when he reaches the door to the bathroom. He pulls himself in and finally sits on the toilet rubbing his leg trying to to stop the cramp.

CavyGirl 07-30-2011 12:48 AM

Wilson gets up and heads off after House into the bathroom. Seeing him limping so badly made him upset. "House you ok? Well, I know you aren't but." He moves and sits down next to House. Wrapping arms around him wishing the pain would go away. Outside thunder rumbles again and the power flickers on and off for a few seconds coming back on. He kisses his cheek and sighs, "Do you have your pain meds handy?"

artbabe33445 07-30-2011 01:03 AM

House leans into the arms of his boyfriend taking comfort from the solid form. He leans his head against Wilson's shoulder drawing a ragged breath do to the pain. His fingers dig into the spasming muscle. The pain races up and down his leg, far past the point were it would be manageable with Tylenol. "No, just the Tylenol." He takes two anyways, his only option for the pain. Dammit! He silences his moans of pain in Wilson's shirt pulling the other close so his daughter can't hear in the next room.

CavyGirl 07-30-2011 01:10 AM

Wilson frowns and hugs House as close as he could to his form. He moves and kisses the top of House's head. Talking to him soothingly trying his best to be some form of comfort to House as he goes threw the pain. "I am sorry that is all you are allowed." He was sorry that House couldn't take anything stronger but it did lead to seeing his dead girlfriend Amber of all people. Outside lighting flashes again brightly and there is a loud bang, sizzle and the power zaps off totally. Hail, rain and wind pound the hospital.

artbabe33445 07-30-2011 01:43 AM

"Shit!" House jumps when the lights go off. His leg pain forgotten the doctor moves to get up leaning on his boyfriend. "I need to get back to Jessie. I don't want her to get frightened." He makes his way slowly back to the main room the lack of lights turning the room pitch black. He pulls out his cell phone using the limited light to find his way back to his daughter's bed. He shines the light on his face so that she can see it was him and not another dark figure.

"It's alright sweetheart, I'm here." He pulls himself back to into the bed and pulls her to his chest trying to keep her calm. "You're safe, I got you."

CavyGirl 07-30-2011 01:59 AM

Wilson wraps an arm around House quickly to support him. He wonders if House jumping up was a GOOD idea with his leg being in a cramp like that. He walks carefully next to House keeping pace with his boyfriend so he dosn't fall of anything. Making sure he reached his daughters bed safely before letting him go. Not before he offers him a kiss on the cheek. Heading back to his bed in the pitch black. Having some help when the lighting flashes again.

Jessie was shaking very hard against him the minute he got back into the bed. Letting off little whimpering sound as tears roll down her cheeks. She cringes hard against all the noise. Wind howling, hail and rain still pounding on the window as thunder rumbles.

artbabe33445 07-30-2011 02:15 AM

House ignores the pain still flaring in his leg and concentrates on the shaking child in his arms. He takes a long fingered hand and rubs it up and down her back careful of her bruises. "It's alright, Jessie. I've got you." He tucks her closer to his chest trying to give her comfort. Tears begin to soak the front of his shirt. House lifts her head a little bit, wiping her eyes. The doctor tries to think of something to say that will comfort the child in his arms. He can only think of the old saying that all mothers use to lie to their kids. "You know what your grandma used to tell me when I was scared by storms? She used to tell me that the thunder and lightening are just the angels playing in heaven. It can't hurt you. I won't let it." He kisses her head and pulls the blankets over the both of them.

CavyGirl 07-30-2011 02:43 AM

Jessie tries hard to relax against him. Looking up at him with wide, blue eyes that hold fear in them. She tries hard to believe him. Curling as close as she could as she lays her head against his chest. Trying hard to focus on his voice and not the storm. She was relaxed a bit more now but not much. She shifts down a bit to cover herself fully with the blanket.

Wilson watches out the window, "Shit its windy out there."

artbabe33445 07-30-2011 02:55 AM

"Yes, it is." House agrees looking down at his daughter. He caught brief glances of her when the lightening flashes again. He can feel he burrow down into the blankets. He almost laughs lightly at her antics, but he keeps it to himself not wanting to make her feel bad. The doctor pulls the bundle of Jessie and blanket closer. He starts to hum a simple lullaby hoping that will calm her down.

CavyGirl 07-30-2011 03:49 AM

Jessie drifts off to sleep against him. She still shakes on and off against him but at least was getting the rest she needed. Wilson gets up and makes his way over. Sitting down on a chair. "Glad she is getting along better with you now." He looks up and at the window again tilting his head to the sde. "Eh...DIFFENTLY getting worse."

artbabe33445 07-30-2011 11:58 PM

House sighs and makes sure Jessie is comfortable even through the lightening and thunder rumbling in the sky. The rain hits the windows with a loud noise. It runs down the windows in sheets; making them look like they were made of water. House finds the sound soothing in its own way. He watches Wilson make his way over and sit next to the bed. He turns just enough so that he can look at the other doctor's face.

"Me too. She'll warm up to you soon though. Everybody loves Dr. Wilson." Even though he's sure that Wilson can't see him in the pitch blackness House still gives him a smirk. He can feel the little girl in his arms shake every now and then. It worries him. Hearing Wilson the diagnostician looks up at the window. The rain was coming down much harder. "We probably won't have lights until morning. How are you feeling? I'll need to check you in the morning..."

CavyGirl 07-31-2011 12:21 AM

Wilson laughs and has his gaze drift back to House, "I cannot see the smirk on your face but I can tell its there. Yes, she will. I am not upset. I know she has been threw a lot and its more important she bonds to YOU first since you are the dad. Also, it will show the judges how good of a dad you can be." He points out and stretches a bit in the chair shaking his head.

He looks out the window once more, "Yea, I have a feeling you are right. Glad I stayed. Would have been hell trying to drive home in that mess." He shakes his head and looks back at House. "Still headachy but not to bad. What are you gonna do? Nothing can be done. Least she didn't SHOOT me just hit me."

Jessi stays the same close to her father. Staying as close as she could to him without sinking into his skin and flesh. Keeping the blanket around them as well. Shaking hard on and off wishing the storm would stop. Trying hard to stay asleep.

Some time during the night the tornado hits and leaves a path of destruction behind in its wake. Not truly hitting the hospital per say but moving past the building. Of course the people in the room slept threw it.

Jessi wakes up around 6 AM looking around the still quite room. Still no power in the hospital. She pokes her daddy lightly wanting him to wake up. She was hungry and thirsty.

Wilson was snoring in the chair next to the bed. Not having it made it back to bed at any point. Leaning back with his mouth hanging open.

artbabe33445 08-02-2011 01:51 AM

House felt something poking his stomach. "Wilson, stop it. I'm not going in for clinic duty for another hour." When the poking didn't stop the doctor immediately opens his eyes. At first he stiffens, not remembering were he was. Looking down he saw his daughter. He could hear Wilson's raspy snores still in the chair next to them. Big blue eyes looked up at him. "Hey sweetheart. Good morning."

He softly pressed a kiss on her up turned head. House glanced over past the other bed out the widow. Nearly shooting out of the bed at the sight, House gaped at the destruction. "Well, at least we know now why the power's still not on." He looked back down at his daughter. "Did you sleep alright? Are you hungry, thirsty?"

CavyGirl 08-02-2011 02:27 AM

Wilson snorts and closes his mouth. Though he was still fast asleep looking horribly not comfy in that chair. Sorta flopped all over on it. He shifts and mutters something back to House, "Mmm, just five more mins sugar...I need sleep....you know that." He shifts and slides out of the chair to the floor with a soft THUMP! "Mmm, we need a new bed."

Jessi looked proud of herself for waking him up. Watching him with intent blue eyes as he goes to the window to look out of it. Tilting her head to the side slowly. Once he came back to her full focus she bobs her head. Making the sign for both. Remembering what was taught to her the night before. That and her tiny tummy growls loudly in agreement to her saying she wanted food and NOW.

artbabe33445 08-02-2011 03:01 AM

He is so proud of his daughter for remembering the signs he taught his daughter the night before. "Alright then little lady let's get you some food, I may have to work a miracle seeing as there is no power." Making his way to the door, house stops and presses a gentle kiss to his daughter's forehead. He didn't say it out loud, but he hoped his daughter could feel how much he loved her. Then he saw Wilson fall ungracefully out of the chair.

House laughed slightly, but his face holds a warm smile. "Wilson. Nice one!" He limps over and helps the other doctor to his feet stealing a kiss. "Good Morning." He whispered softly running a hand through Wilson's thick hair. "Stay here with Jessie till I get back. The father has to go hunt for his family."

He headed out the door with a smile and a wink. The hallways were a busy mess of people running back and forth, mainly nurses and doctor's caring for patients. House ignored them all with the singular task of getting food for hid daughter and boyfriend. The cafeteria was out of service, so the doctor pocket a few apples, bananas and oranges. There were a few muffins under a glass cake dome. He popped a few of them in his pocket. Grabbing a few water bottles he headed back upstairs.

CavyGirl 08-02-2011 03:25 AM

Jessi watches him leave and sighs softly. Moving to lay back down yawning softly. Wishing he would hurry back. Not only with the food and drinks but she missed him. It didn't take House to long to earn her trust and love. Wilson however, would take longer for whatever reason. Women? Forget it...least for now. His team? Long time too. She buried herself under her fuzzy, warm purple blanket hugging her bunny. Yawning deeply trying not to sleep again.

Wilson snorts and mummers, "Morning House.. We need a new mattress. This one is to hard and cold." He opens his eyes and lets House help him up. Kissing him back lovingly. He yawns and goes to sit on the bed. Starring out the window mouth dropped open, "Holy shit."

He shakes his head and moves to take a seat once more. Rubbing his head tentivly. "Damn headache. Please go away."

artbabe33445 08-02-2011 04:29 AM

House comes back into the room and sees both of his loves falling back to sleep. He snickers, "Okay you two, I got some breakfast." House sets up the main table next to his daughter's bed so she can feel included, then pulls over the table for the hospital bed. Placing a paper towel from the bathroom he unwraps his daughter's muffin setting it and a banana down. "Sorry Jessie they didn't have any juice, but I did get you some water. Please eat slowly so you don't get sick. No one will take your food from you." He runs a hand over her head helping her to sit up and kissed the top of her head.

He watched Wilson rub his head obviously in pain House sighed. "Are you still hurting? Sleeping in those hard chairs all night probably didn't help." The diagnostician laid out the rest of their food and then brushed off his hands. Placing his hands on Wilson's shoulder's he helps the other doctor sit down at the table. He slowly worked out the knots in the oncologist's shoulders and neck. "That was one hell of a storm last night. The generators kicked on in the ICU and the other emergency floors. We should have normal power in a few hours."
