"i wont let you hurt him" she said.

"Then you'll die protecting him." Rothbart said. He sent a blast her but it just bounced off.

"you cant hurt me" she said.

"I can't but I know someone who can.' he said then used his magic to control Daniel or at least try. Daniel was made to put his hands around her neck and tighten only he was resisting so it didn't quite work. "You fool, don't resist me, you'll only kill yourself that way."

"daniel you have to fight it" she said.

He tried and rothbart tightened his hold on him.

Odette waited to see what would happen.

Daniel was able to fight it and force Rothbart out.

Odette smiled at him.

Rothbart did what he'd never had to do, he changed into a dragon and glared at Odette.

Odette stayed infront of Daniel but she was kind of nervous now.

He breathed a dark fire at them but he found that that didn't work either. The guests had run to hide and Daniels parents had gone to their room.

The fairy queen appeared beside Odette. "give up Rothbart. This has gone on long enough" she said.

"And what is miss queen weakling going to do?" he taunted her.

"i am doing nothing. Odette will." she said. "what are you talking about" she asked her. "you have the crystal and inside you know what to do Odette" she said to her. with that Odette closed her eyes and focused and a white beam hit rothbart.

Rothbart felt the beam hit him and felt a big hole in him. He growled and tried to hit the queen but he was too injuried.

"its over rothbart" the queen said.

"This is not the end." he said and disappeared.

"are you two ok" the queen asked.

"Yeah, fine." he said. He was a little shaken from being controlled but other than that he was fine.

Odette kissed him.

He blushed and kissed her back.

"so what do you want to be" she asked.

"I want to be with you." he said. "I love you." he said. He really meant it and felt good once he said it.

"that reminds me. we should get the guest back so that you can break the spell Daniel. you have to declare it infront of a crowd" the queen said.
