rain was beginning to pour, but it made the skys look grim.

Moss-talon lapped at the water the trickled into the hollow tree that they lived in while black-star let it soak her fur.

Wind clan DID bury somebody......it was their leader, Tallstar. it was his last life. The entire wind clan was meowing mournfully.

Black-star heard the mournful meowing. poor windclan she thought.

snow-stripe snuck into the Shadow-clan territory, and walked up to black-star

"Who did you bury?" she asked him.

"tallstar.....our leader" he said.

"i am so sorry for your loss. he was a noble and brave warrior" black-star said. moss-talon scampered over to snow-stripe and nommed on his tail.

snow-stripe played with moss-talon with his tail "they want me to succsed him"

"they want you to be the keadr. congradulations" she said with a smile.

"I dont know if i can lead.....do you thik i can?" he asked her, twirling his tail around moss-talon

moss-talon giggled.

"of course i do" she said.

he licked her ear, then pounced on moss-talon. "heheh, got you."

Moss-talon giggled and pawed at his nose. "She likes you. She didn't even play with her father like that," Black-star said.

"who was her father" he asked

" Leopard-talon but he died before she could even walk," Black-star said.
