Sai shrugged and let out a soft sigh. "It's worked out for me well enough. Sure I do feel lonely here and there, but it's nothing I can't handle. I don't need anyone but myself to look after me." She said.
|
Mayu straightened her back, now having her head slightly over the water. "People are useful though! What if you were dying and you had nobody there to help? Friends aren't supposed to just look after you, they're more than that!" she said. Mayu leaned back on the edge of the springs pondering about all the friends she made over the years.
|
Sai shook her head. "Yes, but making friends also makes unnecessary attachments to people as well. What if someone betrays you or... dies. Then you're only left feeling miserable at their passing. The way I see it, if I die, I die. I don't need people to mourn me." She answered.
|
Itachi raised his head looking towards the girls, "Hmm....if we told Mayu she wouldn't let us..." Itachi smirked looking at Hidan, "I say screw them though..." He grinned.
|
Mayu sighed at the female; slumping in posture. "I still think that's pretty lonely. I know this may sound like some sort of 'after school special' but think about it; if life was ment to be experienced like that, then why would there be so many people roaming the earth?" she didn't like being deep like this, it felt odd even though it doesn't fall too far from her 'voice of reason' type of personality.
|
"I don't look at it that way. And either way, I'm not looking for anyone's approval. It's just been easier for me." Sai replied. "I can go anywhere I want and no one is sad when I leave. I'm not sad to leave people behind, and no one can even think to betray me." Sai took a deep breath. "Surely it's not the most ideal lifestyle, but I'm free, and that's the way I like it."
|
Mayu shrugged. "I guess some people enjoy an unconventional lifestyle." she decided to let it go. Even though she wanted to, she wasn't in the mood to ask the reason why she had that kind of lifestyle. "I can't really do anything about that." she finished.
|
Hidan grinned back. "Yeah, let's do this! For the sake of our own comforts and the sake of our sanity...or just mine, 'cuz Pain and Kakuzu are driving me crazy and I need an outlet." He sighed and sank down into the waters once more, glad that the Akatsuki leader and his stupid partner weren't there to annoy him any further. |
Itachi chuckled happily at the idea. He looked foreward and saw the other boy just staring at them. "Hey Hidan…guy is whatching us…" The Uchiha said turning to the other.
|
Bubbles gurgled to the top as Hidan hmm'd with half his head underwater, "Yeah...I noticed." Mouth still half-submerged, he lazily drawled at the stranger, "Hey you over there, what're you lookin' at?" |
"Two members of the Akatsuki out of their cloaks plotting…considering it's you two I figure that you should know that…" He said with a shrug crossing his arms over his chest looking at Hidan.
Itachi chuckled dryly, looking at Hidan. Secretly he was wondering if the boy would strike a nerve with Hidan. The boy was kind of being an ass. |
Normally the kid's attitude would've irked him, but right now Hidan couldn't be bothered. The other girl had been right; the springs were for relaxing. Besides, the kid was sitting out of his pike's reach anyway, so it wasn't like he could just lean over and stab him...though if he scooted a bit nearer, he just might. "Plotting?" He said airily, lazily waving his hand (which looked more like flopping his hand onto the water and causing a little splash) at the stranger, "I have no idea what you're talking about. We were just having a chat." |
"Yeah about taking over a hot spring. I don't care…"The boy said scoffing, "But singing think you should be less vocal about it? Aren't the girls you came with right over there? They could probably hear you…" He said raising an eyebrow.
|
Hidan snorted. "Heh, they came with us, what makes you think they won't agree with me n' Itachi?" Dipping a towel into the waters, he brought it back up again and began to clean his face. |
(( Okay, so I'm at the point where I think I could say- 'We need someone to play Deidara until Gakupo decides to post something' considering she hasn't posted anything in about I dont know..5 weeks? :L ))
Due to the random silence between the two girls, Mayu was able to hear the conversation over at the men's side of the springs. "I'll be right back, follow me if you want." she told Sai before she swam to the other ends of the springs where the barrier was between the two genders. "Heh, excuse me? Technically, you all came with me, seeing it was my idea." she corrected Hidan, not noticing them talking about the springs idea. She casually leaned on the low barrier of the springs. Mayu glanced at the stranger that was also in the conversation, "Who is this?" she asked eyeing him. |
((Hmm, I could do Deidara. I forgot where he was at though...was he in his room or something?)) |
(( I think so, I'll annoy him with Tobi :3 ))
"Really?" she asked. "Hmph, odd." she bluntly commented. "Is that all you guys are doin'? It's kind of boring at my end, I feel like climbing over to your guys' side." Mayu said honestly, there wasn't much to talk about over at the girls' side and she felt pretty chatty at the moment. Tobi ran over to Deidara's door, knocking exuberantly. "DEIDARA-SEMPAIIII!!!! TOBI IS BOREDD!!" she screamed hopingly loud enough for him to hear. |
"Feel free..." Hidan muttered. There were probably regulations about this sort of stuff in the springs, but since when had he ever cared for rules? (barring Jashinist-related duties) |
"Awesome." she smirked, carefully climbing over to the other side. Mayu sat beside Hidan while listening more into the conversation. The steam felt thicker on that side of the pool, which seemed odd to her-- but it was still enjoyable.
Tobi watched at the door blew open from the small blast that he caused. The thick dust caused him to cough. "Deidara-sempai!! What were you doing?!" he asked-- obviously knowing the answer. |
"I was making art, duh! It was a masterpiece too!" Deidara scowled as he crawled out from under the bed and dusted himself off. "What happened to the others, mn?" He knew that most of them had gone out for a trip to the hot springs reserve near the base, but surely there would've been others left behind too? He really didn't want to be stuck with only Tobi, he'd wanted to get started on a new form of art he was experimenting on, and with Tobi there, the chances that he was going to get anything done was about as high as the chances of Hidan converting to Buddhism. |
"Oh! Well, everybody left Tobi and Dei-sempai here! It's only me and you now, Deidara-saan!!!" he yelled, excited about the many adventures they could have-- not that Deidara would actually agree to them.
|
Deidara groaned. Great. He was never going to stay behind on an outing again. Ever. Sighing, he went over the half-demolished closet and grabbed some cleaning products and a broom. "Fine, mn. If you're so bored, help me clean up the room or something, since technically it was entirely your fault that my room is now in ruins." He handed Tobi a mop.((Sorry for changing the colors all the time for Deidara with every post, I'm still trying to find a suitable color for him. :XD;;)) |
Tobi stared thoughtlessly at the mop. He didn't think mopping up clay was any fun at all, but then again, Deidara is the only companion he has at the moment. Sighing, he grabbed the mop and began to mop up the clumps of clay by his bed. "Tobi wouldn't have to do this if Deidara-sempai went to the springs with Hidan, Mayu and Itachi-sama." he mummbled.
(( Loll, it's okay XD I do that sometimes too~ )) |
"Deidara wouldn't be having this problem in the first place if Tobi hadn't bothered him, mn!" Deidara hissed, sweeping up various bits of broken stuff. Kakuzu was going to have a fit when he finds out just how much stuff he was going to have to buy to replace everything. Though he wouldn't put it past the old miser to tell him to just make everything himself with clay...normal clay, that is. Not the explosive ones. "...And why didn't you go with the others, anyway? I thought you liked hot springs, mn?" He asked as an afterthought, curious. |
"Oh!" Tobi stopped in the middle of his mopping as he tried to rememberwhat they had said to him. "Well, at first, the group told Tobi to leave the newer girl with you as a punishment for holding back the trip, but since she was really claustrophobic, they decided to let her join them on the trip and left Tobi with you as a punishment instead." he explained cheerfully. Afterwards he mopped by the corners of the room that he could reach.
