"Roger! You can count on us. Polar bear scouts at your service." Muk said as both the bear brothers soluted Gemini and took off towards the lake. They returned quickly with a full bucket of water and set it infront of the wolves.

Gemini grinned at the bears."great job, guys.thank you.I couldn't have carried that bucket myself." She said."ok, Balto, Diva, drink up.you both need this badly, and our brave scouts just brought it all this way for you." She told them with a smile.

"Brother, you drink first." Diva told Balto as she smiled at him. Her head was laid on the cool cave floor and for the moment she was to comfortable to move. Besides, she wasn't overly parched yet anyhow.

Balto crawled over to the water and dipped his muzzle into the bucket lapping up all the water he could. He drank for 2 minutes before coming back up for air. " that so much better"

Gemini nodded."good.Diva, you next.there's plenty left, don't worry.Balto, are you hungry at all?" She asked, pushing the bucket a bit closer to Diva.

Diva lapped at the water and let it settle in her belly. Her stomach twisted and knotted since it'd been empty and dry for so long. The coolness of the water ran threw her vains and gave her a rejuvinated feeling, she was finally able to sit up but not yet walk or move to much.

"Thank you all, sorry for being a burden." Diva's ears pulled back a bit.

Balto nugged diva a bit. " no your not'

Gemini flicked Diva's ear with her tail."not at all.its nice, taking care of someone again.you know..." she paused, looking out at the sky through the cave entrance."I had a dream.I dreamt that my pup was alive that he was calling for me.I couldn't see where he was but he was cold and tired and hungry,and I woke up knowing I had to get to him.he is only a few months old...only just old enough for solid food.do you think it was real, this dream? Is my pup out there somewhere, calling for me?" She asked, longing in her voice.

Diva smiled meekly still blaming herself for causing Gemini the problem of caring for her. It was more then obvious that she was a very good mother to her pup.

"Where should we go to look for him? Which direction?" Diva asked the other she wolf.

Gemini frowned."I don't know.I have...a feeling.almost like a rope tugging me...towards the ocean.I think, wherever he is, he's near the ocean.I really think he's still alive...but not for long, if we don't hurry..." she said, struggling with her feelings."but am I right? Or is this feeling just my own wishful thoughts leading me astray? Are my emotions clouding my judgement?"

Balto ate his food and drank the last bit of water before slowly standing. " lets go before night breaks, i dont want the cold getting into these wounds" balto said with a smile and he playfully pushed muk and luk out the of the cave.

The bears exited infront of Balto and were trailed by Diva.

"I have strong beliefs that we will find him, and alive." Diva said reassuring Gemini of her sanity.

Gemini nodded."thank you.but I'm not sure it's safe for you two to be moving yet.you're still hurt." She said worriedly, following them out of the cave.

"We cant keep sitting around, we need to keep moving forward" Balto said as he moved slowly trying not to show anykind of pain or disconcert. He wanted to fine that puppy, after going though everything to get here balto wanted to come home with something

Gemini nodded."I'm keeping my eyes on you, though." She said firmly."so, to the ocean it is then..."

Balto laughed and keep moving forward. he could smell the salt from here, and he hope to see that little boy. The ocean so reminded him of his home and his own family

Diva, Muc, and Luc fallowed behind the two wolves as they headed to the ocean. Diva hadn't ever been to this ocean before, so there was a bit of excitement building in her belly to see if it was any different from the one she'd known on the Eastern side of Canada.

Gemini walked silently, her chest feeling tight with anticipation as they slowly got closer to the ocean.it seemed to take forever, but eventually the trees gave way to rocks and sand, the still air became windy and loud, the quiet forest transformed to the crashing ocean.the frigid air blasted the group, sensing salt and sand flying as the waves crashed against the rocks.not far off, clinging tenuously to the shore, were four ships, all large and getting ready to leave as crew members swarmed over them like ants.Gemini stopped and sniffed the air."he's here.my son is here somewhere.these are the men that stole him from me." She growled, clearly ready to attack all of them.

Balto held her at the shoulders. " Lets move around back, bears stay here and keep a look out okay. Where going in" Balto said looking at the fluffy bears.

The polar bears nodded in understanding and fell back behind the trees. They took cover under a large pine tree in which the branches where weighted down by heavy snow. Diva watched the bears dissapear under the tree and hunched down into the snow, crawling towards the ships on her belly behind her brother and the other she-wold.

Gemini reluctantly nodded and followed Balto, ready to tear into the men like an avenging goddess just to get her son back.

Balto moved low to the ground, making sure that the humans didnt see them. "Gemini, i need you to smell okay your boy, take us too him" balto spoke softly

Diva wished she knew the young pups scent... She wished she could help more with the search but she made sure to keep an eye out for any funny business.

Gemini nodded."right.that wont be a problem." She said.she remembered her sons scent better than her own.she lifted her nose and sniffed, taking a moment to make sure she was thorough.it wasn't long before she caught it, faintly, from the third boat in the row, where most of the packing was already finished.because of this, most of the men had moved on, leaving the path relatively clear for the group."that one there.he's in there.his scent is faint...he must be inside, instead of on deck.and he smells frightened...wounded...he's sick.my baby is dying in there!" She growled, looking at the others with pain in her eyes.
