((Sorry, I was finishing my drawing of Kol. Alura, you could also give a bit of insight as to what is happening with the white moon senshi with your post.))

Kol watched her as she battled herself. He wanted to reach out and touch her, reassure her. He almost wanted her to cling to him like she used to, so he could protect her but... they were adults now and they were full Senshi. They couldn't act like kids anymore, could they?

Kol offered a smile as she defended her original founding of the caverns, but it faded quickly as he watched her cheer fall away to solemness. He shook his head as she spoke, and sat forward in his chair to lean on his knees. "As Senshi, we must be willing to risk our lives for the greater good, but that doesn't mean we are worth any less. And I never believed that it was your responsibility alone. I mean, didn't it take the Asgardian Senshi and ones from another galaxy to push Ragnarok into it's prison? Why should you have to deal with this all alone when it was everyone that fought the evil?"

As he spoke, the nagging memory came to the surface, it was of the legend of how Sailor Nott sealed away the evil the first time. Milky way... that's where the other senshi came from, wasn't it? One of them gave their lives to allow Nott to use her power. Why would the cultists need a Senshi from there? To break the seal, perhaps, but that would mean they would need.... No, there was no way he was leaving Vara to take care of this herself.

((And with that I have to go for now, gomen. ))

she'd thought it'd be his anger that would break her but she was wrong.....his compassion was so much worse. She couldn't stop the tears now as she stood up, her hands curled into fists almost tight enough to make her palms bleed even with her claws sheethed. Her shoulders shook, not with anger at him but all the pent up anger at herself. Her voice was filled with sorrow and guilt when she finally spoke, her eyes downcast.

"Because i failed! I didn't even know something was going on....... I failed you, i failed your father, I failed our Lomi. I failed everyone. I wasn't even here....I don't deserve help. I don't know how... How you can forgive me" She responded miserably, invoking their childhood nickname for the princess. Wisteria wouldn't let anyone else call her Lomi that but Kol and Vara were different. Her voice shook with guilt as she tried to contain herself but failed. Why shouldn't she? she was failing at everything else lately despite her confident act. She bit her lip to stop the words from flowing, not having meant to say so much. She wiped her eyes, trying not to look like a miserable overwhelmed kid even if she felt like one. Anger she could deal with, Hatred she could ignore, but this compassion broke her resolve like it was nothing.

((*giggle* Cut scene to cold mountainside on the planet Skati!))

The woman known as Veturungbarn Ondervald to most people, Vetur to her friends, sat alone on a mountain, in a tree, fiddling with a stone that had made it's way to her recently. She thought of it that way because it had shown up, and she recognized the color as matching her eyes almost exactly. Apple green, with just a hint of new grass in it. She sighed, looking down the mountain at the little village that she'd lived in for years, thinking of a time she didn't have to hide herself. At least the shikasha, her spirit animal, didn't seem to mind her presence on their mountain. A howl split the silence, soon joined by other voices, music to her ears. She closed her eyes, tail twitching as she recognized the tone- they were about to go hunting again.

Looking back down at the stone, she sighed again. Trouble was brewing, even if it was slow to reach her beloved cold planet. She slipped the stone into her bag, dropped out of the tree, and started heading further up the mountain. She wanted to be far away from the town when she activated it, not wanting anyone to find the kind people she'd been living with for so long.

Back on Earth Rei took to her maiden duties as usual, giving slight scowls to the men that passed by making passes at her. She only sighed and ignored it. Sweeping about the place when she found a small stone appear at her feet, it wasn't like anything she saw before. It was shiny, and normally shiny things tended to be bad omens, or something important. Rei felt like she needed to pick up this stone, between Makoto's disappearance and something like this suddenly showing up had to be more than a coincidence.

Not knowing where it would take her she immediately transformed "If this will take me to Mako...I suppose I don't have a choice."

After she examined the stone it covered her in a bright light, and in a flash, she was gone.

When she appeared again it was on a strange planet she couldn't recognize, Mars clenched her fists in case any hostiles would come out to greet her. Normally something like that would happen. Where she was, seemed to be a jungle she could feel something pull her toward a nearby cave, but it seemed a little odd. Though she felt like she needed to go in there.

"Hello?" her voice echoed through it as she peered into mouth of the cave.

(Probably failed here, but yeah...)

((It's not a fail, it just has a couple run-on sentences. It's fine.))

Vetur glanced back down the mountain, the village a mere dot of light in the snow. Down in the valley it was still just a light dusting, but this far up, it got to almost knee deep in places already. Ducking under a pine tree, she took the stone back out of her bag, shifting the bow slung over one shoulder. "I suppose I've waited long enough, haven't I?" she whispered, wind picking up and stealing away the words. With a blizzard picking up around her, she activated the stone, knowing that whatever was on the other side of the spell was trouble of one sort or another.

The first impression she had of where she was now was heat. It was much warmer here, and she dropped her bag and bow to strip off the outermost garment she had on. With her fur, she was more susceptible to heatstroke. That done, she looked around at the greenery, pupils slitting at the sunlight sifted through the trees. It had been night back home. She saw movement on the other side of a tree, and she grabbed her bow and nocked an arrow, creeping around to get a good view before deciding on whether or not to shoot.

(Edited)

She was minding her own business when she suddenly felt herself being watched, the dark haired beauty turned around and began shouting, "I know someone or something is there! Whoever you are!" She had to be sure it wasn't hostile, but she was ready just in case. There was no time to explore the cave now, but if needed she would retreat into it, of course a cave was not an ideal place to run into, but it could be handy for ambushing.

((And suddenly Jupiter returns to the world of the living! XD Forgive me everyone for dissappearing, I've just had a hectic week or so ^^; ))

Makoto was more than surprised when this woman called forth a portal; she thought only Setsuna could do that after all; but didn’t have much time to react when she was shoved headfirst into it. She barely yelped, throwing her arms over her head as a means of protection to whatever laid beyond, but upon her landing felt something…well it wasn’t exactly soft, but wasn’t hard either.

Makoto blinked; she was somewhere in a jungle, with lush trees standing all around her, and rocks covered in moss nearby. She jumped slightly when another one of those feathery lizards flew towards them; had those from the prison followed through? Makoto was sure as hell not going back there!

However the thing instead landed on the woman behind her, as if she was familiar with her. Makoto could now see her more clearly and was rather shocked at her animalistic appearance. It wasn’t terrible or anything; far from it; but between those damp walls and dragon creatures and running from soldiers the brunette wasn’t sure what was happening anymore. Who was looking for her?? Who was she?? Where were the other senshi? Where the hell was here??

The woman gave her hand and Makoto tried to stand, but noticed that her vision became blurry. ‘Well crap,’ she thought before darkness claimed her. Apparently her body agreed with her and decided she wasn’t going to deal with this crap until later.

---------------

Again, Makoto found herself waking up to unfamiliar surroundings. Only this time, she was lying down on her back in what looked like to be a cave. She groaned again, trying to sit up; her head felt like it was going to split into two though. Where was she now?? The brunette tried to regain her bearings, trying to recall what had happened.

Suddenly she was hit with the memories of what seemed to happen merely a few moments ago; finding herself chained in a dungeon; being saved by a woman in black; running from what seemed to be guards before being shoved through a portal; finding herself in a jungle before realizing her savior didn’t look human at all…

“Alright…” she muttered hoarsely to herself. “Where am I now??” Makoto noticed that there was a blanket covering most of her body, so she gathered was supposedly in safe hands. Only question was whose hands they were…

((Um, Alura? I really don't mean to be rude, but there isn't any snow in this area, it was back where Vetur came from. Where they are now is a warm forest on a different planet, near the cave that Staria's, Shadow's, and Kage's characters are in. Could you please change your post to match that?))

((Thank you!))

Vetur's eyes narrowed a touch, she knew she hadn't made that much noise. Though, in her hast to strip off her outer garment, she may have. She stood straight, walking the rest of the way around the tree, bow still nocked and aimed for this mysterious woman. Her accent was odd, and she didn't have any sign of a spirit beast. Was she someone without one? "Shouting will only draw attention, merely speaking would suffice," she said, standing in clear view. She took in the woman's outfit, similar in some ways to her own scout form. "Who are you?"

Kol tried his best to remain in his chair, the urge to hug her even stronger as he watched the tears pour from eyes. He also wanted to yell at her, tell her to stop blaming herself for everything, the other people of Asgardia did it enough as it is. And yes, for some time he did blame her too, mainly because of his mother and others around him, but as he got older he rationalized it. She was doing her duty as the Senshi of Nott. It was a larger job than most Senshi and required her to leave, just like the Sailor Notts before her. There was no way she could have known this would happen, no one did... why is it all her fault then?

He shook his head and stood then, looking Vara in the eyes as he spoke. "I don't believe there is anything to forgive. Like you said, you were not here and didn't know a thing about what was happening, how can you be at fault for something no one knew was coming?" He said, stepping forward to touch her shoulder despite himself.

A few seconds later, a section of the stone next to the entrance of the caves glowed red with a cluster runes. It was one of the charms he had set up, a warning system of sorts. Kol's eyes immediately snapped to them, cursing softly under his breath. "I think you were tracked" He asked as he stepped back and unclasped his cloak, letting it fall onto the chair behind him.

Mars noticed the strange...creature before her, well it was obvious it was female with that curvy body. Rei shook her head, this was no time to be gawking. "Better question: Why are you creeping around like that?" She asked with a smug attitude, "And don't point that thing at me." She told her, a hand on her hip. She wasn't in the mood for an interrogation of course she needed to know if this was a friend or foe before she acted, but with her pointing a weapon at her, it didn't seem that they would be on friendly terms. Then again Rei did have a fiery attitude, actually more like a temper and short fuse. "And quit staring at me." she said when she took notice.

"I should have known...." She whispered, frowning to herself. How she should have known even she couldn't say but part of her felt she should have. All the other Sailor Nott's seemed able to watch so much of the universe... than again she was also sure they would have managed to defeat the released dark army faster. Still... that was one thing that still bothered her. Just what had released them in the first place? Now that she knew the cult was back at work it was starting to look like way to much to be a coincidence. Her mind, however, was easily brought to the present as he touched her shoulder and she fought the urge to just hug onto him.

She looked up at him a moment, biting her lip softly. So much concern in his gaze... She wanted to say something, anything but her voice was caught in her throat. He was no child anymore, those broad shoulders and that face... It was almost looking at a good looking but intimidating stranger if not for the concern in his gaze. She stepped back with a blush, not sure how to respond for a moment. She was saved from having to do so, however as the warning announced itself. Instantly the girl he knew faded into the woman toughened by a decade long war she'd fought across the stars before returning here.

"I would have felt it if magical or smelled them if physical..." She said matter-of-factly as she frowned towards the entrance a moment. The orbs of calling! Her mother had spoken of the legend of them so many times... How it would unite the universe once more... She than remembered the alter of Nott and how when she had returned the stones on her mother's alter were gone. In there place had only been the lingering tug of her own power and a soft glow of energy in the places each one set.... Could it be? That some had already found the soul they were meant to bring? if they had moved with such speed than the release of Ragnarok must have been closer than she had previously realized.

"They may, however, be...friends. It does, however, mean that there is more dangerous than i thought. The release of Ragnarok must be in the process of being triggered. They can not do it without the woman i stole, Sailor Jupiter, but they are close enough that the stones of Calling have been released. They magical stones said to have been created by the ancient sailor nott, the ancient queen of Jortha, and the ancient queen of the white moon in the milky way.....They will bring Asgardian Senshi and other Senshi across the universe to stop the release or try and destroy Ragnarok should he be released... " She finally revealed with a closed expression. She had not wanted to burden him... but her desire to fight alone was no longer a viable option. She would have to do this as it was done before...

Kol glanced at her with a look that told her not to be smug. Even the best-trained warriors can be caught off-guard if they let down their defenses, much like the two of them had when they saw each other. His hand moved towards his flute and he started towards the door when she spoke again. He turned back to face her, brows furrowing as he processed what she was saying.

"If it is other Senshi, we should greet them before they try and leave, I'm sure the Cultists would love to get their hands on them... Though, for all we know they could already be sided with them. Either way, we must be ready to attack or defend. We should go around the back, we shouldn't reveal the main opening to the caves until we know they are allies.
" He said, his voice taking an air of command as he reasoned out a plan. His mind ran quickly as usual, briefly pondering on various possibilities of who the intruders were, if they were hostile and how he and Vara should act.

Shaking his head to clear his mind, he looked back to Vara. "You should check on Jupiter first. I'll head outside and scout the area for the intruders." He said, leaving little room for argument as he turned to head for the series of caverns that lead to another hidden exit.

He used to be the submissive one, always bending and going along with pretty much whatever Vara and the princess did, only stepping up when something threatened them. But now, with the strife and hardships of becoming a full Senshi and surviving the onslaught of the cultists, he had come to be a much more aggressive and mature man. He was no longer as carefree and lax as he was when he was a child. The mischievousness had been replaced by sharp with and a calculating mind, the easygoing demeanor was now a suspicious and tense one.

He knew how to take control of a situation and usually could figure out the best plan of action, though this didn't keep him with the rebels like it should have. His feelings on Vara made him an outcast among allies more often than not, and they lost an Asgardian Senshi because of it. He hoped they regretted it, though he was pretty sure he didn't regret leaving.

The thought of the other Asgardian Senshi made him even more tense. He knew some of them already admitted defeat and nearly all of those who hadn't still blamed Vara. There were too many variables to the situation at hand. If it was an Asgardian, who's side would they be on?

Makoto sat up slowly, clutching her head in pain. Oh yeah, her head was splitting into two. But the brunette needed to know what was going on, especially since it was she was had apparently been kidnapped. As far as Makoto was concerned, that had never happened to her---never. And what of the other Senshi, her friends?? Surely they must be around right? If Sailor Moon was captured by the same ones who got her....

With renewed strength the princess of Jupiter slowly got to her feet. If Usagi was a prisoner somewhere...where ever here was, then it was her duty as a Sailor Scout to find and protect her. With that thought in mind, Makoto walked on the cool cavern floor to what she hoped was the exit. She needed answers and she wasn't going to rest until she got them.

Meanwhile, back at the castle.

A beautiful girl was lounging on a very comfortable couch, looking at a certain book. She was the 2nd in command to the cult, she was happily minding her own business when a soldier busted into the room, causing her to drop the book. "Ma'am the prisoner has escaped!" they told her.

"Yes, I figured that out, thank you." She said, picking up the book and continued to read it.

"Shouldn't we chase after them or something?" The soldier looked at the busty female.

"When I'm done reading this book, and I'm not done."

"But Ma'am...you can't read.."

"It's a picture book!" She spouted, who needs words anyway? "I'll go when I'm ordered to, and not before."

"Creeping?" she said, eyebrow raised. She shook her head slightly. "I will not lower my bow until you answer my question, though I will answer your's," she continued, stepping a bit closer. "There are people in these worlds who would try to kill or capture me on sight, some of which used to be comrades of mine." Her voice turned bitter and just a bit cold toward the end, her eyes narrowing and hardening. "Now answer my question, who are you and where do you hail from?"

Vara's face became slightly cold as he looked at her. It was not smugness... but rather what she had set up earlier before she had gone. She had expected to be tracked so deliberately found a place not on the security routes to port and set up other protections to make sure she'd at least actually know if not prevent tracking all together. Still... She had not expected him to know it. The girl he knew would have rushed in without thought, without preparation and fueled only by emotion. She always thought of what was right and acted before she thought of how or what dangers there was to herself.

Still, that didn't irritate her enough to stay anything though him giving her orders would have if she hadn't been so stunned. That was not the Kol she knew....she was not the only one who had changed it seemed. She frowned, her spirit beast making her naturally independent and unwilling to obey orders unless absolutely necessary. It was one of the qualities of the secretive S'kisa she'd never been able to suppress. Even as a child she'd rarely listen and just go figure things out on her own, thankfully she usually had sharp enough instincts not to get into more trouble than she could get out of or she'd probably be dead. Many of those with the S'kisa spirit beast did die young because of this independence... some even thought they were cursed.

After a few moments she recovered and started after him when she heard a shuffle to her left. She glanced forward only to see Sailor Jupiter exiting the room she'd been laying in. She hesitated and glanced towards the back caverns to the entrance. She would have to hurry after him soon... he could not recognize the stones, she could. It would have been more practical for her to go... still, if Jupiter knew any of the people who came she could be ...useful.

"Senshi Jupiter....You are awake. I apologize that I can not explain to much just yet, but one of your friends may be here and I'd like to prevent him or her from attacking mine. I ask that you follow me.... I'll explain what I can when i can..." She said quietly and stepped next to Jupiters side. She would dig into her pouch and pull out the senshi's transformation pen, handing it to jupiter so she could transform if she willed. It would be a sign of respect and hopefully one that would earn Jupiters trust quickly. She than grabbed jupiters free hand whenever she took it and would lead her after Kol. She walked quickly as if she wanted to run but kept her pace so that Jupiter could keep up. Few could keep up when a Skisa chose to run...

"You are on Jortha, a planet in the Asgardia galaxy which is not visible from the Milky Way. Your ancestor did something here... something an evil cult seeks to undo, something they need your life and my blood to undo. If they succeed it could mean the end of the universe. Your arrival here has also triggered events that will cause other Senshi from across the galaxy to arrive. Some may be your fellow Senshi, some may be strangers from neither of our galaxies....some may be Asgardian. We won't know until they arrive. Legend says they will arrive as they are needed....but it may be just luck." She explained as she walked, her main focus on catching up to Kol but hopefully she would understand.

Kol walked with a quickened step down the chain of small caverns and tunnels, pausing only when he reached the halfway point. He slipped off to the left into a tiny pocket of a cavern, barely more than a dip in the wall barred with stalactites and stalagmites. There he quickly slipped off his clothing, letting it fall to the damp floor in his hurry. As soon as he stepped out of his pants, the scaled patches of his skin spread to cover most of his back, shoulders and arms. Holding himself up on the cool pillars, he let his legs give way to the body and tail of a snake, dark green, olive and blue-grey in color with white and orange markings and a creamy, olive-tinged belly. A spiked fin protruded from his spine, running from his lower back to where his knees once were, and instead of a narrow tail tip, the flesh of the tail widened into a leaf-shaped paddle.

The rushed transformation left him a tad dizzy, but he shook it off as he heard the echoes of footsteps, lowering himself to grab the wide rectangle of black cloth that was his belt. Vara must just be bringing Jupiter with her, potentially a good idea, but also a potentially bad one. The woman had passed out no more than a hour ago, and they still were not sure if the intruders were friendly or not. He didn't doubt the Senshi's capability, but Vara had made it clear that she was to be protected at all costs. The feline must be sure of her call on the identity of the people standing outside the caverns.

Laying his fin flat, he wrapped the soft cloth tightly around his waist, covering what he knew few would recognize as private, but he still couldn't come to terms slithering about in the nude. He was fastening the belt-turned-skirt with the small gold and citrine clasp when the two woman neared. He had hoped to get outside before them, so he could at least mostly hide in the trees and brush and reduce the shock-value he was fairly sure his appearance would bring. Ah well, too little to late. Sliding over himself, he doubled back to exit the small nook, already preparing an quick explanation in his mind.

Mars looked at her for a moment, "I'm Rei- Sailor Mars, from Earth, happy now?" she answered. "Well I'm not one of those people, other wise you'd be on fire by now." She was getting irritated, her tone of voice proved it. She could feel something familiar and strange about this girl, was she a spirit of some kind? Or something else? The Priestess within her was thinking of bringing out a sutra and gluing it to the girl's face just in case, but thought otherwise.

"You can put that thing down now you know, fighting here wouldn't help us find out where we are, and I want to avoid burning down an entire jungle." She was saying, she wondered if Jupiter was here somewhere, but that could wait.

Makoto wasn’t exactly expecting her savior to be in the immediate room, but presently she didn’t care. She was slightly put out by her animalistic features, but when she spoke about one of her friends nearby her heart thumped a bit louder. Could the other Senshi be here?? But what if this was simply a trap? Sure, she did save her, but for all she knew it could be a ruse! Makoto wasn’t ready to trust her yet.

That is, until she pulled out her transformation pen and gave it back. The brunette gasped, taking the pen, smiling slightly at how good it felt to have it back. Deciding to rest her throat, the tall woman nodded, allowing herself to be led out as she listened intently. Her face was passive but inwardly she was becoming very shocked. She was on another planet?? In another GALAXY?! And her ancestor? Could she really mean her ancestor or perhaps her past life? Makoto was unsure if any other planets—galaxies—knew about reincarnation.

“I think you will have to explain this to me with a lot more detail,” Makoto finally spoke, noting how raspy she sounded, “But first we should find this other person; hopefully it is one of my friends…” she sighed, before remembering.
