Hikaru looked at the umbreon as it was gathering energy. She thought about what move to use before finally coming to a decision. It won't be easily and kind of risky, but that's how Spazzy likes it. "Spazzy use metal claw and deflect the blast!" Her empoleon's claws suddenly started glinting and became hard as steel. The blast came at full force, pushing empoleon into a tree. The blast defused, leaving the empoleon a bit tired. "You alright Spaz? Good. Now use drill peck!" Her empoleon jumped into the air and started spinning as it dived down towards the umbreon.

"Try to dodge it Umbreon!" The Umbreon leaped away but got hit in the side. He got swinged away and hit the ground, but managed to stand up. That surprised Fee, the blow was really hard
"Umbreon use Iron Tail!" It was risky, Umbreon wasn´t a close combat pokemon, but she saw that long distance attacks had too much of a chance to be blown back. Plus it might work better this way. Umbreons tail started to glow as he leaped onto the air and turned his tail toward the Empoleon |
"Nice job Spazzy!" It wasn't a direct hit, but it was still powerful nonetheless. Her empoleon landed to the left of Felicity's umbreon and flexed it's wings. Hikaru saw the umbreon use iron tail, but her eyes stayed the same. "Block it!" Her empoleon nodded and braced itself for the hit. Unfortunately the blow was harder than anticipated and her empleon received damage.
It stood up and shook of the blow. This made Hikaru bite her lip, before shouting out a command. "That was hard Spazzy, but you know how we do things. Bubblebeam!" Bubbles flew out of her empoleon's beak as they headed at high speed towards her opponent's umbreon. |
"Umbreon, Quick attack! dodge the bubbles" ooh please let him dodge them Umbreon dodged 2 but got hit with the rest full on and landed, exhausted, but standing. I see this is it Fee thought, knowing the extend of her pokemon's power.
"Umbreon, use Feint Attack" Umbreon started glowing a pitch black as he readied the undodgeable attack. in a flash of a second he leaped forward full speed toward Empoleon |
Hikaru grinned and felt like making the peace sign with her hands, until Felicity had shouted "Feint Attack". She knew that it wouldn't be able to be dodged by her empoleon, but she could at least block it. "Spazzy, ready yourself to block it with metal claw." Spazzy complied, for once feeling a bit uneasy. The attack made full contact with her empoleon's wings and made him skid back.
Her empoleon was now fatigued from blocking those blasts. Hikaru realized that this battle was almost over. "I know you're tired, but I bet you have a few more attacks right? Good, now use water pulse!" A sphere of water started swirling from the beak of Hikaru's empoleon and flooded out in a wave. Hikaru prayed that this attack would work, otherwise they would be boned. |
"Umbreon!" Felicity gasped as her Umbreon was hit full on with the attack, he had been too tired to dodge, and now lay feinted on the battle field. "It's okay Umbreon you were amazing. Nice battle" she complimented Hikaru.
"Hope you're ready for the next round though, 'cause I'm not planning to lose this time!" she released her next pokemon, Steelix. It's time for the tank to make his round she thought, amused by how much room her Steelix took. |
Hikaru gave a triumphant smile and called back her empoleon. "You did good Spazzy, real well." She saw Felicity throw out a pokeball and a steelix appeared. It would probably dwarf her next pokemon in size, but no matter. "Your turn Majic!" She threw a pokeball onto the field and out came a Kadabra. The pokemon seemed tired and not really in the mood for battle. "I don't care if you need "preparation" time. The battle is now."

Sceptile fainted afeter the cut from Absol "Okay you have won the first round" He said and recalled Sceptile

"Since I lost, I get to make the first move" hmmm a kadabra she had no idea what to expect from this one.
"Steelix are you ready?" the massive pokemon gave her a determined look. "use iron tail!" a basic, though she loved the attack. The steel tail began to glow as it visually hardened. Steelix dug himself underground, an extra to the attack that Fee had taught him herself, and she was pretty proud of it |
Hikaru visibly cringed. She wasn't good with detecting where Felicity's steelix would end up. "Majic, try and use protect!" The pokemon prepared himself for this, but was in vain as the iron tail hit him with full force. Hikaru's kadabra grunted and stood up. It was clearly damaged, but not down for the count. "Good, now try and use psybeam on that steelix."

"Steelix use dog adn prepare for another Iron tail!" The Steelix dug under getting only the tip of his tail hit by the Psybeam. Thank god that was close. Fee knew that Steelix did not take that much of damage from psychic attacks but she wasn't going to take much risk again after her Umbreon collapsed.

Hikaru's kadabra turned back and was quickly hit by the attack. He put up a protect just in time, but the power of the blast had knocked him a few feet. He stood up, looking resilient, but the steelix looked better in terms of health. "Can you still fight? Good. The same trick won't work on you twice right." She looked around the field before thinking of a plan. "Majic, you dive into one of those holes and move around until I say now. Got that?" Her kadabra nodded and ran, diving down into the hole that Fee's steelix made earlier.

"Okay Steelix, I need you to lay down on the ground and try to catch any movement from down there!" this might work, Steelix being half stone pokemon had a good natural sense of vibrations and movements underground.

Hikaru's kadabra sat waiting. After what seemed like an eternity she finally signaled her kadabra. "Now, Majic! Use Psycho Cut!" Majic finally leaped out of the ground, coming at Felicity's steelix with blades on his arms, formed by psychic energy.

Steelix had felt the Kadabra coming, but it was too close and the lack of speed caused the attack to hit full on. But it didn't hurt him that much, being a stone/ steel type only special attacks had a chance.
"try a wrap attack Steelix, your being great!" Steelix turned it's massive tail toward the kadabra, who was standing dangerously close after the new attack. |
Hikaru cringed when the attack didn't do much damage. Her kadabra fell back, but not quick enough as the steelix had coiled Majic. The hold was tight and Majic could feel himself loosing air. It tried to struggle free, but no avail. Hikaru sighed. "So, are you going to give up or do you have another plan?" Her kadabra struggled a bit before nodding. "Alright, you win this round Fee. Good job."

"thanks, I don't call him the Tank for nothing" she siad smiling "Great job Steelix, you can rest now" she was proud of how he wasn't that damaged, but she only had one tank. "Is it okay if we move a bit closer to the lake for this one?" she asked, eager to show the powers of her Milotic

"It's a fitting name." Hikaru called back her kadabra and cupped a hand around the ball of her sceptile. He was always a wild pokemon. He had only stayed inside his pokeball when absolutely necessary. "Sure, but keep in mind that I'm using the land too." She knew that the next pokemon would probably be a water type, but sent out Undergrowth instead of Shinra, jsut because she was saving him for later. "Go Undergrowth!" Her sceptile was released and growled in anticipation.

"I'm not gonna lie to you... that was close. Ripper, get back here and relax..." The absol disappeared back into the pokeball "...Alright, Whos next from your team?" Cj grinned as he looked to the line of pokeballs in front of the other trainer

"Come on out Medichan" throughing the pokeball and out it came. Zenfoids bag wiggeled a little bit

"that's okay we cant take it" Fee said grinning as she let her Milotic go free in the water, another rather big pokemon, though smaller and less catastrophic as her Steelix.
"The honour is entirely yours" she said waiting for the Sceptile to make his first move |
Hikaru grinned. "Fair enough. Undergrowth use bullet seed!" Her sceptile ran up close to the edge of the lake before releasing those seeds and falling back. She waited for Felicity's milotic's reaction before thinking of the next move.

"Milotic use surf!" Milotic lammed her tail against the water, creating a hug wave that worked as a shield against the bullet seed and continued toward the land.

Hikaru swore under her breath. She had anticipated this and knew that it wasn't good for Undergrowth. He was a close range fighter usually, and was better on land. "Undergrowth, use safegaurd!" Her sceptile surrounded himself in a sphere of light, protecting himself from the bulk of the blast, but ended up sliding from the wet ground beneath him. God, that was close. I shouldn't have let that snake thing even near the water. "Undergrowth use giga drain!" She knew that her sceptile was fine, but it would help drain milotic.

It was inevitable, The impact of the wave left the water too unsteady to move quick enough to dodge the attack and Milotic got hit full on, leaving her damaged, but it wasn't too critical. Thank god, I thought it was done for but Milotic held out pretty well Fee thought.
