'What a mess...' Leona thought to herself, and it was times like this she realized she would trade in all of her powers for even a weak healing spell. She was sued to seeing a great deal of people get hurt in her lifetime, and it never made it any easier. Nearly every time, the one hurt always passed due to lack of care, and as such the normally cheerful mutant seemed a bit off her game.

She was worried for everyone involved. It wasn't long before Cyclops came in, and she found herself breathing a sigh of relief. She had escaped major injury herself but for a few scrapes... but a lot of people were really bad off.

She bit her lip a moment. "Guys.... I'll uh... be outside a few minutes..." she finally said. "I'll see you when I can." Her tone was actually a slight hushed and somber, but she gave a soft smile towards Dan and Gwen.

"You two better get better quickly!" she added, and before anyone could really say much of anything the girl had shifted into her housecat form and gone dashing into the halls.

Once outside, she curled herself up beside a large tree. "They'll be okay..." she assured herself. "The injuries were nothing as big as... as..." But she was still worried nonetheless, out of her mind worried. Which was why she came out here. She needed to recompose herself. She hated for people to see her when she was worked up after all. Once she had gathered her mind again, she would go see her friends. So she needed to concentrate on relaxing...

They were okay. They would be fine, the adults would help them. Stop worrying...

Daniel stumbled abit, picking the dry blood off of his face that came from his eyes and he chuckled as he looked around "And just so... you.. you all know.." He staggered abit and laughed "THAT... typically doesnt happen..." In his current state of wobbly-ness he sound like a mixture of william shatner and captain jack sparrow. He went into the med-lab with gwen and felicity looking to the new students "You guys did good... I'm gonna have to talk to headmaster summers, maybe we could all be on the same squad" He laid back on the exam table and looked to gwen with concern "take care of her first doc... I'm fine, just a few quarts low on blood"

Mactaggert started to protest but daniel shot her an absolutely vicious glare which surprised her and she began to work on pulling gwen back to the waking world. "alright lad... but if you drop dead on that table i'll have no one to explain this to the headmaster" Not that it really mattered, at that point a young man with gold skin walked into the med-lab and had a whispered conversation with the doctor before placing his hands on gwen and felicity and healing them completly.

"Elixir... oh good i thought you were still on a mission" Daniel said in abit of a rough whisper and a cough before he was healed as well. He makes the rounds to the others, healing Nate and Clyde before departing with a pleasant nod. Daniel got up and stretched, walking over to a sink he got himself cleaned up and went back to gwens side. "Wake up cutie, Nap times over... and considering the circumstances i dont think we'll be asked to return to class today."

Outside of the mansion Leona in her housecat form could see the source of the earlier explosion they heard in the danger room, a section of ground near the basketball courts had been blown away, revealing a hole that went down many sub-levels.

(I love the xavier institute, one little wikipedia search and you can find just about anything you need to fit a situation.)

"Did you cause that explosion?You looked prottey hurt, like you had been really near it..If you did, you really must have amazing powers..I haven't been here very long, so you problably don't know me..I'm Gabriel." Gabriel said, smiling as he followed Daniel.

"I'm sure you'll be able to control them eventually..There's gotta be a way.." Clyde patted Echo's head gently and smiled cheerfully "Don't cry, okay?"

"nnnnngh" was all Gwen could say, she felt as if she had just awoken from a year of sleep as she saw everyone else, under blood and mostly partially healed.

"thanks for the healing" she said to Mactaggert "This wasn't what I expected from the danger room" she said with a haf gin, g\a full grin hurt too much, her cheek might have been healed but it still hurt like hell. "Holy shit" the explosion had left a huge hole she walked up to it, it was so deep.

Daniel looked to the doctor and then to the hole "doc... does this go down as far as i think it does?" Mactaggert nodded and he lept head first down the hole without another word. He landed at the bottom in a room with a strange device that included a chamber that contained a young man in his mid twenties with short blond hair. "Contact... did you do this?" He looked around and sighed abit before he noticed a few open containers, old genetic material. He sat on the floor and looked to the open containers and sighed sadly.

Gabriel whimpered a bit as he looked down the hole "Geez, that's deep..Oh well..my as well check it out.." he said, sighing as his two largest wings painfully ripped their way out of his back. he jumped down, using his wings to make him fall slower.he landed near Leona and kneeled down near her, not knowing she was a mutant."Oh, how did you get down here, kitty?I'd better take you back up before you get in trouble.." he said, Picking up Leona gently.

Leona looked up at Gabriel with a blink. Who was this? She tilted her head, before crawling up his shoulder and close to his ear.

"Shhh.... it's okay," she told him quietly, whispering in that ear. "I am trying to find out what caused this hole, you know, undercover," she explained. "I'm Leona, and you are?" she asked, tilting her feline head a slight.

It would be an understatement to say it was a rather odd sight to see a cat talk though, for those not used to Leona...

(I meant how he's been talking to the characters FrostHellion's playing for a while now and no responce.:P)

"G-gabriel..Gabriel Aingell." Gabriel whispered, smiling."Are you a mutant girl or a talking cat?"
He retracted his wings and kneeled down where Leona was hiding, setting Leona back down and petting her gently.

Leona purred, contemplating whether or not to mess with his mind a bit. It would be too easy, but she decided for once to play nice with others. After all, he WAS petting her. And she did love to be pet. It was one of her weaknesses in this form.

Right now the first, but usually the second," she replied, her gold eyes half closed with content. "I'll show you what I actually look like later, promise," she added. "Nice to meet you! Come here often?" she teased, still purring.

"I'm still pretty new to the school.." Gabriel said, smiling."And I'll show you my complete powers later.."
He grinned, still petting Leona.

Daniel was abit lost in his thoughts, the containers were opened and the samples were stolen. He looked to gabriel and leona and raised his hand for a moment before he realized who they were and then he stood "sorry guys... Didnt mean to zone out on you... This is... not a place we should be hanging out in" He walked over to the tube where the young man was sleeping soundly and he tapped on the glass sadly before he turned around and began examining the hole
"To answer your previous question mr. angel i didnt make this hole... i could have but it wasnt me... it looks like someone broke in, got all the way down here and then lost all track of subtle when they wanted to leave... Probably happened while we were all training in the danger room" He reached over and scratched leona behind the ears softly "Sorry i took off so fast earlier, its just... i have something of a personal stake in all this. The meat popsicle over there saved my life once and when he went into retirement as he liked to call it i promised i wouldnt let anyone wake him unless it was an emergency..." He realized he was beginning to ramble and about to say too much about the situation so he backed off abit and smiled "lets just get out of here... Come on gabriel... all the fun is upstairs as the moment" a few of the senior staff showed up in the room at about that time, Daniel scooped up leona and flew out of the hole, landing in the yard as headmistress frost walked into the room and put her hand on the glass.

Gabriel spread out his wings again and flew up behind Daniel "Just call me Gabriel..I'm a different Angel..I know there's another mutant like me, but I have diffrent wings.." he said as he landed beside Daniel, rubbing the bony bumps on his back "You'll get to be used soon enough..Just don't rip out without me saying so like last time.." He said, biting his bottom lip as he retracted his wings again.His back was now splattered with his own blood, from bringing out his wings.

"My powers are really a blessing and a curse..It really hurts to bring my wings out, escpecially if I need to use all of them.." He said, sighing.

Fee saw Dan, Leona and the other guy jump in and was rather annoyed not to be able to jump in herself. "yeah, just forget about me" she said loudly a bit agitated. "How's everything down there!" she shouted down the hole .Dang, she really wished she had wings now

Gwen cam up behind Fee. "what is that?" she looked at the hole anxiously. it looked like a something deliberately made it. And Gweniver really wanted to know why

Gabriel nodded "I'm used to it..at least I didn't use all 3 pairs..then I problably would faint by now.." He chuckled nervously "I lose alot of blood when I pull them all out.." He said, sighing.

"It even hurts to put them in, since my skin has to stretch so much to fit them..and the feathers aren't a blast either.." he cringed, rubbing his back "And they make my back look freaky..That's why I wear such baggy clothes..to hide them..It's hard, though.I usually end up looking like i'm wearing girl's shirts, because I usually end up with a whole wardrobe of shirts with no backs, so i don't lose a shirt every time I take out my wings.." He laughed a bit, trying to keep his mind off the pain.

"Yeah..I should keep out the largest pair..I can keep them close to my body, so i don't hit anyone..Not to brag, but I do have quite a wingspan wiht those two..If you don't mind seeing me in pain, and if you're not too sensitive to seeing blood, I can show you all 6.." Gabriel sort of nervously said, secretly hoping that Leona would say no, since he would problably faint of blood loss.

Gabriel smiled "I'll take out my small pair..since I don't think I'll need to fly for a while..I'm too tired to, anyway.." he said, cringing as his smallest pair on his upper back ripped themselves out, which were kind of cute, seeing how they were so small."Ow, they still hurt like hell, though.."

"Both are a bit tender, so be gentle.." Gabriel smiled a bit and blushed "They're quite cute, aren't they?It's kind of embarrassing..They look beautiful when i have my other pair out, though.."

Daniel went back to gwen and smiled abit as he listened to leona and gabriel go on "One of my friends is down there... I'll take you to meet him sometime, even though he's frozen sometimes i can swear i still hear him talking in my head." He watched gabriel unsheath his wings and he flinched abit, he got the same reaction inside whenever wolverine would pop his claws. Something about a mutant power that required shredding skin that unsettled him so greatly. "His name is Trevor Frost, We all called him Contact... He could instantly and permenantly copy another mutants powers just by touching them. After a while he actually managed to extend his powers to non-mutants and enhanced humans... people like thor, the juggernaut (He's only a mutant in the movies. In the comics the juggernauts powers are magically based) and the hulk. He saved me from a horrible death at the hands of a mutant hating mob that assaulted the school in my first year... Alot of students wound up dead but because of him alot more survived." Daniel looked to the doctor and then to gabriel. Doctor mactaggert was busily studying some files and daniel thought it might be a good idea to get them out of the med-lab "Now if you'll all follow me, the next stop on the xavier institute tour of death is the second most deadly place in the school... the cafeteria" Doctor mactaggert rolled her eyes as she chuckled asnd daniel began leading his slowly growing tour group to the cafeteria upstairs.
