Both females' nearly got whiplash from looking up at the male so fast. Ashley latched onto his legs whilst Ada put the charm on and decided just to lean against his chest.

"Leeeon! I love you~--"

"Hey, stop copying me!"

"I'M NOT COPYING."

And he went from angry to worried. And from worried to scared. He could deal with zombies. He could deal with parasite-infected villagers or cultists. But two women--excuse him--a bitch in a red dress and the president's daughter scared him senseless.

"...uh...how about a fennec fox named Wheat Thins?"

The moment he was released from the two death-grips, he was running away.

The two females chased after him, yelling for him to STOP because they needed to talk more. However, once out of breath, they stopped, realized they couldn't on without him and pouted.

"LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEON."

Leon felt bad. Not because he left two lovestruck women behind. But because he was supposed to be protecting Ashley and taking her home and he'd run off instead. However, he waited a few minutes before slowly sneaking back and hoping that they wouldn't attack him when he showed up.

Except, Ashley noticed exactly when Leon stepped foot back into view. She leapt at him, and clung.

"HOW COULD YOU?! (sob) You left me alone! (sobsniffle)."

Ada seemed to have recovered, and was insanely embarrassed and refused to make eyecontact with the male, instead grumbling out a small apology.

Leon patted her on the head awkwardly.

"...I didn't leave you alone. I left you with Ada. It's better than having you wait in the trash bins...loads more safe..."

He had trouble at this point. It was awkward. And he half wanted to run away again. But, he did have a job to do...and they needed to move soon so they could find Akurin...

Ashley released him, wiped her eyes and sniffled. "I think I'll be okay if we start moving now..." Ashley nodded, looking up at Leon with confident eyes.

Ada nodded, looked over at Leon and smiled. "Shall we?"

Leon nodded back to the two women. And then he poked his head out the door on the opposite side of where they'd come in. After making sure the coast was clear, he motioned for them to follow him and walked out slowly and down the hallway.

Ada followed, gun at ready. Ashley smushed herself between them, hiding from anything that could leap out and attack. Ada blinked. Sun was slowly starting to stream through various cracks.

"It's dawn, Leon..." Ada felt a bit relieved. It was better to run around in light than darkness, and a slight pang of guilt hit her. Why was she working with Wesker anyway...?

Ashley let out a soft whimper and pressed closer to Leon.

Leon acknowledged the news with an approving sound.

"That means the parasites can't pop out. Sunlight kills them."

He was totally an expert at what went on with the las plagas. Totally.

Ada didn't even know that! Letting out a slight laugh, Ada threw open a door and walked out into the sun, nervous when there were no Commandos, Ganados or ANYTHING waiting for them. Just silence.

Ashley stepped out from behind Leon and stretched in the sunlight. "The warmth feels sooo good after running around in those dark tunnels for hourrrs."

Except, farther off, Akurin was being led to her so-called 'happiest day of her life' or whatever, as they had called it.

Leon followed suit. He stretched, hoping the stiffness in his back and legs would lessen...which they did.

"...anybody else wondering where our welcome wagon is waiting?"

It had been a few hours 'since their last encounter with any of the Ganados or Commandos. It had HIM worried.

"...where could they be?"

Ada shook her head and leaned against a pole. She was getting exhausted, overtired. Yawning widely, she looked around and her eyes set on something in the distance. Whipping around, suddenly wide awake, Ada grabbed Leon's arms and pointed off in the distance.

"Look!"

Look, indeed. Crowds of Ganados and commandos had come to see something, something that could only be explained as...

"They must be marrying her off."

He'd been surprised when she'd YAWNED...but was even more so when she spun him around. However, once he'd seen what she was pointing to, his surprise was overrun by both panic and blind rage. He opened his attaché case and handed binoculars to Ada and pulled out his rifle so he could get a better look. However...

"...they keep moving around...I can't see anything..."

...so...he did the first thing that came to mind. He climbed up the side of the building to the next available standing space and aimed the rifle from there.

Ada hissed at Leon. "Get down here, they might see you!" Shaking her head, she focused on the middle of them. She vaguely saw Saddler, and then a female. In a dress that looked like she couldn't walk very well in.

"...Well, at least they put her in a nice dress, eh?"

She attempted joking with Leon, hoping to lighten his mood.

Leon wasn't really listening. He was hoping that Saddler would step JUST far enough away from Akurin where he didn't risk hitting her if he shot at him...it was probably asking for a miracle, however. He kept his rifle pointed at Saddler, though.

"...she's too close to him. I can't hit him without chancing hitting her..."

...it infuriated him. He was so close...SO CLOSE to her. And yet he could do nothing.

Ada blinked at him.

"You're an idiot. If you shoot at him now, he's in enough distance to grab at Akurin and snap her neck just like that."

She looked at him a :| face pretty much stuck there.

Leon growled.

"You think I haven't considered that too? She's RIGHT THERE. And I can only SIT here. I can't DO anything. Do you know how...ugh!"

He ran his fingers through his hair compulsively, trying to think. Upon failing to come up with any brilliant solution or spectacular plan, however, he let out a tormented groan and dropped his legs over the edge of the platform/bit of roof he was on and put his head in his hands.

Ada shook her head and hopped up to join him, sitting beside him and attempting to comfort the male.

"What's so wrong about saving her after the wedding?"

There was suddenly loud chanting over in the general direction of the 'ceremony.'

Leon sighed.

"...it's like I FAILED to keep her from being forced into that. I was this close...but I failed. I..."

He was cut off by the chanting and lifted the rifle again to check and see what was going on.

"Leon..don't be so hard on yourself---"

Suddenly there were explosions, much like grenades being tossed into the group. Within moments, the once populated area was full of dead bodies and running Commandos and Ganados. Saddler had run as well, possibly fearing the bride with the grenades. Akurin stood alone, dress torn and a box of explosives in hand. She hopped down off the platform, took a quick look around and quickly trekked over the bodies, disappearing in the darkness of the surrounding buildings.

"...well."

Leon blinked. And stared at the carnage.

"...my GOD, I love that woman." And he started to laugh. "Shall we go find the explosive bride? I'm sure she'll be happy to see us."

They didn't need to find her. Akurin came flying around the corner, and crashed into Ashley, who screamed quickly for Leon before realizing who it was.

The scream was replaced with a cry of surprise and sudden relief.

"Akurin, where were you? Jeez..."

Leon jumped down from the platform, hugged Akurin--accidentally dragging Ashley into it as well--and started laughing with relief.

"Where did you get the grenades? That was awesome! Was that fun? Your not hurt, are you? Where did you keep those things? Do I wanna know? God, when I noticed grenades going off I nearly had a heart attack! I was so worried! They didn't hurt you, did they?"

Akurin practically melted into him, happy to be with the male at this very moment. Sighing into his tactical vest, as Ashley was smushed against his side, Akurin pulled away slightly to look at him.

"Salazar thought I should use something to stand on. Got a box...I noticed something in it. Thankfully, it was grenades. I'm fine. It was fun, I'm not hurt.....Well...I did get hit once or twice, but I'm alright now. Let's get out of here, okay...?"

Akurin moved to turn around, not noticing the sudden, slinking tentacle that was weaving it's way towards her for SOMEWHERE.
Ada shouted, shot and managed to hit the thing out of the way before it hit her.

Akurin whipped around and pressed herself against Leon suddenly, at the voice that came towards him.

Ada motioned for Ashley to leave on the elevator, whom Ashley ran towards and entered, disappearing as it moved.
