"This stuff doesn't taste all that great." Winterpaw said "and it's hard to tell if there's an enemy here or which way home is."

"No problem." Wildpaw said, and padded out of the nursery.she grabbed a nice squirrel for Brightcloud, and a vole for herself.she brought the fresh kill back to the nursery and set it down."here you go." She said, taking a bite of hers.

"Thank you, Wildpaw" Brightcloud said taking a bite of the fresh kill.

"So um this way is home right?" WInterpaw asked pointing her tail in the direction they had come. She looked at maplepaw "we should hurry home."

Maplepaw nodded, "Yeah that's the right way"

Wildpaw finished her vole quickly and licked her paws."I should go now.I still have apprentice duties.I'll come back and visit later, and maybe bring some fresh moss and bedding." She said, giving each of the kits an affectionate tap with her tail.

"Thank you" Brightcloud said, "Good luck with all your training"

Winterpaw made into camp first she waited for maplepaw she spotted her sisters near the apprentice den talking and her mother lieing out in a patch of sunlight relaxing.

"Thank you" Wildpaw said, and left the nursery to find her mentor.

Maplepaw padded into the camp after Winterpaw.

A patrol was reporting to Pineshadow, by the highrock.

Winterpaw followed maplepaw into the medince cat clearing and left her yarrow for them to sort threw before going to join her sisters she stopped sort when she saw foxpaw but continued on her way and sat down next to applepaw who just happened to be the one furthest away from foxpaw.

Foxpaw looked up as Winterpaw walked to her sister's side, then he ducked his head shyly.

Wildpaw padded over to where her mentor was and stood, waiting to be assigned a job.an apprentice's work could never be done, she thought, ic the apprentice was to become a successful warrior.

Pineshadow finished talking to the warriors, "Hello Wildpaw" he said, "Could you go take the elders some fresh kill?"

Wildpaw nodded."right! I'm on it!" She said enthusiastically, and raced to the fresh kill pile.she chose the best bits of fresh kill and brought them to the elders den.

winterpaw avoided foxpaws eyes as well shifting nervously.

When Wildpaw finished with the elders, she reported back to Pineshadow."the elders are all fed, Pineshadow.I changed their bedding this morning.what else should I do?" She asked.

"Your duties are done for today" Pineshadow answered.

Foxpaw got up and walked over to Winterpaw, "H-hi Winterpaw"

"Hi foxpaw." winterpaw said shifting uncomfortably trying to look everywhere but at him.

"Did you have f-fun with Maplepaw?" Foxpaw asked.

"Yeah I learned something usefull though I don't want to be a medicine cat its still usefull." Winterpaw said looking at him excitment in her eyes.

Foxpaw nodded, "Every cat needs to know something about herbs"

Wildpaw bowed her head."thank you, Pineshadow." She said, and padded off to get herself some sleep.

Winterpaw nodded then glanced at her sisters and mentor for help she was begining to become uncomfortable. "Yeah they do that way if something happens..."
