Selena watched as Asheligh opened the present that was from her. I wonder what her reaction will be....

Ashleigh screamed with delight! With that, Yugi hid his head under the cushion, assuming it's THAT series.
"I can't believe that you knew I enjoy his works! Thank you!" Ashleigh said. The title said Arceus and the Jewel of Life. "I been looking for this for AGES!!!!" |
"Do you have to yell that loudly...?" Yugi asked, cleaning his ear out with his finger. "My ears are ringing now...."
"I think that's true for all of us." Bakura said. |
"Sorry" Ashleigh said and grabbed the next present.
"Mum's happy" Yukuzi sighed. |
"I'll say," Melhana replied. "Er, you might want to be a bit careful about that one. It's from Ryuji."
"Oi!" |
Ashleigh opened the present and it revealed a X-Box and games to go with it.
"Thanks Duke!" she said cheerfully. "Is Mum in her english mode again?" Yana asked. |
"Seems so," Yugi said.
"Aw, it was nothin'." Ryuji said shyly. |
There was a few left. Ashleigh picked up the next present. It revealed an envelope with a note attached to it.
Hey Girl! Sorry I can't make it since I'm meeting up some friends. Hope you like the present! Anzu Inside the envolope, there was a family pass to The Nutcracker and attached to that there was another note. P.S I'm the main lead "Thanks Tea" Ashleigh said. |
Yugi took a peek at the note. "Nice!" He said. "Looks like Anzu's career as a dancer is taking off."
"I'll say," Jonouchi said. "Hehe, open mine next!" "Are we going to have to leave the room again?" Bakura asked. Jonouchi flipped him off. "Guys, cut it out." Yugi sighed. |
Ashleigh giggled as she opened Jonouchi's present. It revealed a load of jewellary: necklaces, earings, bracelettes, rings....
'Thank you Joey" Ashleigh said. |
"That leaves three." Melhana said. "Open the next one!"

Ashleigh took the next one. It seems a bit bulky than the others.

Melhana gave Bakura an elbow to the side. "Looks like she's about to open yours." She said.
"Just shut up." Bakura said, turning red and shoving a bite of cake into his mouth. "Okay, both of you are acting out sorts." Ryuji said. "What's going on?" |
"Maybe after when this is over you can tell us" Ashleigh said as she unwrapped the present. It was a snow globe with a snow princess in the middle of it. It made her remember the time that they went to Queenstown for a skiing vacation with the gang.
"Thank you Bakura. This reminds me of home" she said. |
"I'm glad you like it," Bakura said, blushing.

Ashleigh nodded as she took the second to last present. It was smaller than all the rest.

"That one's from me." Yugi said.

Ashleigh opened it to show a box. She also opened it to show a key necklace. Before Yugi could ever speak, Ashleigh kissed him.

Yugi was caught off guard, and turned bright red. "Um, Ashleigh, the others..." he said when she withdrew. He pointed to the necklace. "You can think of that as me giving you the key to my heart, of course you already had it from the start."

Ashleigh blushed.
"I couldn't help it" she said. Everyone laughed. |
"Sounds like somebody else I know..." Bakura said. Melhana turned bright red at the comment.

The last present came from the twins and the signers combined.
"They all didn't make it" Yana explained. Ashleigh nodded, still blushing. |
When Yugi saw the card with the present, he saw with a pang that Yusei's name was missing from it. That's right...he's not here. He thought solemnly. I hope that we can get him back before he's gone for good.
As if sensing the tension in the silent room, as well as Yugi's thoughts, Jonouchi decided to figure out the present. "What is it?" he asked. |
Ashleigh was about to open the present when a kind of a crimson bird flew down and landed on Ashleigh's shoulder.
"Mum, there is a bird on your shoulder" Yana said. |
"That's a pheonix," Melhana said. "Where d'you think it came from?" Selena shrugged in a way that said 'I don't know.'
