Aki nodded.
"I don't know" she said, "I seriously have no idea." Dark Ashleigh's heart skipped a beat. He.....he.....he loves me! He really does love me! she thought. Without a second thought, their lips locked to a kiss. |
Aoi placed a hand on Aki's shoulder. "He'll come back, girl. We just have to keep up hope." She said.
Kaimiri was caught off-guard for a moment before he returned te kiss. He reached up with his good hand and carressed the back of Dark Ashleigh's head. |
"How do you know? The future isn't set in stone" Aki replied.
Dark Ashleigh blinked, then broke off the kiss. "I'm.....er.....didn't mean to to that" she said blushing. |
"It doesn't have to be," Aoi replied. "If there's one thing I've learned from being the holder of the Star's Tauk, it's this; the future can be changed by a person's will." She winked. "Trust me on this."

Aki nodded. Then it turned into a big group hug.
"Thanks guys" Aki said. |
"No prob," Crow replied. "That's what friends are here for, isn't it?"
"No apologies needed." Kaimiri replied. "And you're blushing, by the way." |
Aki nodded.
"So what are we going to do now?" she asked. "I am? Um....er...." Dark Ashleigh couldn't get the words out. |
"We wait...I guess." Aoi replied.
Kaimiri raised an eyebrow. "Yes?" He prompted. |
"For 3 more days?" Aki exclaimed, "I can't wait that long!"
"I loved you for so long. I was scared if you didn't love me back" Dark Ashleigh said,then clutched her head. "So, why did you bring me here?"Ashleigh asked. "Well, I have something to tell you" Yugi replied nerviously. "Oh? What is it?" the 14 year old girl asked. "I...um...never mind" And Yugi qucikly look away. "Please tell me." "I.....I love you" Yugi blurted. Ashleigh looked at him dumbfounded. "You are?" she asked. Yugi nodded. "I have always loved you but i was afraid that you won't love me back" Ashleigh replied. "Well, I do love you back" Yugi replied and walked over. He placed his hand on hers. And if it was like magic, they kissed. |
"It doesn't look like we have much of a choice though," Jack replied.
Kaimiri's brow furrowed. "Love?" he asked. "Are you all right?" |
"You tell me" Rua said, "So are we going to train or what?"
Dark Ashleigh looked up. "It's nothing really" she replied. |
"Easy with the enthusiasm, Rua." Ruka said. "Last time I checked you can't tell one end of a staff from the other."
"It didn't seem like nothing." Kaimiri replied. |
"Well, we can't stand around and do nothing right?" Rua asked.
"Well,it was a scene when those two confessed their love for each other, that's all" Dark Ashleigh said. |
"I know, I know..." Ruka said. "I've been trying to convince Mana to train me in magic, but..."
Kaimiri frowned. "Then you must still have some sort of connection to your light half." He said. |
"But?" Rua asked in the tone of curiostity.
"I guess so" Dark Ashleigh said, then noticed that Kaimiri has yet another box in his hand. |
Ruka sighed. "But she won't let me." She said. "And...I really want to be a mage! Like her and Mahado and Atem!"
Kaimiri handed her the box. "Open it." He said. |
"I think that she thinks you're too young to be a mage at this stage. I asked Mahado the same thing and replied the same thing. There is one other person we could try" Rua said.
Dark Ashleigh took the box. It was a medium size like before. She opened it to show a dark red and black necklace and a pair of dark Ruby earings to match. "You shouldn't have" she said. |
"Who's that?" Ruka asked.
"Melhana." Jack replied. "She might be willing; especialyl since I'm going to be starting advanced training now." "Well, I did." Kaimiri replied. "I would ask you to marry me, but as you can see...I'm a bit indesposed." |
"That's not who I had in mind. I was meaning Ashleigh" Rua said.
"You're crazy. You sure you want to ask her at a time like this?" Aki exclamed. Dark Ashleigh giggled. "Do it when it's time" she said. |
"Yeah, that's my question too." Crow replied. "Do you realize how much that girl's going through right now?"
"I will," Kaimiri replied. |
"It's worth a shot" Rua said.
Dark Ashleigh smiled and put the jewellary on. "I love it" she said with glee. |
Ruka nodded. "Right," she said.
"Good," Kaimiri replied. "Now...I need to rest...badly......" |
"So how's going to call her?" Aki asked.
Dark Ashleigh nodded and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her. I can't believe he's really in love with me she thought. |
"I have no idea," Crow replied.
"We could ask one of the others to call Yugi," Aoi said. "Didn't he go home to check on Ashleigh?" |
"Yeah and......." Rua started to say, but then Aoi's phone rang.
"I wonder who it is?" Aki asked. |
