"I smell trouble already," Sora said.

"Anyone here want to take bets as to who's going to strangle Yusei first?" Selena deadpanned. "My money's on Aki."

"I'm staying out of this." Jack said. "But, why Yusei?"

"Well, that helps." Yusei deadpanned. The first of the demons attacked, and Yusei blocked the clawed hand with his sword.

Aki looked shocked.
"That is what I was going to ask" she said.
"Do you really want to take it out on my superiors?" Ruby resorted.

Yusei heard a shout to his right. "Rikuo!" He called.

"I'm fine," Rikuo said after a moment. "One of these things nailed me on the shoulder."

"Be careful!" Yusei said when he cut down the demon he was facing. "Who knows what's in these things' claws."

"I don't like it," Kiryu said. "What are these angels' plans anyhow?"

"Don't bother; while I was at Yugi's, that same question was asked. No answer that's helpful." Crow replied. "These angels don't seem to like telling anyone their plans."

"Especially Trainiees" Ruby agreed, "Looks like we have to figure this out on our own. Anyway, tomorrow, I will be removing the protective spell that is on Yusei's body. When I do that, you can officially say your goodbyes. Aki, since you asked before you became sick, you can go in before I remove the spell."

"When can the rest of us say our goodbyes?" Ruka asked.

"Take THAT!" Rikuo said, tearing his butterfly knife through one of the demons' throats. It dissolved into dust.

"Nice one," Yusei said as another demon dissolved from his sword. He had impaled it through what he assumed was its heart.

"I'm not exactly a neophite with a knife," Rikuo replied. "Even in the afterlife, there's a few sleazeballs here and there."

"Midday tomorrow" Ruby replied, "it will take a bit of time to reverse the spell."
'And it also depends if Aki lets go of the body' she thought.

Before long half of the demons were cut down, but the rest were still advancing. And Yusei and Rikuo were getting tired.

"This isn't going to end to well, will it?" Rikuo panted.

"I'm afraid not," Yusei replied.

'Summon it,' the same voice of his evil have said. 'You know can't win without it. Summon the dragon!'

Yusei held his head as a headache came about. I can't! I'll hurt someone, I just know it...!

Ruka nodded. Selena's eyes softened. This is hard on everyone, she thought.

"I'm sorry but at this rate, Yusei won't return" Ruby said, "Unless he summons Black Hole Hell Dragon."

'If you want to go home, you have to summon it' the other voice said, 'you need to learn that the entity was a part of you all along.'

"That thing?!" Jack asked. "You mean he has to summon that...that...that demon!?"

But...I can't! I hurt so many people with that dragon! Yusei thought. If I summon it, what if I turn into that creep again?

'Oh, poor little Yusei.' The voice of his evil half said. The voice of the entity. 'Well, suit yourself. You'll never see your friends again. Not for a very long time.

"Hey, Yusei? What's wrong?" Rikuo asked.

"It's the only way. That is because he needs to learn that the entity is already a part of him" Ruby explained.

'The entity is correct sadly. You will never leave untill you summon that dragon. This is your only chance that you can get out of here. Don't worry though, you won't change to that creep' the voice said.

Yusei shook his head. "I..." He said. He took his hands down from his head and took up a fighting stance again with the sword. "I'll be fine."

Not until you summon that dragon. The entity said.

Just shut up. I'm not listening to you. Yusei replied.

"So we were fighting the actual Yusei all along." Aoi said. "If anything that makes me feel worse."

"Does that mean that Yusei will end up...on the bad side again?" Kiryu asked.

"No, he won't" Ruby replied.

---

'You're not fine. Do you want to get out here with your Signer powers and Stardust Dragon or stuck here like a total outcast?' the voice snapped in a way that Yusei could now recognize who it really is.....or close to it in that manner.

Crow breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good," he replied.

---

Ashleigh? Yusei asked. His lack of paying attention to the situation at hand earned him a gash on his face and a demon holding him down with its massive hand. "Agh!"

"Yep and he needs to accept it" Ruby said.

---

'Close. Now summon that damn dragon or you will properly die!' the voice demanded, being more pissed off than ever.

Yusei cried out as the demon pressed down on his back. He could feel at least one of his ribs cracking. He tasted something metallic in his mouth.

"Yusei!" Rikuo shouted in concern.

Summon it! The entity demanded. If you won't summon it, then I'll take over and summon Black Hole Hell Dragon myself!

The demon pressed harder. Yusei's grip on the sword failed. He coughed up blood. He struggled to draw a card from his deck; Black Hole Hell Dragon. I...I'm going to regret this.... He thought. "I---" He yelled out as he felt several of his ribs break, and he coughed up even more blood. He managed to get the card on his Duel Disk before he collapsed.

Black Hole Hell Dragon roared when it was finally summoned.

"Just like Atem and Judai," Selena said quietly.

"It's going to take some time to get used to" Ruby said.

---

'Now Black Hole Hell Dragon' the voice said, 'You know what to do. Destroy those demons!'

"I'll say," Selena said. "Anyway, Sora, how's Judai doing?"

"Much better," Sora replied. "He's awake now, same with Johan. When I left those two were--" a bang from somewhere overhead "--oh gods no...."

"It sounds like they're more than just concious." Daichi said, looking up.

Black Hole Hell Dragon obeyed, starting with the demon that was crushing Yusei.

"What the hell is that thing...?" Rikuo asked.

Yusei took a deep breath and rolled himself over. "Damn..." he croaked. It hurts to breathe....

"Can somebody please check that out?" Max asked.

---

'Don't speak' the voice said, 'Let the dragon do the work.'

You won't get any complaints from me, Yusei thought. The dragon made fast work of the remaining demons before returning to Yusei's side.

"Holy shit," Rikuo said. "Daaaamn...."

Sora sighed. "I'll take care of it," she said. "It's the return of the two Judais...." she said under her breath as she headed towards the elevator, right as there was another thump, a crash of something breaking, and Johan's voice yelling. "Oh shit!"

"I wonder what those two doing?" Ruby asked.

---

Suddenly, a flash of light blinded the two and two shimmery hands laid on Yusei's chest. Yusei could feel his ribs being mended and the metalic taste gone from his mouth. His mark reappeared on his arm.

"I don't want to know." Daichi said. "Heaven only knows what they're up to....."

---

Yusei carefully picked himself up off the ground when the light was gone. "What was...?" He asked.

The next day, the incident of Judai and Johan was still the topic.
"Hey Sora" Ruby yelled, walking to were Yusei lay, "what did actualy happened with those two?"
"Yeah, what did happen?" Aki agreed.

---

Standing there was a shimmering angel which doesn't look anything like Ashleigh.
"My name is Soul of Purity and Light" it said, "And you are now allowed to go back home Yusei."

"They decided to duel....and it devolved into a bit of a roughousing incident when they realized nobody was keeping score...so they essentially tried to deconstruct the game....and broke one of the artificial windows." Sora replied. "Those two are a pain."

"I am?" Yusei asked. "Wait...why do you sound like Ashleigh?"

"That's them alright" Aki said.
"Oh boy, this is not going well. Come on Aki, we don't have much time" Ruby said.

"That is because I'm her Ka. And yes, you are free to go. And take your brother with you too" it replied.

Rikuo shook his head. "I...can't go." He said. "I...I don't have anything to anchor me in that world. But..." He opened his deck case and pulled out a card. "Take this with you."

Yusei took the card and gasped. "This is Lightning Warrior! Isn't he your best card?" He asked.

Rikuo nodded. "But he's yours now. This way, whenever you play him, I'm dueling as well." he replied. He slapped Yusei's back. "Now get going!"
