"Please, don't go through with this aunty Max, Please" Ashleigh said, red tears streaming down her face.

Max turned to the girl, her eyes warm. "Ashleigh, I don't want to have to see your dead body again, or anyone else's for that matter."

Ashleigh broke out of Gabriel's grasp and right into Max's arms.
"Why do you have to do this?" she asked, "why?"

"There's some things that can't be easily explained. This is one of them," Max replied as she stroked the girl's hair.

"And it's her time to go too Ashleigh" Ruby replied, "Once a person revives, they can't return back to the living again once they die the second time."
"It's unfair" Ashleigh replied.

"I'm going to miss you" Ashleigh said, "It's not going to be the same without you."

"I know," Max replied. "But once I'm gone, Yugi will take over, or Kaiba if Yugi won't take it."

Ashleigh nodded.
"Thank you for everything" she whispered.

"No problem." Max said, then faced Kaimiri. "Now, to get Yugi back."

Ashleigh nodded and turned to Gabriel.
"Can you transport me to where Yugi is?" she asked.

"It will be risky. You will be entering the world of the dead." Gabriel replied. "Are you completely sure about this?"

It was several long minutes before the antidote was fully administered. For whatever reason, it couldn't be given with a syringe, which in this situation would've been far easier. And now to wait for it to take effect. Jack thought.

Ashleigh nodded.
"If it's one of the ways to bring Kaimiri down, I have to do this" she replied.

Gabriel paused, then nodded. "Right then." He said, holding out his hand. "Activate your aura."

Ashleigh nodded and took Gabriel's hand and her aura activate. Usually it was a mist, but this time, it was like a flame.
"I'm ready" she said.

Gabriel closed his eyes as his own pale green aura activated. 'I am going to send you to the world of the dead, meaning that you will fade out of this realm.' He said with his mind.. 'As an angel, you will not need to worry about remaining there permanently.'

'Ok, I understand' Ashleigh replied, then turning her head around.
"Goodbye Max, I miss you" she said, then turning her head back and closing her eyes.

Ashleigh opened her eyes to a really rugged path.
"You sure this is the place?" she asked.

Gabriel nodded. "You must continue on your own from here." he replied. "I will remain here to track your aura."

"If it is, why isn't there any scenery? And what's with that door?" Ashleigh asked. This was nothing like the world of the dead.

Gabriel frowned. "That is not supposed to be here." He said. Then he heard something creaking. "Get back! Now!"

'Let the girl come forward' a voice arose, 'I know she wants to find someone and I have an answer.' Gabriel and Ashleigh just look at each other.

Gabriel narrowed his eyes. "Be careful," he whispered to the girl.

Ashleigh nodded and carefully walked down the path. When she reached the end, she stood the door.
'I know to want your husband back, but I'm afraid that he's not in the land of the dead' the voice said.
"Then, where is he?" Ashleigh asked.
'In a place between the world of the living and the world of the dead.'
"Then what are we suppose to do? We can't defeat Kaimiri without him!"
'Anytime now, your husband's dark half will be taken care of but also will be your husband's soul. You must do a soul retreaval to get his soul back.'
"What side are you on anyway?"
'But, I do have someone to help you through this.' Then the door opened.
"YYYEEEEAAAA!!!!!" And a freshman was pushed out of the door and in front of Ashleigh. Following him, was a guy who was totally in blue.
