"I hope that's not soon," Yugi said.
Suddenly the head of the dark angels stood. "I believe you are Yugi Mutou?" He asked. Yugi nodded. "We were sent here by Uriel, head of the Arch Angels. I presume you have the pistol?" Yugi nodded again and pulled the pistol in question from his belt. "Why are you asking?" He asked. "Judai is...wounded, in his magic." The dark angel replied. "He needs someone to kick start his system again, so to speak. That is why you have to shoot him with a bullet of power from that pistol." "Whoah, can't I just use a power transfer?" Yugi asked. "It'd be less of a shock to his system, and safer." The dark angel shook his head. "I'm afraid that isn't possible. I've already tried." he said. "He needs a shock of power." Yugi hesitated, then nodded and gulped. "I hope this works," he said, and pulled the trigger, releasing the bullet of magic. |
"I hope it works" Ashleigh said as the other Arch angels and supreme arch angels arrived.
"Me too" Yuma agreed. |
Judai gasped when the bullet hit, and his eyes flew open. That's when the pain hit, both from his head and from the shot. "What the hell was that for?!" He demanded when he saw Yugi had the pistol.

"You should be thanking him" Ashleigh replied.
"Ashleigh" Lanchia said, flying to her, "Uriel wants to talk to you about your role in all this." Ashleigh nodded and flew with the arch angel to where their kind stood. "You wanted to see me?" she asked. |
Uriel nodded. "I presume you are Ashleigh's inner angel, not Ashleigh herself." It was more of a statement than a question.
"Why do I need to thank you for shooting me?" Judai asked. "Because if he hadn't you would have remained in that coma." The dark angel replied. "We tried a normal power transfer, but it wouldn't take. A bullet with concentrated magic power was the only way to wake you." "Then, thanks." Judai replied. He stood. "What happened to Kaimiri?" "His father ate him." Yugi replied. Judai's blood ran cold as a shiver ran down his spine. |
"That is correct" Ashleigh replied, "but what does that have to do with the current situation?"

"We need Ashleigh herself in this situation, as she is the only one who can summon her ka." Uriel replied. "We need her power. It is the only way that Yusei Fudo, Yuma Tsukumo, Judai Yuki, and Yugi Mutou will defeat Kaimiri's father."

"I'm sure that she's able to battle now since she's finished morning for her aunt's death" and with that, the inner angel stood back and let Ashleigh return.
"What's going on?" she asked, confused. "and why do I feel I have so much power?" |
"You have inherited the power of a Supreme Arch Angel." Uriel replied. "Your inner angel, your angel spirit, has released you from her control she had over you so that you could recover." A blast echoed in the distance, followed by a swearword from Judai. "And your power is needed to combat Kaimiri's father."

"What do you want me to do?" Ashleigh asked, "And is Yugi still dead?"

Uriel shook his head. "No, he has returned from the realm of the dead. As for what you must do, your ka has an interesting ability. It can act as a catalyst to fuse different ka into one, and then seperate them after when you call your ka back."

"It can do what?" Ashleigh exclaimed, "and what else do I have to do?"

"Find a way to destroy the Ultimate Shard." Uriel replied. "If you do not, then Kaimiri's father will win."

"WHAT? You want me to get rid of my only chance of actually returning to this life?" Ashleigh exclamed/

Uriel held up a placating hand. "If--no, when you decide to return to this life, then your heart will be restored, as a human heart instead of a Shard." He said.

"What about my powers?" Ashleigh asked, "will I lose them?"
|
"No, you will not." Uriel replied. There was a shriek, and a crack of a bone. "Now go! Your husband and friends need your help! We will hold off any attacks from here so that you can concentrate on Kaimiri's father."

Ashleigh nodded and flew.
"Soul of Purity and Light!" she called and Ashleigh's Ka appeared. "What is your wish mistress?" it asked. "Combine Yugi's, Yusei's, Judai's and Yuma's Kas together to make an ultimate Ka" Ashleigh replied. "Yes mistress." |
Yugi saw what Ashleigh was about to do. "Guys, hold off! Ashleigh's going to use her ka!" he shouted.
"For what?" Judai asked. "She's going to fuse our kas," Yugi said. "Just, trust me on this." |
Soul of Purity and light shone as Silent Swordsman, Stardust, Neos and Hope fused together to a new Ka.
"So what did I miss?" Ashleigh asked as Yugi once again hugged her. "Is that Guardian of Light, Halo Azure Astral?" Yuma asked. |
"I think you've just gotten us our secret weapon." Yugi said. "Guardian of Light, Halo Azura."
Astral nodded in shock. "I had no idea that this was what Sakura meant when she said it though," he said. "The Sakura we knew...it appears the timeline has come full circle." |
"I know that. But before that I mean" Ashleigh replied.
"You got that right!" Yuma said. |
Yugi planted a kiss on her lips. "I'm glad you're back," He said. "Now, let's do this."
Astral nodded. "Yuma, I believe it's time we use a power of our own." He said. |
Ashleigh returned the kiss. "Yeah. I think I know a way to destroy it" she agreed and flew right into Kaimiri's father.
'I got told to do this. Find a way to destroy which was once my shard. And I think I found a way. Start the attack. The other angels will follow while I focus on the shard. Then I will deliver the final blow, destroying the shard itself. I know it's a risk but you have to trust me Yugi. If it doesn't work, Kaimiri's dad will win' she mindlinked to her husband. |
'I trust you,' Yugi linked back. He summoned Breaker the Magical Warrior to help with the fighting. Yusei summoned Black Hole Hell Dragon, and Judai summoned a monster Yugi thought he'd never see; Infernal Blademaster, an Evil Hero. "What--?"
"Let's just say I've reconciled with my own inner demons," Judai replied. He grinned. "Let's take this guy down!" "Yuma, I think this would be a good time to summon Revise Dragon." Astral said. "Judging as this isn't an ordinary Duel, ignore the conditions." |
