Yugi bonked his partner on the head. "I was wondering what was up. And don't try denying it because I know that look. You're worried about something."

"So you must've gotten a late-night call from Max as well." Selena said. "And Yugi's got his dragon back as well. And no, he's not on the raid party."

"My question is why the plans were changed. Weren't we all supposed to meet you at the Orechalcos HQ for this deal?" Aoi asked. She was already in her uniform; a sharp suit and tie. The suit jacket was black with red cuffs, gold strips on the cuffs that indicated her rank in the Omega Federation, dark blue lapels with red trim, and blue shoulder plates that had the stripes indicating her rank in gold. She had her sword belt on with her katana attached.

"That's what I thought until Max gave me a buzz." Selena replied. The doors opened again and a grumpy, half-asleep Jun Manjoume entered, followed by Judai, also yawning.

Also Yana walked in yawning. She was feeling much better. Max entered her room, telling to go to the meeting room. No reason at all.
"Can you please tell me why I got summoned in here? The three of us wants our beauty sleep" she grumbled.

"I was wondering why we're not in the raid. Kaiba or Joey doesn't know how to use the Legend of Heart card" Atem replied.

"You think I'm pleased to be here?" Jun growled. "I haven't gotten any proper sleep in days! Not since I ended up with a room that's right across the hall from Judai, Johan, Kenzan, and Sho that is."

"Quit whining. You're worse than Kaiba on a bad day." Selena said. "I've been acting as a spy for the Orechalcos goons for the past two weeks, and that place is starting to mess with me."

"You've got to be kidding." Kaiba muttered. "More of this magic crap? And what do you mean, me on a bad day?"

"I mean when you're being a bigger asshole than you usually are." Selena replied sourly.

"I've been wondering about that too." Yugi replied. "It seems that she's a bit reluctant to have us on the front lines right now."

Atem reached for his deck and searched though it then nearly dropped it.
"Yugi, Timeous and the Legend of Heart Cards are gone" he said.

Yana coughed.
"And somebody please explain why these two cards appeared on the bedside table" she asked, showing the "missing" cards: Eye of Timeous and Legend of Heart. The room went silent.

"Shit." Yugi said. There were a few other choice words he wanted to say, but he held them back. Mainly because many of them were Egyptian swearwords that he'd learned from Melhana.

Selena finally broke the silence. "Well, I think this counts as an 'oh shit' moment." She said.

"The thing is, I don't know how to use them I'm way to young to mess around with this kind of thing" Yana replied, "I don't want to do anything with this raid. I'm going to give these back to dad and go back to bed."

"I never said you had to." Max said. She handed Selena a box. "Get your uniform on, Sakura. We're going in soon."

Selena nodded and left to change into her iconic Omega Federation uniform. I hope nothing bad happens while we're pulling this off, she thought.

"Then wy did you send me in here with those two cards without a reason Max?" Yana asked with concern, "Do I have a role in all of this?"

"I don't know that yet." Max replied. "My own powers are weak, but something was telling me that you've got something to do with this. And it was more than just a gut feeling."

Selena reached a bathroom and entered, locking the door behind her. Immedeatly she changed, stripping off the corset, skirt, fishnets, and bolero sleeves and changed into her Omega uniform. She was the only woman who wore the men's saucer cap. She made sure her gun holsers were concealed underneath her uniform jacket. She clipped the Omega Federation seal on her cap and tie, followed by the black leather gloves and Duel Disk.

"You telling me that you have magic too?" Yana asked surprised.
The one that I don't like has magical powers? This keeps getting weirder and weirder she thought.

"More like a mild psychic power. Just about everyone in the Federation knows about that." Max replied.

"You do?" Judai asked. Jun whacked him over the head. "Ouch!"

"Idiot. Don't you ever listen? Max told us that the day we accepted thos badges." Jun replied grumpily.

"We having another dissagreement?" Sakura asked as she re-entered the room.

"What badges?" Yana asked.
Now you done it Jun Max thought sighing.

Yugi, listen, you stay here and I find Yana. And also your wife. She's disappeared....again Atem said as he dashed off, topless of course and not noticing the girls of the federation blushing at the fact that was was topless.

Selena stopped right as Atem ran past. Unlike the girls around her, she didn't turn red. After all, she'd seen him half-naked enough times...

"What're you up to?" She asked.

Jun snapped his mouthg shut, afraid to say anything else. Kaiba explained.

"They're proof of our membership in Omega," He said. He pulled out his own badge and showed it to Yana. "Everyone who's a part of Omega has one, no matter how much of an idiot." At this he gave a pointed look to Jun, who tried hiding behind Judai.

"Hey!" Judai protested.

"I have to grab Yana before she gets hurt. She doesn't know how to use her powers properly. And also, she isn't properly trained as a ferderation solder like you" Atem explained as he kept running.

Yana had a close look at the badge.
"It's not that great in a fashion sence since it's scrached a bit" she said, "Does it provide protecton?"

"In a way." Kaiba replied, stowing the badge back in an inside pocket of his uniform jacket. The badge itself was brass, sheild-shaped, with the image of an ankh superimposed on top of two crossed swords. "It grants anyone with a badge access to Omega's headquarters and any files, up to the person's level of clearance."

"And since Mr. Kaiba is part of the Elite Squad, he has the same level of clearance as I have." Max added. "Because of that, any member of the Elite Squad can take over Omega if I'm incapacitated or killed."

"What do you mean she can't fully control her powers yet?" Selena asked, catching up with Atem.

"Remember, she found her powers while fighting to save Ashleigh. She hasn't learnt how to control them yet" he said, "like all magical beings, mage or not, they have to learn how to control their powers before they do anything else" Atem replied.

"What about dad? Is he part of the Elite Squad?" Yana asked, dissapointed that Kaiba didn't snapped back to her comment about how it looked.

Max nodded. "Which is why I'm not about to let you into Omega. Not because of favoritism, but because we don't allow family members in here. It's enforced even more with siblings and children of operatives." She said.

"Like you with your magic (who knows how long ago...) and me with my Demon Eye." Selena said.

"Exactly. But for us, it took years of training but if Ashleigh teaches Yana the basics, it would take her three years to master her powers. And besides, Yana won't be accepted as a Federation Solder because they won't allow it" Atem replied, "As the rules states, no spouses, sibilings or children are allowed to join if a family member is already apart of the federation....unless....."

"Did you ask mum before she and dad got married?" Yana asked, "Or didn't she know about this place?" Yana became more and more curious about the federation now and wanted to know what it's real aims are, even though she can't be a solder.

After practice and found herself in her bedroom at Kaibacorp's Hotel, Asheigh went though her closet. A Federation Uniform was pressed and was at the back of the closet. A long platted light blue wig with dark blue streaks was also at the back of the closet. She grabbed it and after chanting a spell, she put on her uniform. It was similar to Selena's uniform but instead of the Saucer Cap, it was a Burette with the badge on it. Since her uniforn doesn't have any sleeves (It was customised), she wore two wrist bands. To make sure that Ashleigh wasn't caught out, she slid the armbands off and placed it in her magic bag. Then she pulled out her magic staff. With the wig on, Ashliegh looked in the mirror and sighed. Then after a few minites messing around with the cosplay draw, she pulled a pair of red eye contacts and she put it on.
I hope that everyone still remember my alias she thougth, clutching onto the staff. It said it once belonged to a powerful princess who was also a mage. Thanks to the Millenum Items (which at the time, in the magic bag), well the Tauk anyway, a riot was planned and was will be unlesehed. She looked in the mirror and nearly screamed. A image of her was staring back. It was her dark side.

'Leave her alone' said a new voice. The image was stuck by a lighting bolt and the refection was changed to Ashleigh's.
"Who was that?" she thought aloud as she put on her burette, "Was it an angel who protected me?"

Max nodded slowly. "I wasn't expecting Yugi to propose to her, though."

"Some of us were actually wondering which century he would." Aoi interjected. "Especially when he started turning red every time he saw her...."

Max coughed. "I gave not just your mother, but both of your parents the option to leave Omega when they were getting married, and they both declined." she said. "I was halfway wishing that one of them would have taken it, especially after you were born."

"Speaking of getting married, when are you going to propose to Ishizu already, Kaiba?" Aoi asked. Kaiba glared at her.

"...Shut up." He muttered.

Yana, what she said is half true Ashleigh's voice echoed though Yana's head.
Yana turned around and saw a blue haired woman. Her style was similar to Selena's but her jacket was sleeveless. She wore combat boots and burette on her head. She was holding a mage's staff in her hand.
"Akatsuki Hikari reporting for duty" she said, and stood at attention.....

"What? You mean us? As Federation Solders?" Ashleigh asked. She has been in the country for about a month now and already got offered a proposal. And just a few minutes ago, met Yugi.
"It's a once in a lifetime opptunity" Max said.
"I have a bad feeling about this" Ashleigh said but Yugi nodded.
"I'm in. I been on many adventres saving the world and I would like to keep doing it" Yugi replied.
"Count me out. I still don't know the first thing about this place" Ashleigh replied.
"You sure?" Max asked.
"Yes. I'm not sure if I can even trust you" and Ashleigh walked off. A few minutes later, Yugi and Max searched for the new girl.
"You sure we can find her?" he asked.
"I'm certain" she replied, then she stopped. She saw a girl with blue platted hair in a combat outfit, kicking Ushio's butt with Selena. It was teh first encounter with the man for the girl in blue. After the girls kicked but (the girl pulled out her staff and blasted Ushio when they realised he was controlled), Max walked up with to the girls. She nodded to Selena then looked at the other girl. She didn't know it was Ashleigh under the wig and the contacts.
"What's your name?"
"Um...Hikari. Akatsuki Hikari"
"What would you say if I offered you a position to join the Omega Federation?"

Hikari winked at Yana.
Don't you tell Max it's me she said. Yana nodded.

"At ease, Akatsuki." Max said. "Allow me to introduce the last member of the raid party; Lieutenant Commander Akatsuki Hikari.

Hikari bowed.
"It's a pleasure to meet all of you" she replied, being careful not to reveal her true self. Then the door opened.
"Miss Motou, you're coming back with me. You got a lot of explaining to do" Atem growled. Hikari gave a glance.
"You aren't autherised to be in here Atem" Max started to say but Atem butted in.
"And who is older than you, wiser than you AND is able to have the ability to bring your federation down in an instant" he growled.
"You aren't authorised to be in here without permission" Hikari growled, spotting Selena, "And Sakura should know that by now" she added.

"Can it. I'm part of the Elite Squad, and I'm on the raid party." Selena replied. "And trying to stop a 5000-year-old pharaoh with the temper of a volcano is next to impossible, and I'm not too hot on getting turned into a blob of green goo."

"Hikari wasn't aming it at you but rules are rules Sakura. You should know that no one who is part of the federation isn't allowed in here. I'm sorry but you have to leave the room Atem" Max replied. Atem grabbed Yana's arm.
"Not without Yana" Atem said but Yana yanked herself free.
"No, I'm staying. Even though I'm not qualified to be one of them but they need my help" she said, holding up two cards, "I want to know what you and dad did around my age."

Sakura looked to Kaiba. "Well, for starters, it was made pretty damned clear that none of us were supposed to have a normal life." She said.
