"Don't pull the puppy dog eyes." Ben teased. "That's cheating." He laughed before handing Leane the pumpkin pasty.

"See? He's playing nice." Matthew smiled as he gave Leane's forehead a kiss. "Jack just needed to tighten the leash some." He teased, causing Ben to stick his tongue out and Jack to roll his eyes.

Leane smiled as she ruffled Ben's hair, "Oh alright. Since you're sharing sweets I won't beat you. Yet," she added with a teasing smile and a laugh before biting into her Pumpkin Pasty and leaning back into Matt with contentment.

"Well I feel so much better now." Ben teased, rolling his eyes playfully as he bit into his pumpkin pasty.

"You should." Matthew chimed in. "Now you know you an bribe her with sweets." He laughed.

"What is this? Pick on Leane day?" Jack said, rolling his eyes at the two boys before focusing his gaze on Leane. "I'm on your side, Lee." He smiled warmly.

"At least someone is!" Leane said helplessly as she squirmed from Matt's grasp and started over to sit by Jack instead, "I think I'll make Jack my boyfriend, seeing as how my supposed bestest friend and by current boyfriend are being jerks to me right now," Leane added with a teasing grin at said boys before sitting next to Jack and wrapping her arm around his waist.

"Hey now." Ben laughed. "No need to go stealing boyfriends." He teased as he ruffled Jack's hair. "He's all mine, love. Sorry." He smiled, sticking his tongue out at Leane.

"Well guess I'm going to have to find another gorgeous, hot-headed, talented witch to fall in love with." Matthew sighed as he leaned back on his elbows. "Lee, you're all of those things. Know where I can find another since you would rather have a gay guy over me?" He asked with a teasing grin.

Sticking her tongue out at both boys, Leane snuggled close to Jack and rested her head upon his shoulder, "Sorry boys, Jack's mine now, right Jack?" Leane asked with a teasing wink up at Jack before shifting the teasing grin at Matt as she retorted, "Hmmm, not off the top of my head. Although, I could always give you a picture of me? Would that suffice until you find a replacement to try and measure up to me and take my place?"

"Sorry, Lee." Jack grinned as he gave her a friendly hug. "Wrong gender." He laughed before reaching out to give Ben's hand a light squeeze.

"Guess you're stuck with me after all." Matthew teased as he gave Leane a wink. "I'd much rather have the real you anyways." He smiled warmly.

"Oh very well, take the meanie over me. I see how you are," Leane laughed as she teased and placed a light kiss upon Jack's temple before scooting back over to Matt and wrapping her arms around his neck, kneeling in front of him with a teasing grin.

"I sure don't mind being stuck with you if you're nice to me. You sure you want me? Do you really want me? If so, you're going to have to prove it and make it up to me; I'm quite hurt by your being mean to me," Leane teased with a playful pout upon her lips, "It's not fair to have a universal 'Pick on Leane' Day."

"Well as long as you're sure you can settle with me." Matthew laughed as he gave Leane's nose a soft kiss. "I'm sure I can make it up to you." He said.

"Maybe you two should make up in the Room of Requirements?" Jack sugested with a teasing grin, earning a proud smile from Ben.

"That's my Jackie." Ben laughed as he finished his pumpkin pasty.

Leane laughed as she flashed a mock glare at Jack, "Jack Kentner, I'm shocked! I thought for sure you'd be the only one to stay on my side! Newvine's completely corrupted you," Leane said with a pout before turning to Matt with a small smile. "However, I do rather like the idea of going back to the cabin while we wait for my detention sentence," Leane said softly, knowing very well the boys behind her would have no idea what she was talking about; at least, she assumed they wouldn't catch on.

"The cabin?" Jack asked confused, memories of the cabin they visited each summer running through his mind. "How could you have gone to the cabin?" He asked before his mind seemed to click with realization. "Oh." He said with a proud smile, glad he had figured out Leane's 'code'. "That's what you made the Room of Requirements?" He asked.

"Romantic." Ben shrugged as he laid back against the blanket.

"Original." Jack offered as he took another pumpkin pasty from Ben's bag.

"Maybe we should leave." Matthew said, sticking his tongue out at his two friends. "We'll catch you two at supper." He said as he brought Leane and him to stand.

"Maybe." Ben winked at the couple before turning on his stomach and reading his Herbology book for information on the alihosty plant.

Leane rolled her eyes playfully as she gently nudge Ben's side with her foot and ruffled Jack's hair, "You two are the worst friends I've ever had; but I still love you. We'll see you later; have fun with your paper," she added with a teasing wink at Ben as she stuck out her tongue.

Wrapping her arms around Matt's waist, Leane smiled and placed a tender kiss upon his neck as she led him back down the path, "I have a feeling a dear little prank played upon our dearest friends is in order, what say you?"

"That's horrible, Lee." Matthew laughed as he wrapped his arm lossely around her shoulders. "You're just looking for an excuse to jinx or curse somebody." He teased.

"Tut tut; I would never be so sinister as to do something like that," Leane laughed, "I meant something small is all. But fine, fine, make it up to me by keeping me preoccupied until detention? We can do whatever you wish, as long as I get a few kisses out of the deal," Leane added with a wink as she placed a tender kiss upon his cheek.

Matthew smiled as the path opened up to a grand water fountain with stone angels shooting out water. "Well we know where the path goes now." Matthew grinned before turning to face Leane and catching her lips in a kiss. "Only a few kisses?" He asked between his gentle kisses. "I guess I can settle for that." He teased before breaking the kiss and turning away.

Leane's lips formed into a small pout as she turned Matt back to face her and wrapped her arms around his neck, "I don't get anymore than just a few kisses? Despite being in front of a gorgeous fountain that'll be pretty romantic comes sunset?" Leane teased with a smile as her lips hovered close to his own, "You're really going to deny me more kisses?"

"You only asked for a few." Matthew grinned as he placed his hands on either side of Leane's hips. "I wouldn't want you to feel obligated to kiss me." He teased before leaning forward to give her lips a tender kiss.

"Never an obligation, always a pleasure my love," Leane grinned as she eagerly returned his kisses. "The pleasure is all mine," she said with a laugh as she continued to kiss him, "I love you."

"I love you too." Matthew smiled against her lips as he wrapped his arms tighter around her, simply enjoying how she felt in his arms. Matthew didn't notice as the sun became clouded over until a drop of rain hit his cheek, causing him to break his kiss with Leane.

"I think its-" Matthew started but didn't have the time to finish before the rain came down in sheets, pelting the couple violently. "Bollucks." He chided under his breath as he took Leane's hand and brought her underneath a nearby tree.

Clinging close to him as they ran, Leane frowned as she shivered from the cold, her hair damp and make-up running due to the rain. Turning so that Matt couldn't see her, Leane did her best to try and fix her face without a mirror or a wand, hoping Matt wouldn't notice how horrible she surely looked right now.

Matthew frowned at Leane's reaction to the rain, her back to him. "Lee?" He asked, confused, as he put his arms around her gently and pulled her close. "Sorry about the cold, love." He laughed before pulling his wand out of waist band and making a swift flick in the air. The sweater that should've been lying on his bed shot out of the wand and wrapped itself gently around Leane's shoulders. "Better?" He offered.

Leane blushed as she slipped on the sweater and looked up at Matt with a laugh, "What are you apologizing for dearest? Thank you for the sweater though," she added with a smile as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips, her eyes a bit darker due to the make-up having run a bit. "Don't make fun of me because I look absolutely wretched right now; my make-up ran and I don't have my wand with me," she added with a blush, "I think it fell out of my dress while we were with Jack and Ben."

"Wretched?" Matthew asked, genuine confusion showing on his face. "Lee, you're gorgeous. Like always." He laughed softly as he tangled one of his hands in her now damp hair to give her a tender kiss.

Leane blushed as she returned his kisses. "You have a biased opinion, my love. I'm your girlfriend, you're not allowed to tell me I look wretched even when I do," she teased with a laugh between kisses.

"I've been your best friend for years, Leane." Matthew said, rolling his eyes playfully. "Therefore I'm allowed to tease when you look bad, as if you ever do. You're beautiful." He assured her as he placed his free hand against her lower back to catch her lips in a soft kiss, the rain falling all around them.
