"Don't apologize." Matthew said. "You have nothing to be sorry for." He said, with a certain emphasis on the 'you'. Matthew led Leane to a small, grassy area where he leaned back in the grass, waiting for Leane to let out the last of her temper.

Kicking at the base of the tree with her heels, Leane's eyes filled with tears as she through her back against the tree and slid down to sit at the base, not caring that her dress snagged in the back and would need mending, nor that her hair was getting bark in it and her make-up was running more so than it already was.

"Damn it.. I forgot to ask Ben and Jack about my wand," Leane mumbled to herself as she wiped the tears from her cheeks and looked away from Matt.

I'm sure he'll just go on and pretend nothing happened. He must just be angry with me for stealing away his little sister." Matthew sighed.

And I'm sure he meant everything he said; right down to the implication that I'm a slut for making love to you," a statement which was blown out of proportion by Leane; Josh hadn't actually implied such a thing about his younger sister.
