Andy grinned. She knew the only Sceltie that Belle really knew was Ladvarian.

"Oh, I don't know," she teased. "Vae was interesting. I wouldn't mind having one of her around."

"How about not," Daemon said. Then he paused. "How about you bring that up with Lucivar? See if he approves your idea."

"Because I know better," Andy replied. "You can't seriously think he would say it's a good idea."

"Exactly my point. He'd never agree to it, and if you got one he'd never let you live it down." Daemon smirked.

"Which is why I'm smart enough not to try to find one," Andy replied. She shook her head. "I wouldn't do that to Kaelas, either."

Daemon snorted and shook his head, going back to his poker game.

"Good thing for them I have no interest in getting a Sceltie. A Sheltie, on the other hand, I might if I ever settle down and get a house." Belle chuckled.

Andy rolled her eyes at the pun.

"I have no idea when I'm going to settle down, or even if I will," she said. "If I do, I'm going to make sure it's got a lot of space. Dragons and all that."

"Yeah." Belle was quiet for a minute. "You know what would be really awesome? I think I'd go for a farm. Get cows or something big and just have a lot of room to kinda sit around and relax."

"I would be careful with those cows around my dragons, if I were you," Andy teased. "You might end up with two or three going missing every day."

"Well, I'd have to build up the herd first, but that's half of what they're for," Belle said with a grin. "Although two or three a day every day is a lot. So they'd have to go hunt other things, too."

"Right," Andy replied. "Which is why I would scope out a place on a lake or something. Free fish and all that."

"Yes, but you do have to be careful not to take too much," Belle pointed out. "From any one resource or area. I think my ideal spot would be somewhere near a foresty area and near a lake, so that if I had a dragon or dragons, they could have cows, deer, fish, and possibly to flying to other locations.

"Although here they might speed up the reproduction rate simply because there are so many dragons and other big carnivores here." Belle pondered that for a moment. "That would make sense. Or I'm sure they could just alter the world a little and plop a bunch of fish in a lake or something."

"I'm willing to bet that the programmers can do anything," Andy agreed. "Elsewise, they wouldn't be in charge of the programming."

Belle rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah," she said. "It also depends how much of this world is controlled by the programming. I know the territories are, but I'm pretty sure not even the programmers are entirely sure where the bishi cities are. I think they make those themselves."

"That would make sense," Andy agreed. "But the land itself? I'm willing to bet that's almost all programming."

"Oh, I'm sure," Belle agreed. "They can probably drop animals where they need to as well. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to feed all the dragons and things."

"Yeah," Andy said. "Speaking of dragons and the care and feeding of, I should take mine out. Anyone want to come with me?"

"I do," Belle said, getting up. It had been a while since she'd last gone dragonriding, and she was looking forward to the chance to go again. "I think I saw a lake on the map less than a mile from here, so we should be able to go there and take them fishing."

"Alright," Andy replied. "Drag Daemon along, it's time for him to experience a dragon ride." She grinned. "I'll even be nice and say he can ride the one with the harness."

Belle snorted and shook her head, walking over to the poker game. "Okay, Daemon, come on. You're going dragon riding."

Daemon gave her a look that clearly said he thought she was insane and looked back at his cards.

"One little dragon ride. It won't kill you. Come on, everyone else has gone. Except Saetan."

That made Daemon glare at her but get up, following her over back to Andy.

"If it's any consolation, Kaelas hates it," Andy said as she released her dragons. Both dragons stretched and shook themselves. "If you look close, there are marks in Temmy's harness where Kaelas grabbed on for dear life."

Daemon snorted, now determind to take to riding better than the cat had. Just to spite Kaelas.

"Hey, Temmy," Belle greeted, moving over to the black dragon. "How've you been?"

"I have been very well, thank you," Temeraire replied. He held out a claw to help Belle up. He knew the drill by now. "And you?"

Andy went over to Lien and made her way up to settle herself just behind the fine golden mesh the dragon wore. It worked well enough as a harness so she could hold on to it.

"Pretty good," Belle replied, settling herself. "This is Daemon's first time flying, so we'll see how well he fares."

Daemon moved up behind Belle, holding on to the harness. Just in case. Lucivar might like flying, but he didn't. Riding the Winds was different. This was half-insanity.

"Alright," Andy called once she was sure everyone was hanging on. "Let's go. And no funky maneuvers, Temmy, nobody needs to be dropped into a lake or anything."
