Belle chuckled and plopped down on her bed. "So what else can we do?"
"I have no dea," Andy admitted. "I seem to be at a bit of a loss now."
"Well. We could go see how everything's going." Belle bit her bottom lip. "I don't know what else."
Eclipse moved up behind her quietly, sliding one hand over her shoulder to rest against her collarbone. |
"It's going to be crazy busy outside," Andy pointed out. "Every trainer for miles is going to be filtering in, and I mean, we're probably some of the smaller groups."
"This is true. I think I saw one group of over twenty. But it's hard to tell since all the bishis are out, so unless they're all clustered around their trainer it can be hard to tell who belongs to whom." Belle sighed softly, leaning back. "So I guess we can just hang out here, for a little while at least."
"It's probably best to stay inside for now," Andy nodded. "I don't want to risk getting seperated from one of my boys. It's not like it would be impossible to find him again, but still."
Belle nodded and then paused when she heard thunder. She got up and went over to the window, looking outside. It had started raining, making the trainers and bishis just coming in even more anxious to get inside. "And on top of everything, it's storming."
"Is it?" Andy asked, going to look out the window. "Just great. I'll head out to check on Temmy and LiLi in a bit. They've been caught in the rain before, but I know neither of them particularly likes it." Going back to where she was sitting, she wasn't surprised to find Sess in her seat and promptly sat on him.
Belle snorted at that, then squeaked as Eclipse pulled her down to sit on him. She couldn't help but smile a little. "So, anyone got any good board games?"
"I might have something," Andy replied as she cuddled back against Sess. "I might just have a deck of cards or something, though."
"That's fine," Belle said with a little shrug. "Anything is good at this point."
Andy reluctantly got up and went digging around in her bag for her deck of cards. She knew she at least had that, and it didn't take her long to find them.
"Here, knock yourself out," she said, tossing the box to Belle and going back to cuddle with Sess. |
Belle handed the deck of cards over to her bishis, rooting around in her bag for several moments and pulling out a few movies.
"I think this calls for a movie night," she announced. "Since we have nothing better to do." |
"Movie night sounds good," Andy said, making herself comfortable against Sess. He wrapped his arms around her gently and held her. "What have we for choices?"
"Well, I've got lots of movies. All the Pirates movies, Phantom of the Opera, Alice in Wonderland, both versions, Enchanted, Corpse Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas..." Belle shrugged. "Pick a genre."
"You're making me chose between those?" Andy asked. She considered for a moment. "Phantom, I think," she finally said. "Or Alice. Either one of those."
"Phantom it is!" Belle grinned and got up, putting the DVD in the player and sitting on her bed with Eclipse to watch. "Good thing neither of has a Harry Dresden."
"You wouldn't be able to watch the movie," Thomas said, rolling his eyes. "And with his luck, the whole building would lose power, or something." |
"Yeah, and then we'd have a whole mess of angry people on us about it," Andy added. She made herself comfortable with Sess. "Interesting, yes. Convenient, not so much."
"Very true." Belle settled in for the movie, smiling to herself. Her bishis either played card games or watched the movie with the two trainers.
Andy settled in for the movie, distantly noticing when her bishies drifted in and out of the room. She tried to keep her quiet humming to a minimum.
Belle sang very quietly with the movie, unable to help herself.
Andy grinned when she noticed.
"I'm so glad I'm not the only one," she commented during a break between segments. "I got to do one of Christine's solos back in high school, on the outside. It was wonderful, I always did like high notes." |
"They're so much fun," Belle agreed with a grin. "They're fun to sing, but I'm better at playing high notes than singing them. One of these days I should look into getting a new clarinet. It won't be my baby, but oh well."
"I tried the flute, once," Andy said. "It didn't work out. I don't have the coordination for it. I'm a half-way decent soparano, though. I can hit that high-A in All I Ask of You, it's great. Almost makes me giddy."
"On my clarinet, I can hit an octave above that high A." Belle grinned, very proud of herself.
