Several hands immediately shot up, and more trainers came over to see what all the fuss was about. Belle hid a cough and got all the remaining bishis set up so they could be glomped/hugged/tackled/whatever the nice paying trainer wanted. She didn't plan to continue after sundown, so only a few more hours of torture. But damn she could torture the bishis for a few weeks with this kind of income.

Andy looked at the raised hands and took a quick count.

"I can take a dozen at a time," she said. "Only one of my dragons has a harness to hold on to."

The trainers that wanted to do the dragon rides quickly formed a line, and Belle had Eclipse go off to get her a poster and markers. She kept track of the two lines and quickly scribbled "Bishi glomping and Dragon Rides!" on the poster before she managed to tack it up above her table. The first set of trainers for the dragon rides moved over to follow Andy.

Andy took a quick head count before nodding.

"Alright," she said, "follow me." She led the trainers out to where her dragons were, and instructed Lawrence, who followed them out, to make sure Temeraire's harness was in good condition.

"All lies well," Temeraire said after shaking his harness a bit. Andy gestured for the trainers to climb up and then climbed up on Lien.

Belle watched them leave before she continued keeping track of everything else, making sure the money went into the correct jar and so on. She called for a little break almost an hour later, knowing Andy would be back soon and wanting to give the bishis a few minutes to rest.

Andy easily held onto the fine gold mesh around Lien's neck as she kept an eye on the group of trainers riding Temeraire. After a few circles around the town, she had her dragons land again.

Once all of the trainers made it back down to the ground safely, she walked back with the group back to where Belle was.

"Anything interesting happen while I was gone?" she asked.

"Nope. You haven't missed much." Belle grinned as she let Lucifer get glomped. Again.

"Didn't think so," Andy replied as she sat down. "I think Li Li took some sort of evil pleasure in the fact that I didn't make her carry around a group of shrieking trainers." She shrugged. "I can't help that Temmy has a harness. I can hang on just fine to Li Li's jewelry. Others, not so much."

Belle laughed. "Oh I can imagine that. Temmy's more laid-back anyway, so it's probably good that he's the only one carrying trainers." She grinned.

"Exactly," Andy agreed. "Lien isn't much of a people-person." She paused. "Well, that might not be the best word to use, but you know what I mean."

Belle laughed. "Yes, I know." She grinned. "So, care to sit for a few minutes before taking off again?"

"Sure," Andy replied. She took the chair next to her friend. "You know, I was thinking we should head back into the book territories after this whole technology fiasco is over," she said. "There are a few people I want from Circle of Magic, I think, and maybe a few other series."

"Oh I know I can think of some bishis that I'd like," Belle agreed. "So that sounds perfectly fine to me. As soon as all the tech is up again we'll go."

"Sounds like a plan," Andy agreed. She was already starting to get a bit antsy. She wanted to be back on the road again. She was too used to travelling to be comfortable in town for too long.

"So as soon as the tech comes up we'll head out again." Belle took money from another trainer, letting her go pet Kaelas. "I think the bishis will be glad to go again too."

"Yeah, no kidding," Andy replied. She watched the trainers in line and grinned a bit when she saw one of them recognize Kaelas and Lucivar. "Ah, that one's read the Black Jewels books," she commented to Belle. "She just had an 'OMG' moment."

"I love the OMG moments. Ash and D'Alerian have caused three so far. It's absolutely great." Belle grinned as Ash shot her a withering look, though only a half-hearted one. "Oh you know you like the attention, you big softie." Acheron merely grumbled something to the contrary.

"I think Kennyon is more popular than Bishop, though,"Andy pointed out as another girl stepped forward to tentatively hug Kaelas. "By a lot."

"Well she does have a bunch of books out. I mean she has all the Dark-Hunter books, the Dream-Hunter books, and then she has a whole separate series, plus she has mini novels in a bunch of anthologies..." Belle shrugged.

"I think Anne Bishop has..." Andy trailed off, thinking. "Two in the Landcapes of Ephemera series, three in the Tir Alain series, the three original Realms of the Blood, the three stand-alones in the Realms of the Blood, the two latest in that series... And I think there's a new one due out soon. I think I've read all but two of the Tir Alain books, because they were a little bland compared to the others." She paused. "There's another Landscapes of Ephemera book in the works, too, I think."

"Yeah. This is why I wanted to publish books." Belle paused for a moment. "I wonder what would happen if I finished a story and put it in circulation here? Would bishis from it pop up or what?"

Andy blinked.

"I suppose, if it got popular enough..." she mused. She grinned. "That would be awesome."

Belle grinned. "I like that plan," she said. "I'll have to finish a book soon then."

"Let me know when you do, I'll keep an eye out for a new territory," Andy replied, grinning. "You know that would be absolutely amazing, right?"

"Yes. Yes it would. I could wander around in the territory I created with bishis that I created." Belle sighed dreamily. "Now that would be awesome..."
