Belle followed Andy's example, letting all of her bishis out. Kurama instantly stole the berries back and went off to go fix them, while Hiei trailed along after him. Tomas looked between the two trainers and shook his head.

"If you two get into any more trouble I'm going to have to get into the massage business as well as doing hair," the White Court member said dryly, a little smile twitching the corners of his lips.

Eclipse shot him a look and made shooing gestures at him, shooing him off to go help the others set up camp.

"Come on, boyo," Lucivar said to Tomas. "Leave them be and help me set up tents for the night."

Andy was glad that she had Lucivar to keep things under control. Fighting off a yawn, she settled into Sesshoumaru's side. She was also glad that she didn't have to help set up camp. Now that her adrenaline was wearing off, she was exhausted. She still wasn't hungry, but she knew she would be in the morning. For now, Sess was comfortable and he wasn't complaining about her falling asleep on him.

Tomas nodded and followed Lucivar, helping them set up and get food ready. He, for one, was starving. In the physical food kind of way.

Belle shivered briefly and leaned back against Eclipse again, letting him keep her warm. "Tomorrow is going to suck."

"Why do you say that?"

"Because we have no idea where we are and we may have to go back the other way to find a town." Belle shivered again. "Plus I really want a shower."

Sesshoumaru let Andy sleep on him, one arm around her as she tucked herself into his side. He didn't wake her, since he knew she was exhausted, and he would make sure none of the others woke her, either. He kept an eye on the rest of Andy's bishounen, though it was mostly out of habit. He didn't think anything else would happen, but one could never be too sure.

Eclipse looked over at Sesshomaru when he noticed that Andy was asleep, and silently nodded to one of the few tents that had already been set up. He'd picked up Belle, who was starting to fall asleep on her feet, and was intending on commandeering a tent for her for the rest of the night. She might not fall asleep yet, but she would soon, and Eclipse knew she needed the sleep.

Sesshoumaru nodded back and stood up, gently picking up Andy and making sure not to wake her. Taking her into the other tent that was finished, at least so far, he laid her down on her bedroll and made sure she would be comfortable. Then he quietly left the tent and settled himself against the tree right outside. This would be as good a place as any to keep an eye on things.

The next morning Belle was up before anyone else, gathering a few things to make breakfast with. She was careful to be very quiet, not wanting to wake anyone else up, so she set up a small fire to get some water heated for tea and started making pancakes. She was hungry after skipping dinner.

Sesshoumaru woke from his light sleep when Belle came out of her tent, though he didn't open his eyes or indicate that he was awake. He heard a little shuffling in Andy's tent, but he could tell she was still asleep. She probably wouldn't wake up until a few more people were already up and about. Lucivar would be awake soon, he knew, and most likely Hiei as well. He tried to doze back off again, but wasn't able to.

Within a few hours, most everyone was up and Belle had started serving pancakes and tea to everyone. She wasn't her normal hyper self, but she wasn't depressed either. She was just subdued and quieter than normal.

"Belle?" Eclipse questioned quietly, crouching next to her.

"I'm okay," she said automatically. "Just a little tired still, I guess." She shrugged a bit and flipped over more pancakes to feed to horde. "Go see if any of Andy's want breakfast."

Sighing, Eclipse rose and did as he was asked, going over to Sesshomaru first, since he knew the other demon was awake.

Sesshoumaru heard Eclipse walking over to him and opened his eyes. He was actually surprised that nobody had asked him why he wasn't in a tent, but he was also glad. It wasn't really a question he wanted to answer. Listening carefully, he could tell Andy was awake, since he could hear her trying to get dressed without falling over.

"She should be out in a moment," he said. "I believe she's trying to get her shoes on."

"Mm." Eclipse couldn't help but smile; that scenario sounded very familiar. He looked at Sesshomaru for a few moments. "I was told to ask if any of you are hungry. My trainer is making pancakes and is more than willing to share." He raised his eyebrows, both in incredulity at his trainer and in curiousity as to Sesshomaru's reply.

"Pancakes?" Andy asked as she came out of her tent. "Pancakes sound wonderful. I'm sure my guys would love some." She blinked when she saw Sesshoumaru leaning against the tree. "Sess, were you out here all night again? We have tents for a reason, you know."

"Don't worry about me," Sesshoumaru replied. "I was fine. What about you? Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, I slept fine," Andy replied. "Didn't even feel the ground."

"That's good," Sesshoumaru said.

Eclipse nodded and glanced between the two of them before he went to go tell Belle that she should make more pancakes.

Belle merely nodded and made another batch, starting to cook them silently, staring down at the pan. She'd spent part of the night thinking when she couldn't sleep, and she looked tired. She brushed her hair back out of her face impatiently, leaving a little smear of pancake batter on her cheek.

Eclipse sighed. "Hold still," he murmured, leaning down and cleaning her cheek for her. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Belle mumbled automatically. "Just been thinking, is all."

Andy methodically gathered up her things, trying not to think about what happened the day before. She didn't like thinking about the fact that something was messing with the bonds between her and her bishies, and she had no idea how to fix it. Once her things were packed, she looked around at her bishies. They were all quieter than usual, even Temeraire, who was usually pretty cheerful in the mornings. Sighing, she took out the comb and sat down behind Sesshoumaru.

"Stay still," she said, combing out his hair. It gave her something to do that she wouldn't have to think about. Sesshoumaru obeyed and stayed still, letting her do what she wanted to his hair.

"Breakfast is ready!" Belle called a few minutes later, looking over at Andy and her bishis. Her own bishis were currently working on taking apart camp. Eclipse stood by Belle, watching over her and keeping track of everyone else.

Belle put the pancakes on a few plates, looking over at Andy again. "I can make more if need be."

"Let's see if we need to make more, first," Andy replied, setting aside the comb. She knew Sesshoumaru's hair didn't really need to be combed, but it kept her busy. "If nothing else, I can make more so you don't have to." Taking one of the plates, she sighed when she tasted one of the pancakes. She hadn't realized how hungry she was. "These are really good."

Belle couldn't help but smile at that. "Good. I'm glad you like them." She looked over at Sesshomaru. "You want any, Sesshy?"

Eclipse rolled his eyes. "You know, he might not like being called that."

"It's not my fault his name is too long."

"I have heard worse nicknames," Sesshoumaru replied, taking the offered plate. "I consider myself lucky not to be called Fluffy or other such nonsense."

"Not that we would ever let him live it down if he was," Lucivar interjected, jokingly. Andy couldn't help but giggle a bit at that. Lucivar always knew how to lighten the mood.

Belle laughed a little. "Oh I can imagine," she said with a grin, offering a plate to Lucivar and Lawrence both. "Kinda like Tomas and Toe-moss."

"That is not my nickname!" Tomas yelled from the other side of camp. "And that was all Harry's fault! I had nothing to do with that!"

Andy couldn't help it, she started laughing.

"I think I'll have to track down those books again," she said between giggles. "I forgot just how much I enjoyed reading them." She shook her head a bit. "That's just too good."

Belle grinned. "Ah yes, how we love Tomas for his witty humor, his looks, and the fact that we can tease him relentlessly."

Eclipse rolled his eyes and started collecting plates to be washed, which would happen later, probably when they got to a town and a hotel.

"Only because it's so easy to tease him," Andy agreed. She blinked as she thought for a moment. "I just realized... I haven't actually read a real book since the last Anne Bishop book made its way here, and that was months ago."

"Was it really that long ago?" Lucivar asked, half teasing. "Doesn't seem like it."

"That's only because I was reading your series and had to stop every ten minutes to spaz," Andy retorted, not missing a beat. "Took me twice as long to read that way."

"Oh yes, because a day is such a long time," he replied. Andy rolled her eyes, but grinned anyways.

"Yeah, I remember the last book I read." Belle chuckled. "I was reading a Sherrilyn Kenyon book. His, actually." She jerked her thumb at Acheron. "It was quite fun."

"She kept stopping and asking questions," Ash said with an amused smile. "I didn't think she'd ever finish that book."

"It was rather entertaining, to be honest," Sesshoumaru said. "Every few minutes she would stop, have one of her fangirl episodes, and then continue as if nothing happened."

Andy opened her mouth to protest, then stopped.

"No, he's right," she said. "I think before that, it was a Naomi Novik book. I had to make sure not to read it around Temmy, because I wasn't about to read the whole thing aloud to him. Those are big books."

Belle laughed a little. "Well all mine know that if they want to read a book, they have to pick it up and read it themselves." She grinned and shook her head a little.

"We also know to keep away when she's reading," Lucifer said, moving over to them with his arms crossed. "She has a wicked temper when her precious reading time is disturbed." He smirked faintly.
