Suddenly, a flash of white appeared. Raina gritted her teeth. It was the Lancelot.
He began battle with Kallen while Cornelia attacked Zero/Lelouch. Raina tried to go to his aid but the one she was fighting was skilled. He was one fo Cornelia's honour guard after all.

Kiara gritted her teeth as the guy who she was fighting got in a good hit to her right arm. The Lancelot was now fighting Kallen ahd she was angry that she couldn't help. She attacked again and she caught one of the shoulders.
'Hang on a minute...' she thought. She looked at the knightmare and saw a small stream of liquid coming out of the area she hit. Had she hit a fuel pipe? Must be. She stared at it before an idea hit her. She concentrated on the small stream of liquid and with all her might imagined it bursting into flame.

Nearby, a Knightmare completely exploded. It looked as though the Sakuradite fuel it used had ignited. Raina didn't have time to look closely, though, as she was too engaged in her own fight. He managed to cut off her right arm, but she managed to get in close and used slash harkens. The kngihtmare in front of her collapsed and she got a view of Zero/Lelouch's eject pod going flying. Cornelia had defeated them.
"Retreat!" came Ougi's voice over the radio. "Retreat!"
Raina gritted her teeth and did as she was told.

"Damn it!" Kiara yelled before following the others as they retreated. She looked in the direction that Zero/Lelouch's eject pod had gone and then glanced back at Cornelia; this wasn't over, not by a long shot. She decided to cover their escape a little better and looked around. There were a few random crates lying around so she quickly sent her Geass out and ignited them. They burned a bright teal colour along with a dark purple and one ornage fire. Smoke rose from the burning crates as they retreated. She looked around for Kallen.

Raina circled around the smoke and headed towards round about where Lelouch had gone. She dismounted from her Knightmare and searched, eventually finding him and C.C. at the same time. Lelouch looked shaken, and there was blood on his head. He wasn't wearing his mask.
"This is C.C.," said C.C. into the radio. "I have found Zero, he is unconscious but breathing." She turned the radio off and turned to Lelouch. "This is rare, for you to be so shaken you're unable to give orders."

Raina had dissappeared off to find Zero so Kiara took up the reer of the rest of the group to make sure that they weren't snuck up from behind by Cornelia. She heard C.C.'s voice over the radio and breathed a sigh of relief. At least Lelouch was okay. She hasened her pace along with the others.

"It's not that, my gun's gone," said Lelouch.
"Someone saw your face?" gasped Raina.
"Two people." He pointed to a blood stain on the ground. "The one who shot, and the one who was shot at."
"But who could it have been?" asked C.C.
"I... I think I saw Shirley on the battlefield," said Lelouch carefully.
"Shirley?!?"

Kiara glanced at the others. Most of their Knightmares were pretty beat up, especially hers and she'd noticed that Raina's had taken quite a few hits as well. "Will any of these have to be scrapped?" she asked.
"Hopefully not," Ougi's voice came over the radio. "We can repair most of the damaage and the ones that we can't we can keep in reserve unless we don't have anything else."
"Let's hope it doesn't come to that." Kiara commented.
"Agreed," Kallen put in.

"We'll sort this out tomorrow," said C.C. "Come on, Lelouch."
Lelouch put his helmet back on and the three of them made their way back to the warehourse where the others were waiting. Lelouch went straight back to the HQ with C.C. while Raina stayed behind and looked for Kiara.

"Over here!" Kiara called as she spotted Raina. She hurried over to her friend. "Where were you? I think I saw you come in with C.C. and Zero but when did you meet up with them? Is he alright?"

"Tell you later," said Raina, since Kallen and Ougi and the others were nearby. "Anyhow, we'd best get back. It's a school night."

Kiara groaned at the mention of school but nodded her head in agreement. THey quickly made their way back to where they had stashed their clothes, changed and made their way back to campus. Soon they were back in their room. "Alright,! Kiara said, flopping back on her bed. "What happened?"

"Well, Lelouch's mask fell off while he was unconscious. When he woke up his gun was gone and there was a bloodstain on the ground. So at least two people saw his face," Raina summarised. "I can't think about this tonight, I'm going to bed."

"Agreed," Kiara muttered. She turned off the small desk side lamp and curled up to go to sleep. She was woken up by Raina's oh-so-annoyingly-indestructable alarm clock the next morning. She briefly considered setting the stupid thing on fire before dismissing the thought and climbing out of bed.

*we're gonna have to kill that alarm clock in the end :XD*

The alarm went off. The alarm was thrown onto the floor. The alarm still wouldn't stop. The alarm was stamped on. The alarm shut up. The alarm wasn't broken. Raina was fed up.
She pulled on her school uniform and grabbed her bag. "I swear I can't be bothered with school today. I want to ask Lelouch abotu last night though. I say if he's not in school, we ditch class and go find him."

(Okay! You can bang it against the wall repeatedly with your geass and then I'll set it on fire!)

"I could use a break anyway," Kiara replied. "I mean, if Kallen can get away with it then so can we."

*hehehe yeah... but later. Not now, because we need it to get up in time*

"Lelouch skips class all the time anyway," said Raina, as they made their way to homeroom. "He either sits around doing nothing or he goes out and gambles."

(True but later the clock shall die...PAINFULLLY!!!)

"Do the teachers here even care if we skip or not?" Kiara asked. "I mean, so many people take time off...you'd think they'd do something about it. Oh well, makes things easier for us I guess."

They went into homeroom and immediately saw that Lelouch wasn't there. Kallen was sitting there, fast asleep, while Rivalz and Suzaku chatted. Shirley was also nowhere to be seen.
"That's it, let's go," said Raina to Kiara. "Quickly, before the teacher gets here."

The two quickly made their way back out of the room. They got a few looks but Kiara didn't bother to look back as the managed to exit without being spotted. "Where should we look first?" she asked. "His room maybe?"

"Nah, I don't think he'll be there," said Raina. "He'll be trying to find out about last night, so my guess is he's at the HQ."

"Alright," Kiara replied. "We'll head there then. Should we change first or just go in school uniform and change there? Or will people notice if two students leave school grounds during the day?"

"Let's not bother with BK uniforms," said Raina. "We're not there for "official business" anyway. C'mon, let's just go!"

"Alright," Kiara replied beofre following Raina off campus and heading to teh Black Knight headquarters. It didn't take them too long and soon they were entering the main meeting area.
"Hey!" Kiara called. "Anyone in here?"

A door opened at the top of the stairs and C.C.'s head appeared. "We're up here."
Raina jumped up the stairs and walked in to find Lelouch sitting on the sofa deep in thought.
