Raina yawned and stretched. "I'm sleepy now..."

"Now you're making me yawn," Kiara complained as she covered her mouth. "It's been a long day anyway, I'm going to bed."

"Me too!" Raina's tiredness seemingly forgotten, she jumped to her feet and practically ran off in the general direction of the girls' dorms.

Kiara blinked as Raina dissappeared from sight before she shrugged her shoulders and followed her friend. She'd stopped trying to figure Raina out a LONG time ago.
As she entered the dorm she noticed that the bed side lamp was on and the curtains were drawn. She sighed in relief before flaring at the stupid alarm clock by Raina's bed and changing into her pjS.

Raina slipped into bed and fell asleep very quickly, clutching Yachiru and Kenpachi. However, her dreams weren't all that light-hearted. She couldn't stop thinking about the silver-haired man who could read her mind....

As Kiara settled down with her Toshiro plushie she took a while to fall asleep which was weird since she usually fell asleep pretty quickly. Her mind went back to Mao again and what he'd said. Was she rejecting her heritage? She was fighting for Japan to be freed but she wasn't really embracing her history...
She finally fell asleep with a dark frown on her face only to be awakened (rudely) by the stupid alarm clock.

This time, Raina did the unimaginable. She slept through the alarm.
*dun dun DUUUUUUUN!*

Kiara stared at Raina in complete amazement as she didn't even react to the loud buzzing of the alarm clock. It kept going, getting louder and louder until it was just a continuous stream of noise.
Raina still didn't wake up.
Kiara blinked before going over and smashing teh button of the alarm clock to turn it off. Instead of breaking like a normal alarm clock it just sat there innocently ready for the next day. Kiara vowed to kill the clock before turning her attention to Raina.
"Raina," she whispered in her friend's ear. "Hey Raina, Ulquiorra's outside the door waiting for you."
Before Raina could open her eyes Kiara had dashed into the bathroom and had locked the door behind her before jumping into the shower and starting the water.

Raina leaped out of bed, crossed the room to the door in one leap and opened it, opening her eyes just in time to see the empty corridor. She left the room and ran up and down the corridor (still in her pyjamas) just to make sure he wasn't around.
"ULQUIORRA!!!!!!!" she called at the top of her voice. Well, the other girls needed something to get them up.

After finishing her quick shower (and making sure it was safe to exit the bathroom) Kiara made her way to her bed and grabbed her backpack full of school things. She turned to look at Raina.
"Sorry about taht," she muttered. "I had to say something to get you up! You even managed to sleep through IT!!!" She pointed at the alarm clock to enphesize her point. It sat there innocently on the dresser.

"'ll get my revenge some day," said Raina, rubbing her eyes as she walked into the bathroom to have her own shower.

Kiara rumaged through her back pack to make sure she had everything and cursed as she realised she'd fergotten about the stupid maths asignment they'd been given. She pulled it out and quickly began scribbling answers down while Raina was in the shower.
'I wonder if the students of Ashford would thank the Black knights if we blew up the school,' Kiara thought absently. She stuffed the paper back into her bag, nto caring if it was crumpled or not. At least she was handing in something, even if it was badly done. She couldn't care less right now.

*Isn't it break time now?*

Raina stepped out of the shower, fully awake, and dressed in her school uniform. She grabbed her maths assignment that she had done two nights before (in her very neatest handwriting). Too bad all of the answers were wrong.

(Hey, sorry I cut off on you like that earlier. The bell went so I had to quickly shut down and go...stupid bell...)

As they made their way to classes that morning Kiara kept a sharp eye out for any signs of Shirley. So far so good as she hadn't caught sight of the annoying orangette.

When it was time for Chemistry, Raina waved goodbye to Kiara (despite the fact that she was only going to be sitting a few rows behind) and sat down in her seat. Then, to her surprise, Shirley came in and took her seat next to her.
"Oh hi, I don't think we've met before!" said Shirley brightly. "Pleased to meet you, I'm Shirley Fenette."

Kiara's danger sense went off as Shirley entered the room. SHe watched warily as Shirley took her usual seat beside Raina and she heard the orangette introduce herself. Kiara felt herself breath out a sigh of relief before wincing. Poor Raina. She just hoped her friend would make it through the lesson.

Raina stared at Shirley, open-mouthed. She had just gotten used to Shirley hating her! It had been brilliant! She never had to talk to the girl, or even pretend to like her. Lelouch, what have you done...???
She plastered a smile on her face. "Pleased to meet you, I'm Raina Sa... Baskerville! I hope we can work well together as lab partners! Oh and Lulu's mine."

Kiara was listening closely to their conversation and snorted back a laugh at Raina's use of "Lulu," The teacher then entered the room and all talking ceased as the lesson officially began. Kiara prepared to get bored out of her skull and spent most of the time either doodling anime characters in her note book or glancing back at Raina and Shirley to see if Raina had killed the orangette yet or not.
It was a long period.

While they were doing an experiment, Raina "accidentally" knocked over Shirley's test tube, spilling acid all over her bag.
"Oh, watch out Shirley!" she exclaimed.
"Oh no!!!" Shirley cried. "I must have accidentally knocked it over when I turned my back!"
"Shirley Fenette," said the teacher, instantly by their side. "What do you think you're doing." He held up the broken test tube. "These are not cheap, you know!"

Kiara fought not to smirk as Shirley got in trouble. She knew knew Raina had something to do with it. She looked at her own test tube and frowned. Was this stuff flamable? Probably. She considered setting it on fire for some fun but then dismissed the thought...for now.

"I - I'm so srry sir!" said Shirley, dabbing frantically at her bag with a paper towel.
"I may have been partly to blame, Sir" said Raina humbly.
"No, Baskerville, I saw you, you were nowhere near that test tube," said the teacher. "Fenette, you are now banned from participating in practical activities in Chemistry. Baskerville, go work with Knight and Stadfeld."

As Raina approached the desk Kiara discretely gave Raina a high five (or was it a low five?) under the desk and smirked at her before continuing with the asignment. Class seemed to pass quickly after that and not a moment too soon for Kiara they were leaving chemistry.

"What a tragic accident," said Raina with a completely straight face as they left Chemistry.

"I know," Kiara replied giving a totally fake sigh. "At least if she's banned from experements it means she won't hurt herself." 'Unfortunately' she added silently.

Shirley hurried past them and made her way towards the Student Council Clubhouse. She clearly didn't relaise that Kiara and Raina were headed that way too.
