"Either way you admitted it!" Kiara pointed out before grabbing her school bag. "Come on, if we're late for another class the teachers just might start to keep us after class and I don't think either of us want that. Hopefully C.C.'s managed to sort Lelouch out by now..."

There was a buzz of chatter in the corridors - more than usual. Many people were carrying portable TVs and looking at the screen.
"Raina! Kiara! Did you hear?!" President Milly came rushing towards them. "Suzaku's going to be Knighted!"

"Excuse me?" Kiara spluttered. "You can't be serious!"
"It's true!" Millie exclaimed. "Princess Euphemia was watching the fight between Suzaku, who was actually pioleting that white Knightmare that everyone's been seeing on the news by the way, and the Black Knights and decided that he was skilled enough to be her Knight! Isn't that great!"
"Yeah, fantastic," Kiara replied, trying and probably failing to sound happy. THis wans't good. Lelouch wanted Suzaku to be Nunally's Knight but now he was Euphemia's and she was the Sub-Vice-roy...this wasn't good. She glanced at Raina worriedly.
'olease don't blow up,' she silently thought. 'At least not in the hallway.'

"Suzaku's going to be Knighted?" Raina's eyes shone. "Knighthood... nobility... I could marry into NOBILITY!!!"
"I thought you'd take it like that," sighed Milly. "Although even if you don't have a title, don't you think your family's rich enough already?"
Inside though, Raina was seething. Suzaku had almost lost that fight. If it hadn't been for the reinforcements and Lelouch's hesitation he would've died. So why did he get Knighted? Stupid princess, acting as though Suzaku ahd beaten them!

Kiara sighed with relief as Raina managed to supress her clearly raging emotions and put on her usual act. Good thing Milly didn't notice. "When's the ceremony?" Kiara asked.

"This afternoon," said Milly. "And Nunally's throwing a party later to celebrate, so will you two help out? It's really just pizza and drinks and stuff, but it should be good!"
"Sure, i'll help out!" said Raina. "After all, I've got plans to marry that guy."

Kiara sighed before following Raina and Milly to class. "Really Raina," she chided. "Choose a guy would ya? I mean, last I checked it was you and Lelouch." She was clearly being sarcastic but Milly didn't pick up on it, she was in too good a mood.
"I might as well help out too," she sighed. "Someone's gotta keep Raina out of too much trouble." Milly noticed that Kiara didn't say that she'd COMPLETELY keep Raina out of trouble and grinned at her knowingly.

"Well Lelouch is all right, but he's not nobility," said Raina, giving Kiara a wink behind Milly's back. Because they both knew very well that Lelouch was royalty. "Anyway, if I turn on the charm then SUzaku will fall head over heels in love with me."
"I think he might have a thign for that princess," said Milly.
"Pfff I'm way prettier than her."

Kiara grinned at Raina, she wasn't lying there. Euphemia always seemed to have her hair in the same boring style and she wasn't particularly fond of the colour either...
"Just try not to break their hearst," Kiara advised, smirking at Raina behind Milly's back.

"Anyway, you'd best get to class," said Milly. "I'm off to get things ready for the party."
"You mean you're off to get Rivalz to get things ready for the party?"

"Got it in one!" Milly replied happily before she rounded a corner and broke away from them to do her own thing. Kiara sighed before she and Raina made their way to their first class of the day.

No one was concentrating in class because all anyone could talk about was Kururugi Suzaku. Even the teachers seemed rather distracted, so luckily they forgot to ask for the homework that Raina hadn't done.
There were mixed opinions regarding Suzaku. Most people simply couldn't believe it, that an Eleven was becoming a Knight. A Number had never been chosen as a Knight of Britannia before.

Kiara heard the word eleven being muttered all around her in the hallways and fought back the urge to set the next person who said it on fire. It was unbelievable yes but they didn't need to keep going on and on about it!
Finally classes ended and most of the students gathered in front of a large screen where the ceremony for Suzaku would be shown. Kiara could practically taste the excitement in the air as students gathered to watch Suzaku.

Suzaku was dressed smartly, like a Knight, and a sword was strapped to his wast. He walked up the carpet towards Princess Euphemia, who sat on the throne.
"I'm prettier than her, right?" Raina nudged Kiara. "Right?!"

"Definitely," Kiara muttered back. She watched as Suzaku kneeled in front of Euphemia and the ceremony was underway. Soon he had the symbol of a knight attached to his outfit and he turned around to face the assembled Brittanians, no one was cheering for him, there wasn't even a single clap.
'None of them think he deserves it,' Kiara thought bitterly. 'It's not because he isn't a good piolet, it's because he's Japanese. Those racist-'
Her thoughts were cut off as someone, somewhere began to clap. Kiara turned her head to look back at the screen and saw who exactly it was. She was sure she'd seen him before somewhere, the woman beside him had come to get Suzaku a couple of times, maybe they were co-workers or something?

(I think that's what happened if I remember right, correct me if I'm wrong)

*yeah, Lloyd is the firs tone to clap*

The man didn't seem to even care that he was the only one clapping. Then, General Darlton began to clap too. What a general did was to be followed, and soon everyone in the room was clapping and cheering, although not quite with 100% enthusiasm.
Raina, however, was more interested in the princess. "That dress looks terrible," she was saying. "A jacket like that over a strapless dress? Is that supposed to be a joke? It just makes it look like she has a sag."

Kiara was snickering quietly at Raina's comments while some people around them gave her looks as if she'd kicked a puppy. Raina probably wasn't paying attention to them and Kiara decided to ignore them too.
"Good point," she agreed. "I don't think the colour actually goes very well with either her hair or her skin tone either...then again I'm not much of a judge. I'll leave that to you."

"She would do better to wear something to match her eyes," said Raina. "She's always wearing pale or colourless clothes. And her hair! She's a princess, the least she could do is actually have it neat."

"Very true," Kiara replied, trying to act somber but failing misserably as a smirk stretched accross her face. People around them were giving them scandelous looks, like they were comitting a crime or something. Kiara ignored them. Finally the ceremony was over. She sighed as people began to leave. "I guess the party for Suzaku will be starting soon," she commented dryly. "Oh, what fun this will be..."

"Ah yes, I'd better go up and put on some make up," said Raina. "Gotta turn on the charm if I want to marry that guy. I'll show him how much prettier I am than that little spoilt pampered princess."
She had no intention of marrying Suzaku, of course. She had better taste than that, and despite what people thought, she wouldn't just marry someone for money or a title. But people might guess something was wrong if she didn't act how she usually acted.

"You do that," Kiara agreed half heartedly. "I'll help with things down here. Have fun and try not to go overboard. Oh, and tonight there will be NO drinking! Got it?"
She glared sternly at Raina, not really expecting her words to have any effect but wanting to at least try.

"I don't think Milly's going to have alcohol there anyway," said Raina with a tragic sigh. "After all, it's not just the Student Council, everyone's invited."
She left to go up and apply make up. Even if she had no interest in marrying Suzaku didn't mean she couldn't have any fun with him.

*I love teasing Suzaku because I don't like him and he's so damn innocent*

(I can tell -smirks evily- just try not to scarr him for life YET! Hey, when we wash up on the island will you end up with Lelouch and Euphemia or Kallen and Suzaku or by yourself? Right now I'm considering maybe ending up with Kallen or something...not sure yet)

"That's not necessarily a bad thing," Kiara muttered darkly as Raina made her way back to their room. SHe sighed before helping the others set up and prepare for the party that would start as soon as Suzaku re-entered the school. She could tell that everyone was buzzing with excitement to see Suzaku again, a student of Ashford Academy becoming a Knight! It was unheard of! And an Eleven at that! They couldn't wait to see him again. Kiara for the most part kept her face neutral about it all and helped out where she could until everything was finally ready for Suzaku to arrive.

*well if you end up with Kallen then Suzasku will find out you're a black knight... Although that would work out, because it'll mean that you'll have to escape with the others at the end of the Black Rebellion. I'm going to have no one find out Raina's a black kngiht so she can stay at school and go out with Gino. Raina will end up alone. *

Raina put on some make up and changed her clothes, since she didn't much like the school uniform. She went down to the clubhouse and saw lots of people gathered, while Shirley was trying to carry three plates of pizza across the room. Milly was handing out drinks.
"I now pronounce the party to celebrate the Student COuncil treasurer's promotion to Knighthood open!" said Rivalz, pouring orange juice into Suzaku's cup. Everyone cheered and drank.

(Okay, sounds good. So it's a plan then -grins- can't wait! And THAT is when Rakshata can have the idea to give us a two people Knightmare! If I remember right doesn't Lloyd come in during the party with Nina and tells them all about he and Milly?)

Kiara cheered along with everyone else although not nearly as enthusiastic as the other people in the room. She thought she caught sight of Lelouch in the crowd and made her way over towards him. He seemed to have recovered and she tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention. He started and whirled around. Kiara smirked at him . "A little jumpy there Lelouch," she teased and he glared at her before his eyes wandered over the crowd and landed on Suzaku. Kiara followed his gaze and then her eyes rolled. "Here we go again."
