Suddenly the door opened and the man y=who'd clapped at the ceremony came in, Nina by his side.
"Sorry to break this party up," he said, not sounding very sorry at all. "But I have to borrow Suzaku."
"Lloyd?" Milly stepped out of the crowd.
"Huh?! You two know each other?!" Rivalz burst out.
"Um...yes," said Milly uncomfortably.
"She's my fiancee," said Lloyd.

"Excuse me!" Kiara yelped before she could stop herself. She wasn't that far from the new comers and other people around her were in a similar state of shock. The strange man, who Milly had said was called Lloyd, glanced at her as her call had, unfortunately, been the loudest and smiled. "Yes," he continued. "Didn't any of you knpow?"
Rivalz was practically frothing at the mouth as he stared wide eyed at Lloyd. The sight was actually quite amusing.

"You - you and... and... who is he?" Rivalz stuttered.
"Count Lloyd..."
"EH?! You're a Count?! Wh -wh- wh- what exactly is your relationship?!"
"Like I said, we're engaged."
"Aaaah!" Rivalz held his hands over his ears and yelled. "Nooooo!"
Raina laughed out loud and slung her arm around Suzaku's shoulder. "He's a funny guy."

"Definitely," Kiara agreed. She had moved up beside Raina to get a better look at the now revealed to be a count Lloyd whatever-his-last-name-was.
"You sure hang out with an interesting crowd Suzaku," she commented to him before smirking at Raina.

Suzaku jumped, taken aback by having Raina's arm suddenly around his shoulder. He blushed. "Em, I think I have to go now."
"Ehhhhh? Leavign your own party?" Raina protested.
"We've got to go and meet an embassador coming in to shore by boat," said Count Lloyd to Suzaku. "The Lancelot and Princess Euphemia are coming too of course."

"Right," Suzaku said. He managed to disentangle himself from Raina, with quite a bit of difficulty and blushing, and made his way towards Lloyd. He stopped and turned to face Lelouch who was looking at him. "Lelouch, you wanted to ask me something earlier right? It sounded important."
Lelouch looked caught off guard for a moment at the question before he caught himself and looked back at Suzaku.
"It's alright," he said, his voice not betraying anything. "You should go, it's not that important really."
Suzaku stared at him in confusion for a while before nodding his head and turning to face Lloyd again. "Let's go then." he said.

"Hmph. He chooses that Princess over me again," huffed Raina, crossing her arms.

"If nothing else he's loyal," Kiara muttered as she stared after Suzaku as he exited the room with Lloyd. "Just a shame it isn't to oru side," she muttered quietly so that no one but Lelouch and Raina could hear her.

Lelouch turned to Raina and Kiara. "We're going after them. tell Kallen you've had a call from me and meet me at the HQ."
Raina sighed. "Can't be helped I suppose."

Kiara moved swiftly and found Kallen after a couple minutes of searching and beckoned her closer.
"We got a call from Zero," she hissed quietly in her friend's ear. "We're to meet up at the Headquarters as quickly as we can."
"Got it," Kallen replied quickly and the three made their way out of the hall filled with students. Kiara breahted a sigh of relief as they exited the crowded area, she hated being in areas with so many people. It felt like she was being crushed.

Raina, Kiara and Kallen got on the rail to get to the HQ. There was no one else in the car.
"Maybe if the princess gets killed accidentally in the fight..." Raina was musing.

"I wouldn't complain," Kiara replied. "But from what I've seen we'd probably just encourage Cornelia even more from what Lelouch's said. And a raging Viceroy is the last thing we need."

They arrived at HQ, and everyone gathered into the main warehouse. Lelouch, now dressed as Zero, stepped forward.
"Princess Euphemia and Kururugi Suzaku are heading to the coast to meet with an ambassador. This is our best chance to strike back against the Lancelot. Rakshata has managed to get hold of a submarine, so we shall arrive there before them. Everyone, quickly load the Knightmares on board. The plan shall be discussed on the way."

A loud choruses of agreement greeted his words and everyone scampered off to get ready. Kiara quickly dragged Raina and Kallen off so they could change into their piolet uniforms. Once that was done they quickly started to help the others load the Knightmares into the submarine, it was quite big and looked like it would be able to hold them all relatively easily. Finally the Guren was inside and everything was ready to go.

All members were called into the main area of the submarine, and Zero addressed them all. "Since we have some new additions, I will tell you the official positions. Ougi Kaname is second in command."

Kiara nodded her head at that, it was a good move. Ougi was one of their most experienced members and he'd be great as a second in comand.

(This is hwere he anounces that Kallen is part of the Zero Squad or something right? Or was that another time?)

"Toudou Kyoshiro is in command of millitary forces," Zero continued. "Rakshata, you're head of the research and technological unit."
"Of course," said the woman, leaning against a wall, smoking her pipe.
"Kouzuki Kallen, you are in charge of Unit Zero, the squad under my personal command."
Kallen was happily surprised. "Yes sir!"
Zero then named the other Holy Blades as commanders of other units, and gave a useless title to Tamaki, since the idiot would complain if he wasn't given something. Then finally -
"Kuchiki Kiara, you are in charge of the Special Forces unit. This is also under my direct command. Sasaki Raina will be your second in command."
"Wow, I got a position!" said Raina in an undertone, punching the air happily.

Kiara grinned at Zero before giving a sharp salute. "Yes Sir!" she called before turning to Raina and high fiving. She knew that Lelouch would probably put them on a squad together, they worked well as a team so it wouldn't be a good idea to split them up and if they were directly under him then it'd be easier to relay orders.
"Right," Zero said. "Now begin the preperations to attack. We must be ready when we ready when we are in a position to attack. Today we shall capture the Lancelot and it's piolet, Kururuji Suzaku."

He turned to Rakshata. "Have you finished it?"
"The testing isn't 100% done, but..."
"It'll do," said Zero. "Here's the plan. Princess Euphemia and Kururugi Suzaku will arrive by the docks. They will most likely stay there. We attack the main base, not far from there, and the Princess will most likely send Kururugi out to help. Then I shall appear as bait, and lead him into the middle of the Gefion Disturber Rakshata has created. Units Zero, A and B shall lead the attack. Unit G wil stay with me."

Kiara nodded her head, it made sense. She was looking forward to this. She wasn't the best Knightmare piolet, taht was definitely Kallen's job, but she loved the feeling of battle, it was incredible.
"Does everyone understand their asignments?" Zero called. There was a chorus of agreements. "Then go and prepare."
The room began to empty as people began to shuffle off to their respective positions to prepare for the upcoming fight.

"We get our own special unit!!!!" Raina exclaimed to Kiara, jumping up and down. "Special forces - we're SPECIAL!!! And I get to be SECOND IN COMMAND!!!!!!"

Kiara couldn't help grinning as she stared at Raina as her friend bounced up and down like a kid in a candy store.
"Calm down," she advised. "Use all that energy for the fight." She turned back to look at Zero/Lelouch. "Who else is on our Squad?" she asked curiously.

"Just some of the newbies I've put under your command," said Zero/Lelouch quietly, so that only the two of them could hear him. "They're just if you need assistance in whatever tasks I give you. You'll be my Special Forces, since I'll be relying on your unusual talents for delicate or... different... operations."

"Got it," Kiara replied just as quietly. "So we stick near you during this? Sounds like a plan to me. We should be able to handle Suzaku if he tries something."

"Yes, now head on out. Unit G is waiting for you."
"Yesssir," said Raina, giving him a clumsy salute.
