Soon the three of them were moving again, Suzaku making sure that neither Kiara nor Kallen had a chance to get away. He somehow managed to keep an eye on both of them at the same time and it wasn't nearly dry enough around here for a forest fire to 'accidentally' start so there wasn't a chance for Kiara to distract him unfortunately. She gritted her teeth as they walked between the trees, the many branches providing excelent positions to take cover. If only there was a distraction...

Raina found the waterfall again and quickly washed the sand out of her hair again. That done, she started to climb towards higher ground. She could have sworn she'd seen a light up there earlier...

They'd been walking for a while now when Kiara heard something in the bushes ahead. Thinking that it could be Raina she didn't say anything to Suzaku or Kallen but subconciously tensed as little as possible but still made herself ready to strike. Her eyes widened as she saw that it was Euphemia in her princess dress followed by Lelouch in his Zero outfit complete with helmet.
'How'd she get here?' Kiara thought in surprise, her eyes zeroing in on Euphemia as the princess called to Suzaku. Kallen and Kiara took their chance at his distraction however and while Kallen began to fight with Suzaku Kiara made her way over to Lelouch.
"You okay?" she asked quietly so Euphemia wouldn't hear her.
"I'm alright," Lelouch replied just as quietly and glanced at Euphemia who was staring at Kallen and Suzaku.

Raina was walking through some bushes when she thought she heard something. She crouched down and looked out. Zero was there, holding a gun to Princess Euphemia's head. Kiara, Kallen and Suzaku were there too.
Finally she'd found everyone!
"I'll make you a deal," said Lelouch. "Your princess for my pilots. That sounds fair enough to me."
Well, Lelouch would get the better end of the deal there, thought Raina. Although she doubted that Suzaku would see it that way.

Suzaku stared hard at Lelouch for a moment before nodding his head in agreement. Lelouch released Euphemia and she ran to Suzaku while Kallen quickly made her way over to Lelouch. Kiara heard something in the bushes and her head whipped around. A grin spread accross her face as she saw Raina with her vizor on hiding but she didn't reveal her friend's presense just yet. She turned back to Suzaku.

"Now, Zero," Suzaku brought out his own gun and pointed it at Lelouch. "I will have you punished for your crimes."
Raina concentrated on the gun and made it blow out of Suzaku's hand, landing at Kiara's feet as though a gust of wind had hit it. Suzaku looked at his hand in confusion.

Kiara snatched up the gun and immediately knew that Raina had ahd something to do with it. She leveled the weapon at Suzaku but didn't pull the trigger. Lelouch would not be impressed if she killed him, that was for sure.
"Looks like we're the ones with teh advantage now Suzaku," she said confidently.

(Is this the part where the part of the wall dissappears and then Lelouch and C.C. and Kallen steal the Knightmare with two piolets?)

Raina stepped out to join them, but a second later, a huge symbol appeared on the stone beneath them. It was the sign of the geass. Raina felt her eye burning, and sensed a connection - something related tot eh geass was here. She could feel Kiara and Lelouch as well, experiencing the same feeling, as though they were linked together. Then, the stone beneath them fell downward. They fell with it, and ended up in an underground full of people - Brittanians. And there, in the center of them, was the 2nd Prince, Schneizel.

"Shit!" Kiara cursed out loud as she realised who exactly they had unfortunately run into (or rather fallen into as the case may be). This was not good. She'd been distracted by the feelings that had come to her when the symbol ahd glowed, it had been so strange...but now her head was clear again and if there was one thing she was sure about it was that they needed to get out of here now!
She glanced at Raina and grabbed her hand as they all scrabbled to their feet. People were aiming their weapons at the group but Kiara knew that they wouldn't shoot with Princess Euphemia so close, they wouldn't risk endangering the life of their precious princess would they?

"there's a Knightmare over there!" shouted Kallen, pointing. Sure enough, there was a giant black and gold knightmare, unlike any Raina had ever seen.
"All right, let's go!" said Zero, running towards it. Raina drew her gun and ran after him, back turnedso that she'd see any enemies and be in position to fight them.

Kiara copied Raina and together they fired off shot after shot as they made a desperate dash for the Knightmare. Kiara had to admit that the thing was EXTREMELY impressive! Soon they reached it and as they entered Kiara wondered if they'd all be able to be carried by the Knightmare. It was then that she saw that it was meant to be pioleted by two people.
"That's new," she muttered as she saw that one was for movement and the other was for weapons control.

"Kiara, help me with this," said Zero/Lelouch.
Raina and Kallen kept shooting at the guards coming at them while retreating towards the Knightmare. They both hopped onto the Knightmare's shoulders.

"Alright!" Kiara called. She and Lelouch were now in the pioleting seats, Lelouch was in the one above hers and he was controling the weapons systems. He powered up and Kiara prepared to launch the Knightmare. All around them she could hear shouting and she could see that Kallen and Raina were still fighting. Somehow Raina had managed to keep the vizor on so no one saw her face but in the confusion Kiara doubted very much taht anyone had been paying much attention to what they looked like and more to what they were doing.
The controls around her lit up as power surged into the system and she grabbed the controls.
"You two ready?" she called to Kallen and Raina who were now on the shoulders of the giant Knightmare.

"Yeah, now hurry up and move!" Raina could hear the Sutherlands getting into position outside the save. She wondered if they'd make it...

"R4ight!"Kiara replied. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and opened them again before quickly beginning to operate the huge Knightmare. The set up of the controls was different from what she was used to but she managed to find hat she needed soon enough and the Knightmare was soon ready to go.
"And we're off!" she called, slamming the controls and the Knightmare accelerated forwards.

They managed to get outside into the daylight, but the Sutherlands were closing in around them.
"We aren't going to make it!!!" yelled Kallen over the wind.

"Oh yes we are," Kiara muttered darkly. She glanced at Lelouch as she noticed something. "Hey!" she yelled at him. "This thing can fly according to the statistics, now would be a very good time to activate it don't you think?"
Lelouch nodded his head in agreement.

"Ki-chan, I hate to sound gloomy, but we're gonna die!" Raina called back, pointing her gun desperately at the sutherlands, even though she knew that a hand-held gun would never be able to do anything against them.

"I know!" Kiara yelled back. "Give me a break! I'm not used to piloting this damn thing!" She found the flight controls and quickly activated them.

Suddenly, the Knightmare lifted into the air.
"A Knightmare that can fly?!" Kallen yelled, amazed.
Raina held on tightly, and put her gun down, so that it hung from its strap over her shoulder. She stared around for a second, before standing up, and, holding on tightly, cheering very loudly. "WE'RE FLYING!!!!"

Kiara fought back the urge to laugh out loud at both Raina's reaction and the fact that they were actually flying!!!! This felt so much different from the few times that she'd been in planes. This felt so much better, like she could do anything! It was absolutely incredible!
"Where to now Zero?" she asked Lelouch, turning her head to look up at him.

"I'm contacting Ougi now," said Lelouch. "We're going to meet up with the submarine."
"We did it! We got out!!! And we got a FLYING KNIGHTMARE!!!" yelled Raina, holding on with one hand and punching the air.

Kiara grinned. "There's no way those stupid Brittanians can catch us now," she said, smirking. "Now that we've got this we've gained a huge advantage. I think I heard one of them say that this thing was an experemental Knightmare which is all the better for us since Rakshata can look at it and improve it, make it even better so thos eBrittanian Knightmares won't stand a chance!"
Her eyes caught sight of the Submarine and she pointed it out to Lelouch.

The submarine surfaced and the Knightmare docked onto it.
"We're back!!!!!" yelled Raina, jumping off the Knightmare and running around. Toudou, Diethard, Rakshata, Tamaki, Ougi and C.C. appeared, all looking quite relieved (apart from Rakshata, who had eyes only for the new Knightmare)
C.C. gave Tamaki an I-told-you-so look, which he pretended not to have noticed. Raina smirked and grabbed Ougi in a bear hug.

"My My," Rakshata murmured, staring at the Knightmare. Kiara didn't bother to distract the woman, knowing that it would do no good.
"Welcome back," Ougi said, talking to them all. "We're glad you're all alright."
"Thanks," Kiara replied. She looked down at herself and the pilot suit she was still wearing. "Now I think all of us would like a change of clothes," she said. "I like this suit don't get me wrong but after sleeping in it adn wearing it constantly for this long it's really beginning to feel closerfobic." She DID NOT mention teh little incident with Suzaku, she would take that to her grave and she was sure that Kallen would do the same. Well, she might tell Raina later but only Raina. NO ONE else would EVER know about that!
