"Leave it to me Zero-chan!" said Raina, leaving the room to get her Knightmare ready. She looked over at the other members of the squad. "I hope you all have your purple nail polish on," she said seriously.

Kiara tried to keep a straight face but did nt manage as some of the members of their squad began to shift restlessly at Raina's words. Her mouth was twitching and she was trying desperately not to laugh out loud at the looks of total and utter disbelief and indignation on some of the faces.
"I think you've got them scared Rai-chan," she murmured so that they didn't hear her and Raina was the only one that would.

"You mean you didn't wear it?!" Raina gasped, completely shocked. She lunged forward and grabbed each of the pilot's hands in turn. Only one, a cute girl with dark blue hair, had on the nail polish.
"What's your name?"
"Kiryuu Nanami."
"Kiryuu Nanami you are hearby promoted to third in command! The rest of you!" Raina turned to the others. "Will do as you're told next time!"
"With all due respect, Secoond in command," said one man. "But shouldn't this be the commander's decision?"

They all turned to Kiara with hopeful looks on their eyes. Kiara fought not to laugh at the dismayed and incredulous expressions on their faces. Messing with these newbies was actually quite fun.
"Well..." she drew it out, tapping her chin as if deep in thought before she smirked evily at them. "I'll let your second in comand deal with the promotions for now. Next time I advise you listen to her."
She flashed one of her wickedist smiles at them, her eyes gleaming darkly.
It was official, this was WAY too much fun!

"There, you see!" Raina put her arm around Kiara's shoulders. "Me and Ki-chan work together and think alike... sometimes anyway. So for us to work as a team YOU need to think like US! So you should do what I say! So just this once I'll hand you all out bottles of purple nail polish which I took the liberty of buying earlier. But when you run out, you buy your own. Now get polishing, then get into your Knightmares, team! Nanami-chan, congrats on your promotion."

Kiara fought not to burst into hysterical laughter at the looks of sheer dismay on the guy's faces as they took their own bottle of nail polish.
"Raina," she said when they were gone. "You are more sadistic than me!" She was grinning widely. "Now let's get to the Knightmares and get ourselves some good ones before they['re all taken and we get stuck with the older beat up models."

"I'm not sadistic," said Raina innocently. "I'm doing them a favour! Purple's a lovely colour, particularly on a pilot's nails! Appearances give people confidence, you know!"

"Right," Kiara agreed, still grinning. "Now come on!" she grabbed Raina's arm anddragged her over to the Knightmare frames. SHe glanced at the Gawain again. Damn it was an awesome looking Knightmare. SHe was pretty sure that Rakshata was having a blast toying with the thing.

"There! Those new one's Rakshata brought with her," said Raina, pointing. "Can't remember their names, but they're better than Burai!"

"Gotta agree with you htere," Kiara replied. She stared up at the Knightmares and a smirk crossed her face. "We're gunna kick some serious Brittanian ass in these!"

"Yep," Raina smirked as she thought about Lulu's secret plan, that only the two of them knew. It made her feel special. She jumped into the Knightmare and checked it's systems. It was in good condition, ready to go.

Kiara jumped into her own and began going through the usual pre-tests that she usually did. It all seemed to be in good order and the controls were sleek and very easy to use.
"Everyone to their positions!" Zero/Lelouch's voice boomed out. "Prepare to leave in fifteen minutes time!"
Kiara nodded her head absently and continued to study her knew Knightmare. She wished that she had her own personal Knightmare like Kallen did...

(Oh, just so ya know I looked up Lelouch's name on google. Apparently it means the suspecious one or the shady one and his surname, Lamperouge means red lamp (either that or Lelouch could mean ladle))

"Hey Ki-chan," said Raina over the radio to Kiara. "If we come face to face with that princess can you leave her to me? I want to pound it into her stupid pink head that I don't have bad taste."

Kiara raised an eyebrow, unseen by Raina, and rolled her eyes before answering.
"Sure," she replied off handedly. "I'll distract Suzaku so you've got a clear shot though."

(You know...if he wasn't such an idiot I wouldn't mind being paired with him...iof he wasn't so annoying If only he had a smarter twin or something...)

"Thanks Ki-chan," Raina smiled, even though she knew Kiara couldn't see her.
"All right units, move out," said Toudou's voice over the radio. "We have a safe loaction near Mount Fuji where the SAZ launch will take place. The route is being sent to you all."
Sure enough, a little map with an outlined route appeared on Raina's screen. "All right newbies. Nanami-chan, you follow me, and the rest of you follow Nanami-chan," she said.

(Hmm...maybe. Or he was taken by Brittania as a political prisoner and we find him by mistake at some point in the future and that's how we meet. Could that work? Did you read the thing about Lelouch's name? I got a few good laughs outta that!)

"Let's go," Kiara ordered and their small squad were moving along with the other Knightmares after Zero in his newly aquired personal Knightmare. It didn't take them long and soon they were in their positions, ready to move if need by. Kiara watched as Lelouch prepared to enter the huge stadium like area where the ceremony was taking place.
"You sure you're up for this?" she asked him over a channel that connected him, her and Raina. "This is quite risky you know."

*yes, very amusing. Rivalz has a french name too, doesn't he?*

"Of course it's risky!!!" Raina trilled.
"That's why I have the two of you with me," said Lelouch. "Remember the plan. The whole thing will most likely become a riot, so you'll need to keep your heads."

I think so but I highly doubt it's as amusing as Lelouch Lamperouge (Lulu the pro! -snickers)

"Alright," Kiara replied. "Good luck and try not to get yourself killed."
There was no reply and the channel closed on Lelouch's end. She shighed with annoyance and refocused in front of her. She could see on the screen that Lelouch's Knightmare had just entered the large arena like area. There was a small side screen and she quickly turned it on and flipped to a channel where the opening of the SAZ was being shown. She saw Lelouch arriving and as he exited the Knightmare she could see the happy look on the pinkette's face.
Lelouch then demanded to speak to Euphemia alone and it seemed that everyone held their breathe. Euphemia agreed to this, much to the dismay of the other people around her, and they dissappeared somewhere.
"Get ready Raina," she said over the radio. She made sure her hands were firmly on the controls and waited for a signal to move.

They waited, but Lelouch and the princess didn't come out. Raina started to get annoyed.
"How long does it take?!" she burst out over the radio. Just then, the princess came running out of the building, holding the ceramic gun. Raina nodded happily. Things were going well.
"All those who call themselves Japanese, I have a question for you!" Euphemia annoucned. Raina frowned. "Would you mind dying?"

(Meh, he's no where near as interesting as Lelouch anyways!)

"WHAT?????????" Kiara's exclamation was echoed by a thousand throats. Manhy inside the stadium were stunned into silence and others were looking around in confusion. Some were whispering and crying out at the words of the princess.
It was then that it happened, Euphemia ordered the guards all around the arena to fire. They did so with sadistic pleasure. All around screams echoed. Kiara cursed veciously before opening a channel to the rest of the Black Knights, this WAS NOT the plan!!!!!!
"Do not act rashly!" she barked over the radio.
"That...that..." Kallen's voice was shaking as she sat in her Guren.
"No time for that!" Kiara snapped. "Everyone stay in yoru squads and MOVE! Save as many lives as you can. Squad 1,2 and my squad; take out the guards! Squads 3 and upwards; help get people out of there as fast as you can and deflect as much fire from them as you can. DO NOT rush in blindly! Kallen, try and get close to the stage where all the important dignitaries are."
There was silence for the briefest of seconds while people registered the orders. Kiara's Kicyhiki blood was kicking in.
"Understood," Todou's voice came over the comand.
"Right," Kiara said. "Move out!"
The black Knights leapt into action. Kiara turned to her channel with Raina.
"We're going to find Lelouch," she stated simply. "Come on."

"What the hell happened to HIM?!" said Raina over a private channel to Kiara only, moving her Knightmare to follow Kiara's, while the rest of the squad followed her. "That princess is..."
"Black Knights!!!" Lelouch's voice came through the open channel. "Euphemia betrayed us! Fight the Brittannians and save the japanese!!!"

(-raises eyebrow- all I said what that he wasn't as interesting as Lelouch and he's not as cool either!)

Kiara fought not to roll her eyes at Lelouch's order. What did he think she'd just ordered them to do?
"You heard him!" she called over the radio. "Move it!"
She turned back to the channel with Raina.
"Either Euphemia betrayed us or something went VERY wrong when she was alone with Lelouch. We can get the full story later but right now I think we should handle this."
It was then that she noticed Euphemia, she held a gun and there was blood all over her. Kiara fought back a growl as she saw the pink haired princess.
"You wanna take care of that Raina?" she asked. "I'll keep an eye out for Suzaku."

*yeah it just seemed very... offhand, you know? I LOVES Rivalz-kuuun!*

"With PLEASURE," said Raina, aiming her gun. Unfortunately, one of the fleeing Japanese children got in the way. Euphemia shot him down.
"Princess," she said, turning on the speakers so that her voice could be heard. "Do you know what you've just done? You've angered me - you have committed suicide."
The entire area was chaos itself. There was blood and bodies everywhere, and there were wounded people trying to run. There were innocent bystanders getting caught in the confusion, and right in the middle, a Kngihtmare battle between the Brittannian forces and the Black Knights.
Suddenly a glint of white caught Raina's eye. It was the Lancelot, heading right towards her. She quickly fired her gun so that she could get into position to use her slash harkens. The bullet went straight and hit its target - the Third Princess of the Holy Empire of Brittannia. Euphemia dropped her gun and fell to the ground as dark blood began to appear through the fabric of her dress covering her belly.

*Oh yeah, I killed Euphie :boogie: I thought this would be an itneresting development sicne now Suzaku doesn't know who to get revenge on, because he doesn't know who killed her*

(Yup! That is an interesting development! Should make things very fun for us later!)

As Kiara turned to face Suzaku she was almost sure that she could hear his anguished cry as he saw Euphemia fall through the screen of his lancelot.
She flet a pang of pity for him but forced it down. This was battle, there was no room for pity. She lunged forwards, her slash harkens at the ready to attack.
Suzaku saw her at the last minute and dodged and began to use his swords against her Knightmare. SHe cursed that she didn't have the power that Kallen did but she'd make do with what she was able. SHe fired her machine gun and the bullets sprayed out in an ark. Suzaku jumped high into teh air to avoicd it and she launched slash harkens.
"Now!" she called to Raina. "While he's distracted! Get him from behind!"
She fired more blasts at him, aiming to keep him from noticing Raina's Knightmare for the moment. Suzaku was in a blind rage and he was getting sloppy, his moves more desperate.

Raina launched her own slash harkens at an angle such that the only way to dodge them was to jump straight into the path of Kiara's attack. She smirked as she waited for victory, but stopped when she saw that Suzaku wasn't even dodging. He let the slash harkens hit him, completely destroying his arm and a large chunk of his back, and reached down to hold Euphie. Then, with his new posh float unit, he flew up to the skyship above.
