Kiara raised an eyebrow at Lelouch in surprise.
Milly put a finger to her lips, studying Suzaku intently. He fidgeted under her gaze.
"I don't see why not..." she said finally. "All of you come with me to the council building! We'd better introduce him to everyone else!"

"Does that mean more food?" asked Raina eagerly, following Milly.
"yes, we've got food there! Lelouch is a good cook, aren't you Lelouch?"
Lelouch groaned. "President..."

Kiara smirked at him. Suzaku laughed nervously, things seemed to be moving a little fast for him.
Pretty soon they reached the souncil building and as they entered the meeting room they saw that everyone was there.
"Alright guys!" Milly called. "We officially have a new member! Give a warm welcome to our newest Student Council Member and newest Student at Ashford Academy! Kururugi Suzaku!" She made a grand gesture towards Suzaku who looked uncomfortable and embarrassed.
"H-hey," he managed.
"Very articulate," Kiara commented.

Shirley met Raina and Kiara's eyes for an instant before going completely red and looking away. Raina guessed that she still hadn't gotten over the whole "strip poker" incident.
Nina was hiding behind Rivalz. Clearly she seemed scared of him because he was Japanese. Racist.

*Sorry, but I really hate Nina. She's so pathetic and racist, and suddenly when she meets Princess Euphemia she cares more about her than her own friends and starts comparing them to her*

(I'm sorta neurtal towards her so feel free to bash her if you want to, doesn't effect me much)

Rivalz looked at Suzaku suspeciously, clearly not trusting him because of his Japanese heritage. Kiara fought not to glare at him.
Milly seemed to sense the tension in the air because she stepped between them.
"Hey hey," she said. "Let's just relax okay? Suzaku is our new member so let's make him feel welcome."

The party began again. It was just like the day before. Raina was the center of attention for a few minutes while she showed everyone her juggling act, juggling five apples at once. She winked at Kiara. She was, of course, cheating.

Kiara couldn't help but roll her eyes at Raina. How could she not? As she juggled the apples Kiara considered for a split second making one burst into flame but then thought better of it. The party lasted a good while and Kiara ended up talking to Kallen for a while, getting to know the red head better. Of course they didn't discuss any sensetive information but they still managed to hit it off rather well.
Kiara wondered when their next Black Knight opperation would be. Cornelia would be here soon so she was sure that things were going to get interesting.

Raina finished her juggling act as she caught all five apples and took a low bow. Rivalz and Milly burst into instant applause.
The applause boosted her self-confidence, and she approached Shirley. "Hey, Shirley-san..."
"Y-yes?" It was clear that Shirley didn't want to talk to her.
"Um... I'm sorry if I'v edone something to offend you... you don't seem to like me very much," said Raina, coaxing a fake tear to her eye.
"Oh, um... that's not -"
"It's all right, I'm sorry, I understand exactly why you're upset with me."
"You... you do?"
"Yes, but don't worry, Shirley-san, it won't ever happen again."
"Oh," relief flooded Shirley's features. "Thank you so much."
"Yes, I'll be sure to invite you to play next time. It was horrible of us to leave you out."

Finally the party came to an end and they split up to go their seperate ways. Kiara and Raina headed back to their dorm room. Once the door was shut and the curtains pulled Kiara went into the bathroom to change and then lay down on her bed. Once Raina was finished her nightly rutine and was settled Kiara spoke.
"When do you think Lelouch'll call us?"

"You mean to do terrorist stuff?" asked Raina. "I don't know..."

*What happens next in CG is Milly, Shirley and Nina go off to a hotel on a lake and get taken hostage by the JLF. The Black Knights save them*

(I remember that. Suzaku was there as well in the Lancelot along with that weird scientist guy and his assistant)

Things seemed to settle down for a while after that The buzz taht Suzaku had caused had finally calmed down and now people seemed either neutral towards him or just ignored him and that seemed okay with Kururugi for the most part. The student council accepted him as a member and he was seen around Lelouch quite often. C.C. still ate Pizza and Kallen occasionally ditched school although everyone thought she was sick. Kiara thought it was probably to practice her Knightmare pioleting since Kallen was the best piolet in their group and she'd need to keep it that way. It was night now and Kiara and Raina were in their room when something on the news caught Kiara's eye. She turned up the bolume and listened
"-appears the JLF has taken the hotel hostage. There are an unconfirmed number of hostages inside. There have been no demands made as of yet."

*Lloyd and Cecil. I love them both ^^*

"That's the hotel by the lake that Shirley, Nina and the President were going to!" exclaimed Raina, who was drying her hair after showering. She pointed at the TV screen.

(They're very funny, definitely cool characters!)

Kiara stared at the TV and bit her lip in thought, making a 'hmmm' sound as she did so. This was getting a lot of coverage. Suddenly her phone went. She grabbed it and checked the number. It was Lelouch.

"G-1, G-2, I need everyone at the base immediately." Raina heard Lelouch's voice through the phone, and instantly grabbed her Black Knights uniform.

"Understood Zero-sama!" Kiara quickly disconnected the call and quickly grabbed her own Black Knight's uniform. Gloves, trousers, boots and the jacket. She pulled her hair back to keep it out of the way.
"Ready to go?"

Raina pulled on her Black knights jacket, shorts and boots, and tied back her hair since it was still wet.
"All right, let's go!"

Together the two girls made their way out of the dorm building. As they were leaving them joined Kallen who was also in black Knight uniform and the three made their way off school grounds and to the hide out to receive instructions froM Zero. Kiara shivered with excitement. She could feel the adrenaline beginning to surge within her at the thought of a real confrontation.

The group was gathered at the HQ, watching the TV. Raina saw a shot of Shirley, Milly and Nina being held hostage ont he screen. Next, reporters were interviewing a man who said he was the father of one of the girls there. It was Shirley's father.
"We're not joinging with the JLF," said Zero, when people began to look at him questioningly. "They are nothing but old men clinging to the past. They do not even have a purpose for this, they merely want to show the world that they exist."

Kiara had to admit he had a point. Did the JLF really think that this would get them anywhere? If anything it would set them back as it didn't seem to be gaining them anything and they could be wasting precious resources taht could have been put to much better use. Se frowned as the story continued.
"So," she said, turning to Zero. "What's the plan?"

"If we were to appear at the hotel," said Zero. "It is debateable whether the JLF would greet us as comrades or treat us as an interference, but either way, I doubt they'd be able to pass up the opportunity to meet me. While I speak with the man in charge, you shall rescue the hostages and destroy the hotel."

'It's a good plan,' Kiara decided. 'If we reswcue the hostages it shows us in a more positive light and more people would be open to supporting us, or at least make them less likely to shoot first and ask questions later.'
"Got it Zero," she said, standing from her seat."I supose we leave now then?"
"Yes," Lelouch/Zero replied. "Let's go."

Zero/Lelouch acquired a van from the media, although he didn't say how. Raina assumed he used geass. Everyone bundled into the back, while Lelouch stood on top of it. Ougi was in the front, driving, Kallen next to him.
Raina was right next to Kiara in the back of the van. "This is an adventure, isn't it?" she whispered.

"Definitely," Kiara murmured back. "Just be careful and if you have to use your Geass don't make it too conspicuous. The last thing we wnat is for any other Geass users to find out about us or Lelouch." She'd made sure she spoke quietly enough so taht none of the others in the van bar Raina could hear her. She peered out the front past the shoulders of Kallen and Ougi. "Won't be much longer now," she whispered.

The van came to a halt. Raina guessed that they's been stopped by Princess Cornelia, who was leading the rescue operations.
"I will take revenge for my brother Clovis!" she heard the Princess say.
"Which will you choose, the dead Clovis opr the living Euphemia?" was Lelouch's counter. "I will save Euphemia."
Princess Euphemia was among the hostages? This was news to Raina.

Kiara raised an eyebrow as she heard Lelouch's statement. So, there was a princess captured huh? The JLF must not know this or the situation would be a lot more complicated. She watched as Lelouch faced Cornelia fearlessly, her mind picking up on the fact taht he seemed to know that Cornelia and this Princess Euphemia were close. How exactly did he know that?
