Raina told everyone she was sleepy, so she went up to her room, which she now shared with some random girl she couldn't even remember the name of.
"Hi, Raina, how was your day?" said the girl the second she walked in.
"Mm."
"Hm?"
"Mm."
"Huh?"
"Who are you again?"
"..."
Raina lay on her bed and texted Kiara.
Hey, how did it go. Tell mee what happened plz :) xxx

Back in the hideout Kiara received the text message from Raina and scanned it quickly before replying.
Lelouch got a chance to talk to Rolo (while the kid was pointing a gun at his head). They're after C.C and Lelouch managed to convince Rolo to let us go in exchange for her although you and me both know that he'll never do that. He's got a plan though. I'm not quite sure of the specifics yet but it involves converting Rolo to our side I think. The kid has a geass! He can manipulate our perception of time (or that's what Lelouch said anyway) so he could be really useful. Plus we'll have a mole in their organisation which is a plus!
How's life at Ashford? Has Milly planned anything recently?
She quickly sent the text before flipping her phone shut and setting it on the bed side table before turning off the lamp in her room. She'd just finished the chapter of the book she'd been reading and decided to try to get some sleep.

*but Rolo hasn't joined them yet... Lulu promised to hand over C.C.*

((What I meant was that Lelouch was able to get to Rolo and talk to him and has a plan. I'll just edit it))

Raina got the text and replied instantly. He better have a plan!!! he cant give them Shi!! D: and that dude with the long hair says hes gonna kill ougi etc tomoro - cant let that happen either!!! dont get yerself into trouble kichan, hopefully talk to ya later xxx <3
And with that Raina turned over and tried to go to sleep. But the execution of the Black Knights captured in the black rebellion bothered her more than she let on. She hadn't known any of them in particular very well (apart from Ookami) but they were comrades... she was one of them. She hated the idea of watching them being gunned down by some stuck up Brittannians in purple knightmares.

Kiara got the text the next morning having ignored the beeping of her phone the night before. She'd been tired and couldn't be bothered to check it. She yawned and stretched before quickly getting ready for the day ahead. Once she was washed and changed she made her way out to the main area of the hide out in search of Kallen. Lelouch was no where in sight so Kiara guessed that he was back at Ashford keeping his cover. If they could get Rolo on their side then it would be both a great asset to them and a blow to Britannia. She smiled grimy as she pictured using Britannia's little spy against them. They were going down.
She spent her time preparing herself for when they would rescue the hostages. She spent time in the similators, trying to hone her skills. She knew she was no where near as good a pilot as Kallen was but she didn't intend to get sloppy. She was determined to save them and save them she would.

On the day of the execution, Lelouch left with Rolo for the theatre. Raina guessed he was going to sneak away and do something about the execution, but she couldn't think what. He only had the one Knightmare, and what about Rolo and C.C.?
She joined the others in front of the TV to watch the proceedings, wondering if there was somethign she could do to help. But the Academy was being closely monitored, and even if she herself wasn't suspected of anything, any suspicious activity could alert the Intelligence Agency that she was a terrorist, making her less useful to Lelouch.

*I think I've caught up on stuff... just got to remind myself of a few things. Like what happened in the Black Rebellion etc*

Kiara watched as Lelouch, clothed fully in his zero outfit, prepared to leave. She glanced at the others and saw that they were looking quite nervous. She couldn't really blame them. This was going to be big. Kallen was already in position and now all they needed to do was wait for Lelouch's signal. She was itching to go out there and get their comrads out of those restraints but she couldn't do anything until Lelouch's trap sprung.

Lelouch was challenging Lord Gilford now and she smirked as he spoke. Lelouch certainly did have a way with words, questioning whether evil should be done to rid the world of evil. She knew the answer from Lelouch was a resounding yes, especially when the ground began to shake. It was tarting.

Raina had to hold back a yell of triumph as the ground beneath the Knightmares' feet began to move. The same tactic as in the Black Rebellion. And directly behind the execution ground - the Chinese Federation! As soon as they crossed the line, they were in Chinese territory and the Black Knights would be free to help their comrades.
Even as she thought it, the Black Knights surged forward and engaged the Britannians. What about Rolo though? Surely he must be there... was Lelouch hoping to kill him in the battle?

Kiara yelped in surprise as the ground moved. She'd half been expecting it but that didn't mean she was able to keep her balance any better as everything shook. She watched as Lelouch moved about in his knightmare and then came the misile. She couldn't hear anything but clearly a conversation was happening between Lelouch's knightmare and Rolo's because it suddenly appeared in front of Lelouch, holding the projectile and saving their beloeved leader. Her eyes narrowed but she was soon distracted with the task of helping teh others and she lost sight of Lelouch and Rolo's knightmares in the confusion. As they scrambled over the border she let out a small sigh of relief as they passed into Chinese teritory. They'd done it. They'd were not technically out of reach of teh Britannian empire and if they attacked the Chinese embacy then they would spark an international incident. It was perfect and Lelouch had executed it perfectly.

*It's after this that Suzaku comes back to school right?*

"Woah," said Rivalz, falling back on the couch. They'd all been leaning forward on the edges of their seats unconsciously, transfixed. "He actually stopped the execution!"
"Yeah," Raina breathed. "Whether you agree with him or not, you've gotta admit that Zero is pretty darn awesome."
Nina and Shirley instantly bristled. Well, Zero had killed both Princess Euphemia and Shirley's dad.

((Yeah. If I remember right it's at the end of this episode that we see him approaching Ashford at night time so you can let your character play with him all you want -smirks evily- Suzaku's gunna pay me thinks))

Kiara watched as Kallen embraced Ougi. She knew that the other had been really worried about him. He was like her father figure after all. She watched as Tamaki made a fool out of himself and smirked as she saw some of the others all but tearing off their prison uniforms. Some even went as far as stomping on them. She was tempted to set fire to a few but decided against it. There were too many people and it would seem too strange. She looked to the Vincent. Rolo still hadn't come out of there and she wondered what again exactly what had happened but she'd ask Lelouch later.

Raina imagined that there was a big party going on at the Chinese Federation Headquarters and was very put out that she was missing it. She sent Kiara a quick message, congratulating her on the operation's success, and then deleted the message from her sent history.
Sighing, she excused herself from the others. There was almost nothing worse than the feeling of knowing that a party was happening and not being there. She went outside for some cool air and noticed a figure over at the gates...

((From what I can remember she doesn't like him but she's subtle about it and he's kinda oblivious but I think since her memory was blocked too that he knows she used to be a terrorist so things might be a bit awkward and since she's got her memories wiped (so Suzaku thinks) then you can make her act however you want towards him I think. I think we were high on sugar or something when we wrote some scenes (the bleach party. That was fun!) Um anyway she'll need to act like it's their first meeting. Am I making sense? I feel like I'm rambling...))



Kiara got the text and quickly replied with a "Thank you!" before excusing herself. It really wasn't much fun without her est friend. She didn't do much the rest of the night, just sat in her room practicing her geass, tossing different sized fireballs at things around her and occasionally setting some paper on fire. She wondered if there was a way she could get back into Ashford. There probably was but not as a student. There would be too many chances for someone to recognise her, even if she wore a disguise. No. The best she could hope for was an occasional visit during one of Milly's events. There was no way anyone would recognise her in the chaos that always followed one of Milly's fund raisers or fun events. The girl was truly insane at times.

*I'm pretty sure no one knows she was a terrorist... I think I made it that way so she and Gino could become involved romantically :P*

It wasn't so unusual for people to be out this late. But Raina was bored and was by nature curious. She ran out into the night, towards the gates, ready to jump on the unsuspecting person and demand a reason for them being out past curfew...
And stopped.
"Suzaku?!"
Suzaku jumped. "Raina! You startled me!"
"What are you doing here? I thought you were a Knight of Rounds now!" As far as he knew, she wasn't a terrorist. To maintain the facade she had to be careful to not appear hostile.
"Well while I'm in Area 11 I thought I'd return to the Academy..." Or rather to observe Lelouch, she guessed.
She grabbed him by the arm, a wide smile on her face. "Welcome home then! Come on, Milly and the others'll be thrilled to see you!"

((Oh yeah. I just remembered that she had her memories wiped. I think I need to re-read a little further back. I remember most of it but it's just the little details that're sticking I can't wait for Gino and Anya to get involved! And didn't we decide taht we wanted a two pilot knightmare like Shinkiro for Raina and Kiara?))

*we did. We shall have to mention it for the next military operation. ;) First though we have to have the party/festival to celebrate Suzaku's return. Since Kallen comes along to keep an eye on C.C., maybe Kiara can come too? Have to be disguised though. And finally Raina and Gino can meet <3*

The next day everyone was abuzz with the news - Kururugi Suzaku was now attending Ashford Academy. The Student Council were the only people who still remained and remembered Suzaku from the last year, so few students had had the honour of meeting a knight before.
Raina and Lelouch had to act natural, because it was absolutely essential that Suzaku not know that they had regained their memories. Rolo (who was somehow now on their side) also had to act as if he knew Suzaku - which of course he didn't.
As was typical of her, Milly immediately began planning a party to celebrate Suzaku's return. Raina figured that she just wanted revenge for what had happened with the school festival last year. Not that she was complaining. She liked parties. And there was a chance that Kiara could come...
She sent a text out to her friend the evening before the party: "Milly wants to try and make that giant pizza again... Our CC is bound to want a piece of that and it could be trouble. Wanna come along and help keep her in line? Bring Kallen, and dress up nice so no one knows who you are ;)"

((I can't wait for Raina and Gino to meet! The poor boy won't know what hit him! I can't remember who we decided on for Kiara. Meh we can figure it out later.))

Things had been rather boring around the hide out and Kiara was grateful to receive a text from Raina. When she read it her excitement grew. She could get out of here for a while! She quickly replied.
"Copy that. Keep an eye out for a Yuuki Cross look-a-like" before hurrying over to Kallen adn quickly whispering in her ear. Kallen nodded and they began to plan how they'd get into the school. They'd need to make sure they weren't seen but Kiara already knew what she was going to wear. No one would recognise her.

The following morning she pulled her hair back and wore a brown wig. Next she slipped in contacts. She dressed in a black skirt and a black with white accents coat with knee high boots. She looked at herself in the mirror and smirked. No one would recognise her and all she really needed to worry about was the student council since the other students had been too scared to come back. What weaklings.

She met kallen and C.C. near the entrance to the ide out and the three of them made theri way to Ahshfford Academy, being careful to make sure C.C. wasn't spotted. Her green hair was a beacon to those that knew who she was.

The party, which was now much more of a festival, was o far a major success. All sorts of events were going on, and Raina was really enjoying herself. All she needed now was her best friend and everything would be perfect. Well, it would also help if the Intelligence Agency wasn't around. According to Lelouch, he had most of them under his control. The only one who wasn't was Villetta, as he'd used his geass on her already. So she just had to watch herself around the gym teacher and Suzaku.
Raina headed towards the gates and scanned the crowd for, as Kiara had texted, a Yuuki Cross lookalike. Not looking where she was going, she ended up bumping head-first into someone.
Not just someone. A tall blond someone. A tall, blond hot someone.

Kiara split off from Kallen and C.C. to find Raina. So far so good. No one had pointed at her and yelled "Terrorist" so she figured that her disguise was working fine. As she entered the gates she just caught sight of Raina before a tall person with blond hair blocked her view. She shifted and saw that Raina and the blond person had just bumped into each other. She decided to hang back for a moment to watch it. She could now see taht the person Raina had bumped into was a guy and he was quite easy on the eyes. Near by a pink haired girl was holding a camera and looking towards the blond but not going to him. She was clearly looking at him though and she had a camera, or what looked like a camera anyway, in her hands. Maybe she was a photographer Milly hired? No she didn't seem like it and Milly hadn't done that before. She shrugged and turned her attention back to Raina and the blond.

"Ahh, sorry, I was looking for Yuuki Cross," said Raina, eyes locking with the tall handsome stranger. He must have been about her age, but he wasn't a student here. He wasn't Japanese, she could tell. Definitely a Britannian, although she couldn't tell from where in Britannia he was from.
The guy laughed. "Hey don't worry about it. Wait, Yuuki Cross?" He had an easy smile and a contagious laugh.
"Yes. I heard she was coming here and I've always wanted to meet her."
"I don't blame you. It's not every day you meet a pureblood vampire princess."
"I guess today is special then," said Raina with a sly smile.
He looked her up and down, still grinning. "Yes, I suppose it is."
They were interrupted by a click and a little tune as the pink-haired girl who stood near the blond guy took a picture.
"Don't mind her," he said. "She likes doing that. Oh, I do believe I see a Yuuki Cross over there!"
Raina followed his gaze and her face lit up as she saw Kiara. "Sorry, excuse me," she said, and then sprinted towards her friend, leaping into a glomp.

"Oof!" was the only nise Kiara was able to get out as she was tackled by Raina. She nearly fell to the ground but just managed to keep her balance by turnins so taht they went around in a kind of half circle. "Nice to see you too Raina. I think you're crushing my ribs...can you maybe losen up a bit?"
The blond boy from earlier was walking towards them with teh pink haired girl trailing behind. He had a grin on his face that, if it got any wider, would reach his ears. He looked like a pretty easy going kinda guy although she thought she recognised his face from somewhere but she couldn't place it...The camera in the girl's hands clicked and Kiara guessed that she'd just taken a picture. She gave the girl a slight glare before trying to extricate herself from her friend.

"Glad you could make it, Ki," said Raina, letting her friend go. "It's been boring here ever since you left school!"
She had to be careful what she said in public. Luckily Villetta was helping the Swimming Club with their cafe and Suzaku had been roped into helping Milly with the pizza, so she was safe from the Intelligence Agency. If they were to see her and recognise Kiara... that would not be good.

Kiara took in a two large lungfulls of air as Raina finally let her go. "Good to see you too Rai," she replied, smiling slightly at her friend before turning to teh two new comers. "So who're your new 'friends'?" she asked, the sarcasm when she said the word 'friends' laced extremely thick. The blond grinned, seeming not to notice her tone.

"I'm Gino and this is Anya," he said, gesturing to the girlw ith the camera. "Nice to meet you Miss Cross." He gave a little play bow and Kiara nodded her head in greeting.

"I'm Raina. And as you've probably noticed, this is Yuuki," said Raina brightly, deciding to ignore her friend's obvious meaning as she said "friends". "I'm guessing you're not from here."
"We're visiting," said Gino. "Decided to see what the school's like here. So far it seems awesome! Doesn't it Anya?"
Anya nodded briefly, turning her focus back to her camera. Raina recognised it as a camera/diary. She'd tried keeping a diary on one once, but ended up just breaking it.
"Well stick around for the pizza. Milly wants to make the world's biggest - 12 metres in diameter I think!" Suddenly Raina's phone started to buzz. Picking it up, she noticed that it was Lelouch.
"Need help with C.C! Over behind the school, by the tomato crate!" He hung up, as was his habit.
Sighing dramatically, Raina turned to the others. "I'm sorry, I have to run. The Student Council Vice-President seems to have a problem only I can help with."
Gino caught her arm, his smile still wide. "If I told you I was a knight, would you give me your number?"
"Oh no, you have no idea how many times I've hear that line!" Raina grabbed a pen from her pocket and wrote her number on his hand. "But you can have it anyway."
