*Didn't we agree to call it Tenshi? I can't really remember...*

((Oh yeah. Tenshi was definitley one of the ideas we came up with so yeah Tenshi it is))

"It's beautiful," Kiara murmured, reaching out and putting a hand on one of the legs. It was far sleeker than the Shinkiro and had a bit of a feminine shape to it somehow.
"I've named her Tenshi," the knightmare engineer stated proudly. "One of you will control the weapons and the other will control the movement, similar to the Shinkiro, but if needs be you can switch to a one pilot setting. The flight system is opperational." It was then taht Kiara noticed the wings on the back of the knightmare, one black and one white. That seemed to be the theme of the whole structureand it looked good.

"Beautiful? She's gorgeous!" Raina ran to the Knightmare and hugged its leg, ignorign the fact that her flgiht suit wasn't all the way zipped up at the back. "Ki-chan, our own special Knightmare! Our own one!"
Screaming with delight she let go of Tenshi and tried to hug Lakshata, who scooted nimbly out of the way, so she hugged Kiara instead.
"How amazing is this gonna be?!"

"Oof!" was the only noice Kiara was able to make as Raina hugged her. "Easy," she gasped. "It's great but please don't hug your co-pilot to death Rai." She managed to reach around and zipped up Raina's flight suit the rest of the way, glaring at a random guy that was staring at them a little too closely. Her look clearly told him to scram and he did so quickly, tripping over himself as he rushed to get out of the hanger. "Do you want the movement or teh weapons?" she asked, hoping that that would destract Raina from hugging her so much.

"Movement," said Raina. "It's what I do, isn't it?" She winked and pointed not very subtley at her left eye. "And what you do is supply the firepower."
She looked back at the Tenshi and sighed. "Our very own Knightmare. I swear I am in love right now." She grinned suddenly. "Let's go kick some ass, and save Nunnally!"

Kiara nodded in agreement and beforelong she was sitting behind the controls for the weapons systems of the Tenshi. She glanced at them, smirking as all the systems came online. Oh she was going to have so much fun with this thing.....
"Ready Rai?" she asked, leaning forward in her seat, eyes blazing with excitement.

"I feel like I was born ready," Raina grinned. She looked over the controls. It seemed like it shouldn't be too complicated, especially since she didn't have to worry about the weapons. She had the controls for some basic slash harkens, but the big guns belonged to Kiara.
"Tenshi," came Zero's voice over the radio. "As you are the only flying Knightmare you will be leading the vanguard. Create a distraction so that other units can slip through. Focus firepower on the accompanying ships; we do not want the Governor harmed."
"Yessir," said Raina, almost buzzing with excitement. Preparing for launch, she glanced back at Kiara. "Let's get this baby in the air, Ki-chan."

"Couldn't agree more," Kiara grinned. Being in their own knightmare was amazing. Now they had three specially made knightmares on their side, the Guren, the Shinkiro and now the Tenshi. Britannia wouldn't stand a chance.
When they were in teh air Kiara scanned teh surrounding air space, looking or any hostiles. So far nothing but she was pretty sure that wouldn't last. When they made their move Britannians would swarm to protect their new viceory.
"Flight system opperationa," she reported over the coms to the knightmare engineer. "Weaposn at full power and we're holding steady." They were almost there and soon they'd officially be in battle against Nunally's defenders. She wondered how skilled the pilots would be and how they'd stand up against the Tenshi.

"Target in sight," called Raina in a sing-song voice as she spotted the airships up ahead.
"Right," Zero said. "Guren, you lead the group on the main ship. Tenshi, stay int he air and take care of the surrounding ones. My only interest is the one with the Governor. All units, remember to not harm the Governor, repeat do not harm her."
As the other Knightmares landed on the ship, the flight units who had dropped them put up a smoke screen and retreated. Raina moved the Tenshi to beyond the smoke layer and faced the surrounding ships. "Care to fire 'em up, Ki-chan?"

"Not a problem," Kiara smirked, activating the targeting system. Immediately locking mechanisms came into place on the screen and her hands moved quickly on the controls, activating the machine guns first since they were a bit too far away to use slash harkens just yet. "Get a little closer," she instructed Raina. "We need to take out the big ones first. If I can get a little closer I think I can take that one down," she said, pointing towards her intended target. "We need to be in and out fast so let's see what this thing can do."

"Moving in close," said Raina as she pushed the Knightmare forward.
On the main ship she could see that the others were all in position. If all was going according to plan, Lelouch should have just about reached Nunnally.
"Go for it!" They were close enough to use their new and improved slash harkens - ones that didn't just hit enemies but grappled onto them if activated, meaning that the Tenshi could pull them closer, or swing them round in circles. Personally, Raina was in favour of spinning.

Kiara grinned evily as she released the slash harkens. They immediately released and she was soon in control of her area of the battle. She let out a whoop of excitement as she used the slash harkens to make one enemy crash into teh other, spinning them around so that they were so disoriented they didn't even realise their folly until it was too late.
Their conrads had dropped onto the ship and the idiots that were trying to attack them were doing a terrible job. They couldn't attack because their shields were up and now that the ground based units were inside there was nothing they could do.
Something out of the corner of a screen caught Kiara's eye and her eyes widened.
"Rai, turn this thing around," hse ordered quickly. "We've got conpany." It looked like a rear guard had appeared and now they had to turn and fight so that Lelouch had enough time to get to Nunally. Hopefully he'd be on the ship by now.

Raina turned to look at what Kiara was seeing. "Oh, crap. Is that Guilford?"
She turned the Tenshi around, abandoning the wreckage of the supporting airships and sped towards the main ship where the others were.
"Let's show those Glaston Knights what our baby can do. I'll keep on the move to avoid their attacks. With these wings we should be fast enough."

"Got it!" Kiara replied. She glared at the knightmare that Gilford was piloting before releasing an energy burst. It missed by inches and she cursed, readjusting her aim. "Stay still you little..." she growled, releasing another energy burst before using a slash harken to pin the other dow, stopping it from dodging to the other side. "Got you!" she crowed as the harken ripped a gaping wound on the knightmare's right arm. As they moved Kiara's eyes landed on another knightmare. It was red like the Guren but that was where the similarities ended. It was a huge, hulking thing and right now it was attacking their forces on the ship, the ones that weren't airborn and was that...did that plane just turn into a knightmare?
"We've got trouble!" she called. "I recognise taht knightmare, it's the Knights of the Round!" She'd grown up hearing tales of what these knights could do in their knightmares. Some of them were new as old ones died and new blood was brought in but that didn't mean that they weren't dangerous. If they were in the Rounds then they were there for a reason. "They definitely came prepared for a fight," she growled.

"Suzaku's friends? Wonderful," huffed Raina.
"I'll give you guys support!" came Kallen's voice over the radio. "We just need to hold them off until Zero secures the governor!"
Then a voice came through an open channel to all Knightmares. A voice she recognized with a sudden chill that went through to her bones. He'd said he was a knight...

"I knew I recognised him from somewhere!" Kiara snarled, turning to see a fighter jet coming at them. Sddenly it changed into a knightmare, almost like one of those transformers. Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap....
"Back off!" she growled through teh channel, firing off an energy burst in his direction. Why did it have to be a knight of the Round? She wasn't used to handling the Tenshi weapons system yet...
"Raina I think your boyfriend's playing hard to get," she commented, glaring at the data screens.

Raina managed a shaky laugh. "Ya think?"
She felt betrayed and angry, but quickly put those feelings aside. She needed to concentrate here. The Tenshi and the Guren were being pressed, but they were holding their own against Guilford and the two knights. Until...
"Ki-chan, isn't that Suzaku coming towards us?" Crap. She quickly manoeuvred the Tenshi out of the way of Lancelot's slash harkens, avoiding the Tristan's machine gun fire at the same time. She hoped to any god that might be listening that Lelouch was almost done with Nunnally. Against two Rounds they had a chance. Two Rounds and Suzaku... Raina wouldn't have bet on those odds.

"Do you have to interfere every time?" Kiara snarled into an open channel, glaring at the Lancelot as she fired off a burst of energy. The Lancelot dodged almost easily and she growled at the white knightmare. Damn their flight packs.
"Kallen!" she called into another channel. "Cover us from your position!"
"Got it!" Kallen called, firing off her own shots at the enemy before she was knocked flying by Suzaku.
"Kallen!" Kiara called, her eyes following the path of the Guren as it fell furhter and further away. "Rakshada better have finished that Guren flight system or Kallen's doen for." They couldn't go to help. There were too many knightmares and if they took their eye off the ball then they'd be in ddep trouble. THe Mordred was coming up towards them and Kiara quickly released a slash harken, trying to keep teh thing at a distance.

*I really need to rewatch this episode. Is this the part where Guren gets all the upgrades?*

((Yeah. i rewatched the episode before I posted because I could barely remember the battle. Kallen gets the winds/upgrades and stuff and freezes Suzaku in a Geffion net (I probably spelled taht wrong) before Suzaku find sout where Nunally is in the ship and goes for her after realising that the Guren is still there because Zero is already aboard so he rushes to save Nunally and ruins Lelouch's plans))

"Wonderful, so that's just the two of us against three Rounds?" Raina groaned.
"Sasaki! Kuchiki!" It was Chiba, come to their aid. Raina moved the Tenshi, both to give Chiba room and to avoid the combined attacks of Tristan and Lancelot.
Mordred, meanwhile, engaged Chiba. At that range, she didn't stand a chance and Raina heard her cursing over the radio as she was forced to eject.

"Damn it!" Kiara growled. Just then there was a loud sound from below and Kiara's head whipped to the side, staring out the window as something large and red flew quickly towards them. Was it another enemy or...
"It's Kallen!" she crowed, grinning ear to ear as she watched Kallen power through teh knightmares. "She's back and she's packing!2 She grinned evily as Suzaku was caught in teh Geffion net. While he was destracted with Kallen she acted, sending a slash harken in his direction and managing to effectively hit one of the Lancelot's legs, the left one, tearing robotic muscle and parts, some of the armour actually coming away from the frame because of the force behind the attack.
"Take that, Traitor!" she snarled through an open channel at Suzaku. He deserved every hit he got and more if she had anything to say about it.

"Mordred on our right!" called Raina. She positioned the Tenshi so that they were between the airship and Anya's Knightmare. The Knight of Seven wouldn't dare fire her huge cannon at them, not if there was a risk she'd harm a Princess and governor.
Meanwhile, Kallen was engaging Tristan and it seemed as though she had the upper hand.

"Crap, look!" Kiara called. One of the escourt ships was drifting towards the main ship where Nunally was. It had been hit and it looked like it was about to crash. "He'd better hurry or they're both in trouble," she growled, carefuly aiming a slash harken and then an energy blast at the Mordred.
"Where's Suzaku gone?" Kiara called, looking around but the white knightmare wasn't in her line of sight. Had he managed to get away from the geffion net? Just then the Mordred let off a blast and Kiara cursed as she let it with oen of her own, trying to stop the main bulk of the attack from reachig them. "Move, Rai!" she called.

"Moving!" Raina dodged the path of Mordred's attack and glanced over at the ship. The engine was busted and it had almost reached the water. Then suddenly Lancelot burst out of the roof, a small figure held carefully in the Knightmare's hand. It was Nunnally.
"Ki-chan, we got problems!"
