Riku smiled as the song ended. But the smile faded once he heard the door slam. He froze for a second but went to hide behind the piano as instucted.
His heart pounded loudly in his chest as the security guards came into the room. He was glad when he heard the footsteps of the guard walking away. He stayed in his hiding spot for a few seconds after there was silence before he left the hiding spot. "... I should probably go..." he said, his tone clearly indicating he didn't want to. |
"You should... But... I don't want you too. And you don't want to. So don't." He said and took his hand, pulling him out of the room and down the hallway to the props closet. Which was an entire room but with all the stuff it was like the wardrobe from the chronicles of narnia. "Come on. There's a bed back here. Just..." He found a hat after he flicked on the light and made sure the door was shut and locked. He stuck the large top hat on Riku's head and laughed. He found Elvis's jacket and slid it on, grinning. "Come on, you can't tell me this isn't the coolest thing in the world. Awh the bed!" He said, plopping down on it. "They use it for Huck Finn and a lot of Shakespeare plays."
Riku smiled lightly when he was led from the piano room and down the hall to the props closet. He was glad Sora wanted to spend time with him. He let out a small laugh when the hat was put on his head. He reached up and adjusted it slightly so it fit more comfortably on his head. "This is pretty cool." he admitted. He glanced around the room, taking in the sight of all the props. He bit his lip for a second. "Is there any security cameras back here?" he asked.
"No, or I would have been caught months ago. I used to sleep back here during the summer. And we're not really a camera school except in the student commons and the bookstore." He said and smiled. "It wouldn't matter to the camera crew anyways, they don't know you and as long as you're with me, no one will say anything."
Riku nodded as he took a seat next to Sora. "That's good..." he said, his voice trailing off. He bit his lip for a second, his gaze on the ground. His attention returned to Sora, a small smile on his face. He reached over and lightly touched Sora's cheek before sliding down to rest on his chin. He moved Sora's head so that he was looking at him. "... Do you think now would be a bad time for me to kiss you?"
"Riku... I've been waiting all night. I think this would be the best time." He whispered, his heart racing once more. The hand on his face was comforting at the same time as being absolutely nerve racking. He bit his lip then released it, realizing it would make kissing awkward. He moved forward a few inches, still determined not to be the one to kiss Riku. Sora had done too much of the initiative as it was. Kissing him at that moment seemed perfect, but he wanted Riku to take those final steps on his own.
Riku nodded slowly and shifted slightly so he was stting closer to Sora. With his heart racing, he leaned forward to close the distance between their lips. A blush slowly crept its way onto his face. His kiss was gentle. He didn't want to start out too rough or anything and risk the chance of scaring Sora away. Even though he knew that wasn't going to happen.
Sora smiled into the kiss, wrapping his arms around the male's neck. He kissed him back softly, understanding the need for gentleness in the moment. "Mmmm now that wasn't so hard, was it?" He whispered against his lips. "I think we should go on these secret dates every night." Sora whispered before capturing the boys lips again, with a little more passion than the last, shy kiss.
Riku smiled into the kiss. The hand that was still lightly touching Sora's chin moved so it rested on the back of his neck. He pulled Sora closer, kissing him with more passion than before. He actually liked the idea of coming back on another of these secret dates again. He'd be sure to tell Sora... When they were done here. Right now, he planned on enjoying the moment as best as he could.
Sora smirked and then moved closer, his hands moving to press against his chest, clutching his shirt and pulling him closer. He nipped his lower lip and shook his head. "I've got an early class tomorrow, and I have a feeling the teacher doesn't like me because her student teacher likes me too much." He whispered against his lips. "So... Saturday? Go to church with me." He said and smirked. He was NOT going to give away his religion.
Riku smiled lightly. Sora would probably be right about the teacher, if she knew of Riku's feelings towards him. But she doesn't. But still, the thought amused him. A thoughtful expression crossed his face. Church? He hadn't gone to one since he was in middle school and it did indeed sound like an interesting proposition. He figured he might as well give it another chance. "Sure. I'll go. No problem." he said.
"Great! Meet me in the student lot off Rides Lane... I'm driving." He said and then grabbed the blindfold and slid it into his pocket. He kissed the male, softly and slid his hand around the male's neck and closed his eyes. There wasn't a limit on how much or often he could kiss the delicious student teacher. "Mmm..." He whispered. "Good night." He said and escaped quickly, running up the stairs to the top level and headed to his dorm. He was so amazing.
Riku nodded his head. He scanned through his head and figured he had nothing exciting going on on Saturday. "Night." he called as he watched Sora leave. He smiled lightly and stood up and headed back to his room slowly. There wasn't many people out right now. Most people were in their rooms or out eating a late dinner. Riku got back to his room without any problems and he settled down in for the night.
The next morning, Sora was awake way before class, one coffee in hand and he set it at the edge of the desk so he could grab it as he passed by. Roxas was still mad at him and sat seats away. Sora sighed and glanced at the male. "I'm sorry." He whispered to his best friend and Roxas breathed out slowly then nodded. He moved closer and punched Sora's shoulder. Sora cringed and then grinned. "How is the student teacher thing going?"
"Well, and the you and Kairi thing?" "Not at all." |
Riku got out of bed, in a better mood than he was in yesterday. He figured it had something to do with Sora. He smiled lightly as his mind drifted back to last night as he got ready for the day. He glanced at his phone as he left his room and raised an eyebrow. 3 missed texts from Kairi. He scanned them briefly and smiled. This was great. She finally dumped Seifer. He was sure she was going to be a lot happier now.
He walked into the classroom and his gaze drifted over to where Sora and Roxas were seated. He knew Roxas liked Kairi, so he figured he could let him know that she was now single. So, he walked over to them. "Morning." he greeted. |
"Good morning." Sora said, slipping the coffee into his hand and licking his lower lip. When he pulled his hand away it brushed against the males palm and he looked away. Roxas glanced up at Riku and shrugged. "Good I guess." He said in a flat, bored tone.
Riku smiled at Sora for a second before turning his attention to Roxas. "Hey.. I know you like Kairi and being the nice person that I am, I want you to know she broke up with her boyfriend last night. Apparently they had this big fight and so now she's single." he said. He looked around and saw the teacher enter the room. So he shot another quick smile at Sora before he went to take his place in the front of the room.
Sora took a drink of his coffee and frowned. He'd gotten them switched. Too late now... He took another drink, shrugged and slid it to Roxas who looked a hell of a lot more happier. Probably NOT because of his coffee. Sora watched Riku for a moment and then slid to his notebook. He was tired, it wasn't that surprising. So instead of taking notes, he doodled once again. His eyes glancing up at Riku once in awhile to let him know he was still interested. Roxas seemed ancy beside him to get to his next class which Sora remembered being the one he shared with Kairi.
Riku took a sip of the coffee Sora had gotten him and resisted the urge to make a face. It wasn't exactly what he was expecting, but he'd drink it nonetheless. He sat in his seat, watching the class as the teacher went on about whatever it was they were learning today. He stopped listening about five minutes after she started talking. He already knew everything and it wasn't as if she was going to ask him his opinion about anything. He fought to keep the smile from his face as he saw how anxious Roxas was to get out of the class because of what he said. He hoped Kairi wouldn't be too mad at him for what he said. After all, she was single and she hated that.
The teacher went through the lesson, not even glancing in Sora's direction. She wasn't in the mood for any disruptions today. |
Sora smiled and when the class was over he was the last to stand. "Have fun, Rox." He said and then slipped outside the room and waited. "Seriously, I gave my coffee to you. I'm uncaffeinated, this isn't a good thing." He said when Riku stepped out of the room. He stuck his hands in his pockets and grinned. "On the bright side, I didn't make a scene today and she refuses to look at me, which is good because I would probably get caught looking at you."
Riku smiled light at Sora. "She probably wouldn't even notice. From what I could tell, there were about three other girls looking at me too." he said, shrugging. He held out the almost full cup of coffee Sora had given him. "You can have the rest of this, if you want. I didn't really like it. You don't have too though, if you don't want too." He'd have to go by the coffee place later and get him a cup of something that'd he actually be able to drink.
Sora smiled and touched the males cheek, winking. "Yeah, but unlike me they don't get looks back. I enjoy my privileges." He reached down, took the coffee and sipped. "Much better." He said and then glanced down. "I have to go to class. And so do you. So... I'll see you later today in class?" He asked and put his free hand in his jacket pocket. He yawned and took another drink, resting against the wall. He couldn't believe he was actually enjoying talking to someone. In the past he'd been sexual, not so conversational. Riku made him different... He loved it.
Riku nodded. "Yeah. I'll see you later." he said. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure the teacher wasn't looking for him yet. He sighed lightly when he seen her coming. "I'll see you later then." he said, turning to glance at Sora for a second before he turned to walk over to the teacher. He didn't want her to see him being too friendly with Sora. That wouldn't be good.
Later that day, Sora went to the class he shared with Riku, sitting in his usual spot in back and waited for Riku. He bit his lip and watched the males and females around him talk. Some girls glancing at him and giving him flirty smiles. Ew. No. He rolled his eyes and looked at the door, awaiting Riku's arrival.
Riku sat through the same class again and again, just like every other day. But, since Sora wasn't in any of those classes, he was actually able to focus on what the teacher was saying. Not that he really needed to, but it was better than getting in trouble for not paying attention.
Once he was finally released he headed to the class where he'd actually learn something. He smiled lightly as he remembered Sora was in the class too and he went to sit by him. |
