Kalin stuffed the note--and dagger--in his inner coat pocket. "I'm going." He said. "Are you nuts?!" Edward asked. "Do you have any idea what that means?!" Kalin nodded. "But Yukina's in danger, and I'm going to get her." With that, he slipped on his helmet and took off. |
Yusie sighed. "I'm going with him, Yukina's our friend ... if .... if somthing happens to her and we stood by and did nothing to try and help ... I couldn't forgive myself, and ...Kalin would hate us all over again",he said softly and took off on his dool runner after Kalin, catching up easily.
Jack let out a fustraighted growl then looked to the others. "You guys coming or not?",he said umping on his runner and started it up and blinked when he felt Al get on, he looked back. "you're coming?" Al nodded. "she's my friend",he looked to Edward ."and you're friend too brother. What would you do, if she never came back?" Jack blinked, surprise at Al's words. Al continued. "do you really want to lose another person we care about?she's like family Ed!" Ruka looked to crow."we all can help, let's go...." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back at the circle the man was paceing inpatiently. "where are they ....",he said and glared down to Yukina who was unconchous again."...did they not take me seriously?",he growled and sat back on his rock watching and waiting. In the mean time Yukina was once again back in the past,well dreaming of it anywase. This time she was by some hot springs she blinked seeing her past self in the hot springs ....um...bathing. Yukina sighed."of course I'm ....she's naked ...again",she then blinked hearing footsteps she blinked as she spotted Kalin's past self walking around, looking lost."Kalin?",she said softly and sadly to herself she blinked when Kalin's past self responed to her. Kalins past self blinked looing around."h-hello?",he asked taking a step then yelped as he slipped and went crasing down to the edge of the hot springs and was dazed. Yukina's past self screamed in surpise, then out of the jungle , silver fand came tearing out, snarling and lept at Kalin. "Silver fang no!",she yelled just in time as the dule monster landed away from Kalin but still growled. Past Yukina swam over and statred at him from shere she was."A ... a boy",she said blushing. Se swam to the other edge and quickly got out, with silver fang blocking the veiw of any one ...who might be peeping. When she was dressed, she went over to Kalin and nelt down beside him."good, he's still breathing",she said and blinked looking to his dager and saw a crest on it."he's one of the kings men?",she said softly and looked to his face."hmm Silver fang, help me get him to our home ...",she said and laghed as silver fang huffed and managed to get Kalin onto his back. They then made thier way up to the tempal like place from before. Yukina then had silver fang lay him on her bed. She then sat crossed legged on the bed watching him sleep."i've never seen, another boy , other then the king",she said blushing. "he's so handsome",she said softly tp herself then jumped slightly as Klain stired and woke up. Kalin groaned sitting uprubbing his head."where?",he then froze seeing Yukina."y-y-yyou're",he jumped up bowing."please forgive me priestest,mistical...um miss...uhhhb...i didn't mean to see you!" Yukina giggeled and stood going over to him,and made him look to her again."it's alright ... my name is Yukina ....you can call me Yukina...what's you're name that I may call you by" Kalin at this point was blushing."I...'i'm Kalin...",he said softly. The two stared into one another's eyes intently. Present Yukina watched from a short distence and smiled sotly. 'this is when they fist met',she thought to herself happilyh, then cringed in pain holding her wound as she was once again jolted out of her dream ,memory thing and awoke to the sands again."crap",she muttered and tried to sit up but cried out in painas the man kicked her in the back ,she shivered in pain and looked up to the man with discust. The dark signer mark was now clearly visibleon her arm, but she didnt notice. The man scoweled at her."where are they?", he yelled."by now they should have relized you're gone, and found my note!" Yukina smirked weakly."I-if I'm lucky, they wont come....so they'll be safe ... from you.....and wh-whatever wacko plan you have going on",she said weaklylooking away from the man and towards the city.'Please guys... stay safe, don't come get me',she thought teary eyed, knowing that IF they didn't come, that the odd's were she'ed never see them again. Then again , they way she was , she still might never see them again even if they did come. The man then growled but smirked as he kicked Yukina hard in her back where part of her wound was and laughed as she cried out in pain.He smirked as her mark glowed slightly."I wonder ...if Kalin can feel you in danger" Yukina looked back to him and gave a glare. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As they group drove along ... the pendent Yukina had maid Kalin glew slightly. |
Crow nodded. "Ed, you going with?" He said, tossing Ruka an extra helmet.
"What do you think?! Of course I'm going!" Edward snapped, not bothering to catch the extra helmet Crow offered to him. "Then let's get going!" Crow started the runner and, once the two were on, started off. "I'm in too!" Rua added, getting onto Jack's runner. Kalin felt the pendant grow warm. Glancing down, he saw that it was glowing softly. "What the heck...?" He was cut off as he had a...flashback? Vision? He didn't know what it was, only that all of a sudden he saw himself in some kind of light armor, and a girl in a silvery dress who looked like Yukina. What is this? |
Past Yukina and Kalin were together ,and star gazing. Yukina appeared to be showing him the constellations. She then blinked as few children came into view,she kissed Kalin softly."be back in a sec",she said going over to the group of kids out of Kalins sight.
Past Kalin sighed softly after her and stood up to stretch. He turned and blinked as he stared at Kalin,clearly seeing him. He then sighed and looked down sadly."so , it has indeed begun ....",he frowned.Then looked to Kalin very seriously."You're Yukina is in grave danger , you must get to her quickly",he warned. "i ...sensed her a short while ago, she is fading..." --- Yusie blinked as Kalin seemed to be off in his own little world."hey , Kalin snap out of it!" ----- Ruka jumped on , and held on as the rest of the group headed after the other's, and cought up easily. |
Yukina! Kalin thought. "Who are you?" He asked.
Hearing Yusei's voice jerked him back to the present. What the hell was that about? He thought. That looked like me in a past life, but he knew who I was and could sense Yukina. The Yukina I know. He looked over as Yusei pulled up next to him. "Did you just see what I did?" |
Yusie shook his head. "No why?"

Kalin shook his head. "Never mind." He said. He nearly veered off and crashed, as he suddenly felt a pain through his heart, like it had been stabbed with a blade.

Yusie grinded to a stop andbran over. "Kalin!", he bent down."what the hell happened?"

"I...I don't know. I feel like I've been stabbed, but..." He hissed in pain, grasping at his chest. Damn it! What is this?! Why am I suddenly in so much pain?

Yusie frowned and bit his lip."what if its Yukina?"he asked concerned. "You have conected with her before right? ",He said worried.

It was getting harder and harder to stay awake now.She slowly looked around,she could have sworn she had heard Kalin a few moment ago,but he was no where to be seen. She spotted the man watching he closely,she looked away from him and sighed slightly. Kalin wasn't there but,she had heard him...she knew she did. Kalin nodded, then felt Yukina's consciousness brush against his own. 'I'm here. What happened? Are you in trouble?' Okay, so that second question was a stupid one....

Yukina was silent at first. heh, me in trouble, yeah right. Kalin, you and the others havento stay away...please..." , shenwent sioemtnas she cringed in pain. it looks like i wont be seeing home again after all"

'We won't leave you.' Kalin replied. 'If I could be brought back from the dark side, then we can save you from whatever shit is happening this time. Trust me.'

Yusie looked to Kalin."hey kalin, snap out of it whas going on?", he asked worried.
Yukina smiled some."i do trust you, but... i dont know how long i can keep holding on" shensaid softly then went silent as she blacked out again. |
Kalin felt Yukina cut off. "She's in trouble." Kalin replied, revving up his cycle again. "I think...I think I might know where she is, but she's weak. We need to get there, fast."

Yusie blinked confused but nodded,then hearing the others he grinned seeing them all."well then lets go"

Kalin nodded, taking off at full speed. Yukina....hang on, Yukina. I won't let you die.

Yusie followed close behind,as the others caught up to them.
Jack sighed." sorry we took so long!" |
"It's fine." Kalin said, focusing. "Just keep up. Yukina's in danger; I can sense it."
"One of your weird feelings?" Ed asked, sighing. Kalin nodded. "Great. Just great. And I thought my life was freaky before!" Within minutes, they were there, thanks to Kalin tracking Yukina's life force. Kalin was the first to stop. "Yukina!" He shouted, yanking off his helmet and running to her side." |
Yusie stopped as well hopping off and wet with Kalin but froze looking at Yukina and saw all the blood. He shook his head a moment then handed Kalin his jacket.
Yukina slowly opened her eyes ,and seeing Kalin she smiled weakly."hey ......I thought I told you....n-not to come",she said weakly,and cringed some as she talked. Jack pulled up with the others and cringed seeing Yukina. Then blinked hearing a laugh. He looked to a man standing on the other side of the cirle."im guessing you did this to our friend?",he said lowly. The man grinned."yes , and now that youre all here, the fun can really begin" |
"What 'fun' are you talking about?" Crow demanded, getting off his own Runner and taking off his helmet. He heard Kalin's shout, and looked over. "Yukina...what did you do to her?!"
Kalin accepted Yusei's jacket with a small nod of thanks. "Yukina...stay with me, Yukina." He said, pulling off is own. He used both jackets to staunch the flow of blood. "Damn, it isn't enough...Yukina! Please, stay with me! Don't die!" |
The man laughed."just some .... ensurence tyat things will play out as they should, nownits time to gonfor a trip.", he said calmly and bent down to the circle and clapped his hands then touched it, causeingnit to glow.
Yukina smiked some at Kalin. "...its ....okay Kalin.....", shensaid then looked to the circle as it glowed. |
"We've got to stop the transmutation!" Edward said to his brother, going for one of the lines to smudge it out. "If you're close to a line, break it somehow!"
Kalin wasn't paying attention. "It will," he said, the sign on his arm burning. His eyes changed as well--to those of a Dark Signer. He poured his power into Yukina's wound, healing it, and taken it into himself. "I won't let you die." |
Jack nodded and ran to an edge but yelped,as the hannds grabbed him."shit!"
Ruka looked to Jack and trenbeled as he began to vanish like befor. Yusie looked around as the hands were pulling everyone into the gates. Yukina shook her head."no, I won't let you do that again",she said moving his hand away before he could heal her.Then blinked as she,saw the gates appear and all the arms started coming down and grabbing everyone. She felt her own arm burning,then watched as hand came flying towards them,then was blocked when Yuise stepped in the way. Yusie cringed as the hands grabbed him, and he began to disaper,he looked to Kalin."take.Care.of her",he said seriously as he was pulled into the gate. Al saw arms coming toward Edward and ran to him."brother!",he yelled as the handss grabbed his armor and pulled him up into the gates."BROTHER!!",Al yelled trying to reach down for Edward. Yukina watched as everyone was being pulled into the gate, even thier runners.She smiled softle and looked to Kalin ,and useing whatever energy she had left, ahe blushed some as she kissed Klain looking into his eye,tears in hers."I love you...",she said softly her eyes became one color and closed as she went limp in his arms. Her dark signer mark glowed and a darks energy came out, and begam to flow around her wounds as teh arms headed for Kalin and her again. |
"No...no, no, NO! YUKINA! DON'T DIE!" He cried, holding her body close to him. "Yukina!"
"Alphonse!" Edward called to his brother. "Get to Mustang! General Tira! Teacher! Tell them what's happening! Tell them who--" He was cut off as the arms yanked him through the Gate. "I won't leave her!" Kalin said to the arms as they took him. "I won't leave Yukina! I won't let her die!" The arms reached him, pulling him through the Gate, causing him to have to let her go. No, Yukina! |
