"This is why." Kalin said. In less than a second he'd drawn his dagger and thrown it at Dartz, hitting hims sqare between the eyes. "By the way, you've got a dagger in you head."


Edward sat back in the chair, thinking. If it is something to do with Yukina, then what is it and how can we stop it?

Dratz dropped back dead,his eyes stareing to teh sky.

Yukina laughd darkly."good ridence",she said and looked to Kalin,before bowing to him.She stood straeight and looked at him."I am ready to serve you my master",she said an looked towards the forest with a slight glare,before looking back to him.She held out her hand and a dark orb formed and her original deck and all its cards apeared in her hand."much better",she said placeing the belt around her and placed her cards in the pouch.

Yusei blinked as Yukinas cadrs suddenly vanished."what the?!",his card glowed suddnly he could see the temple,Yukina was with Kaln,Dratz lie dead,but Yukina ,Yuina was completeslydifferent,"Yukina",he called out,,she herd him and looked to him."Yu-Yukina?",he said ,then felt her glare at him,feeling a pian go throght his head. In reality Yusei suddenly slipped off the bed into unchochousness.

"Well, that's a rather unsightly decoration." Kalin said, puling his dagger out of Dartz's head. He snapped his fingers, and a couple of Orechalcos minions appeared at his side. "Take out the trash."

The two obeyed, as if they knew that Kalin was to be their new master. A few minutes a splash was heard as they deposited the body in the surrounding water. He looked to Yukina. "So I see you've got your old deck back." Kalin said.


"Wh-wha?!" Edward blurted in shock as the cards turned black then dissapeared, ending the duel. "What was--" He stopped as he saw that Yusei had frozen, his arm still glowing. "Hey, Yusei? You in there?" No answer. Then, without warning, Yusei passed out and slid to the ground. "Yusei!" Edward ran around the table and checked Yusei's pulse. It had stopped, and his breathing was shallow. Immedeatly he ran to the door. "HEY! HELP! YUSEI JUST PASSED OUT!" He shouted. "HE NEEDS RESSUCITATION!!!"

Yukina smerked."I have my reasons",she said looking to her deck."its far more powerfull then the one Dratz had givven me",she said calmly ."so master Kalin,what can my first actions be,to please you",she asked as she placed a seal of oricalcos card into her deck."Liviathin and I are ready to obay",she said looking behind her as Liviathing flew up to them,giving a bow to them both.

Doctors and Nurses rushed into the room and kicked Edward out and began to resusitate Ysuie trying to get him to come back.

Jack sighed as they made it back to the hospial and blinked seeing Edward get kicked out of the room a doctors and nurses ran in."Ed whats going on?!"

Kalin thought for a moment before smiling. "Let's hit Yusei where it hurts; his friends." He said. "The rest of his useless little friends were all there, so how's about I have you go after...." He tapped his chin for a moment, thinking about who would be the most vulnerable. "Kyle Longbow. Track her down and take her out. As for me, I've got some buisness to attend to." With that, he strode off in the direction of the center of the temple, where the souls and power source of the Seal were kept.


"I...I'm not sure." Edward replied, still in shock. "He was teaching me to duel when the cards I was using all turned black and evaporated, then he froze up and collapsed. I checked his pulse, and he didn't have one and he was barely breathing."

Jacks eyes wdened."what?",he said now in shock he looked as the others were coming up."come on,you and me are going to search for Yukina,those were her cards,somthing is up"

Yukina noded and gave a now."yes master Kalin",she said and looked to Liviathin."lets go",she said hopping onto him as it took off to the skys.

"We've also got to find everyone else, Jack." Crow said. "Maybe...we should split up. Some of us search for Yukina, and some of us look for the others."


Kalin entered the main temple chamber. It was still intact, to his pleasure. He stepped up to the softly glowing gem that held the source of the Orechalcos' power. Now that he was looking at it closely, he could see that the power within the gem was swirling in what seemed like an endless sea. It was set into a stone on an altar that was instribed with the same runes around the Seal of Orechalcos. He kneeled and placed his hand upon the glowing, energy-filled gem.

"Power of the Orechalcos, I wish to bond with you." He said. "I have killed the one who originally held you. Allow me to become the weilder of your will." He took his bloodstained dagger and made a deep cut into his arm, stretching from his elbow to the back of his hand. "I give you my blood as an offering."

The blood flowed into the runes around the gem, which absorbed them and glowed with the sea-green light of the Orechalcos. The gem glowed brighter, and Kalin cackled insanely as the power of the Orechalcos flowed into his body, burning the Seal onto his forehead as a tattoo.

" I know what the others look like, ill egt a start for them",he said and tarted to head out.

Yukina flew along stayng quite as she remained deepin though. A smek came across her face."soon they weill all fall",ehs said softly.

"You're not going alone!" Edward called.

"That means I'm going after Yukina." Crow said. "Damn it, where is she?"


Rua was looking for Allea. "Allea?" He asked.

"Hi there!" Allea said. She handed him a pack. "Here, put this on." She said.

"Why?" Rua asked.

"We're going to Dublith." Allea said. She held up a couple of train tickets. "My dad is friends with a family in East City, and he gave his friend the money to get us to Dublith."

"Seriously?!" Rua asked in disbelief.

Allea nodded. "Yep. We're going to find that friend of yours."

Jack looked to him."thats why were-",he stopped looking up seing a very large dark evil looking dragon fly over head,heading towards Dubirth.He belinked seeing Yukina rideing it."....i think....i found her....."

Yukina flew onwards ignoreing the cryes of fear from bellow pulling out the oriclchos card she smiled."iwthanks to my gift,i can use this without a dule disc,anyon one who gets in my way ,i shall eliminate easily ... i an gather as many soles for master Kalin as I woant",she said and looked down to see a militarry official)just a random lacky),following her."fool",she muttered and looked to the crda."lets test this out, seal of oricalshous,take the mans sole",she said and with a smerk she watched as the card glowed,a green ligh shot out of it,and past threw the man,his scream of terror made Yukina laugh as the sole was brought into the card."one down",she said happily.

Winry smiled."edward you can use Yukinas",she said happily.'at the moment I dout she would mind"

Once back at Winrys Jack got to his bike and cheaked it over."still good to go", he said softly and got ready with his bike.

Winry looked at him."you hve an excuse not to even try everything dont you",she said giving him a look."so Jacks going alone then?"

Jack looked back,surprised to see none of his friends shugging it off he got onto his bike and took off after Yukina.if she is evil as she looks,whoever gets in her way is in great danger, Jack thought to himself and growled some.and if I know Kalin, he will make Yusei suffer by going after his freinds ,so one if our friends must be in that town that Yukina is heading for.He thought and spead up his bike.

Al nodded."you got it brother!"

Jack spead down the road keeping an eye onYukina."that must be iviathin",he said softly.

Yukina went along and looked back seeing Jack followeing."ha ha, one of Yuseis freinds are following,oh well i can get two birds with one stone i guess",she said coldly.

Yusei was fine now and in a deep sleep. He was seeing what Liviathin had done to Yukina, to make her ,just pure evil ,and cold hearted. In his dream he tried to call out to Yukina , to convice her not to,but it had alraedy happen so it was of no use. Livithin apaered to him in his dram,telling him to forget about Yukina , that she was no longer the same Yukina he knew, and that even if he got the real Yukina back, shed be dead before long since liviathin was feeding off her life fourse ,and useing it to power the seal,underneith Kalins nose. Yusei growled as the dream vanshed and woke with a jolt,looking around he saw he was still in the hospital and sighed, stareing out the window.

"Hey, Crow! Look up there!" Edward called, pointing to a long, serpentine dragon in the sky.

Crow looked up. "That is one big ass dragon."


Kyle's Falcon totem ring burned again, hotter this time. She was once again working on her Runner, but the burning ring made her stop. "What're you trying to tell me, falcon?" She asked quietly.

Jack hearing Edwad and Crow looked back."about time you to caough up!",he said looking forward.

Yukina looked back down andgrowled."great ,more barriers",she then smerked ."but i know how to slow them down",she mutterd and formed a dark ball in her hand and tossed it up,it glowed and began to shoot at ,Jack,Croa and Edward.

Jack blinked seeing blast heading for them."fuuck",he yelled and started to evoid them.

Yusei after a bit got ouot of bed and looked around,he changed out of his hospital clothse and opening the window ,he saw no one around and with a smile he grabbed his deck and snuck out the window.Spotting his dule runner he made his way to it.

Yukina smiled spotting Dubith in the distece."heh,this is gonna be fun!",she said a dark smile on her face.

"SHIT!!!" Crow shouted. He swerved to dodge the blast, but was still caught by the shockwave. In the process, Edward was nearly thrown from the Runner.

"HEY! Watch it next time!" Edward protested.

"Just can it an hang on!" Crow replied. "I can drive better if you're not yelling in my ear!"


Just then, one of the nurses walked past Yusei's room, only to see it empty and the window open. "Doctor!" She called. "That young man that was in room 201 is gone!"

Winry who was walking up to cheak on Yusei blinked hearing the nurse ran outside in time to see Yusei taking off on his dule runner."Yusie!",she called after him but he was alraedy speeding down the road."oh boy ... where is he running off to?"
