Jack went over."shes rigth,Yusei you shouldnt have left the hospital,i understand why but you need rest still"

Crow pulled one of Yukina's arms over his shoulder, which was just as well because Yusei nearly collapsed a moment later, only to be caught by Kyle.
"Whoa! Yusei, you're still not recovered!" Crow said. "And you're burning up," Kyle said, supporing Yusei so he wouldn't fall a second time. "I can feel it through your jacket. Are you sure you're healthy enough to be up and about?" "Do you know these people, Kyle?" Izumi asked, striding over. Kyle nodded. "Yeah." She replied. "They're Crow Hogan," she indicated the boy with unruly orange hair and a brown vest, "Jack Atlas," she pointed out a blonde with a long, white coat and hair that must have been caked with hair gel to stand up the way it did, "and Yusei Fudo." She finished, nodding her head towards the spikey-haired young man with the dark blue jacket with orang bubbles on the sholders and elbows. "And I think you already know Yukina." "I do," Izumi said. "She was with Ed and Al when they were here last." Said alchemist was once again cowering behind Jack. "Hide me!" He sqeaked. |
Jack looked back at Ed then to Izumi."excuse me, but where is your clinic,Yusei is sick,he left a hospital to early, and we dont know whats wrong with Yukina"
Yusei sighed."i'll be fine once i lay down",he said softly. |
"Says the guy who's burning up hotter than my dad's grill on the Fourth of July," Kyle replied. "Yusei, you need to get some rest. In a hospital. And I don't mean a few hours of sleep either; I mean proper medicine and several days of regaining your strength."
Izumi pointed down the street to their left. "It's about a block down on Harper avenue." She said. "As for you, Edward, I've got a few questions for you." "Eeep!" Edward gulped, clutching onto Jack's upper arm even tighter as he used the duelist as a human shield. |
Jack gave a glare."get off",he said shaking Ed loose and went to get Yukina."Kyle you hlep Crow,I've got Yukina",he said picking her up.
Yusei sighed."then lets go",he said more worried about Yukina at the momnet. |
"Right," Kyle said. Edward on the other hand was in despair.
I'm gonna get killed....I'm gonna get killed....I'm gonna get killed.... He thought, before he ended up getting a hard, solid kick to the face. "What the hell have you done this time?!" Izumi demanted as Edward rubbed the smarting bruise. |
Jack looked back."uh....good luck",he said softly and started walking

"I'm not even gonna ask," Crow said as he helped Kyle support Yusei as they headed to the clinic. "I'd probably wind up getting a kick in the face worse than Ed's."
"Like whenever you decide to be an immature moron?" Kyle asked. It didn't take them long to reach the clinic. |
Once at the clinic , doctors took Yusei and Yukina from them and brought them into rooms to get treated.
Sighing Jack flopped into a chair."think the'll be okay?" |
"Yusei will be fine, but I'm not sure about Yukina." Kyle said. "I've never met her before, but I'm still worried. She wasn't doing too good after that duel."
"What do you mean?" Crow asked. "She was ice cold and had a weak pulse," Kyle replied. "She's got a fight ahead of her." |
Jack sighed."yeah",he said softly."Damn that Kalin,hes even more insane then normal",he said fustraited.

"Worse than last time," Kyle said. She remembered with a pang that 'last time' was less than twenty-four hours ago in the Sattilite.
We're not even in the same world anymore, Kyle thought in frustration. Everything has been turned on it's head. We're in a new world with new rules and whole new set of enemies to sort out. She put her head in her hands. What are we going to do? The entire gang's still seperated! |
Jack looked to Kyle.'things will be okay",he said placeing a hand onto her sholder."we'll think of smething ,i knw we will,when Ed gets here,we'll come up with a plan...."

"If he comes back in one piece," Crow interjected.
"Aren't you comforting," Kyle said, glaring at Crow through her fingers. |
Jack smiled some,then looked up as he saw doctors come out."how are they?"
The doctor sighed."well Yusei shall be fine,we gave him medication,his fever has gone down, hes resting" Jack smiled.'good",then blinked."and Yukina?" Sighing the doctor looked down."not the greatest,shes slipped into a coma,we got her as stable as we can get her,her body tempriture is slowly riaseing,but for now shes touch and go" |
Kyle was silent. She was resting her forehead on her interlaced fingers, staring down at the ground. That girl tried to take my soul, she thought. But now...it doesn't seem like it was of her own will.

Jack sighed and looked to Kyle."she was fighing off taht dragon thing,from what Yusei use to tell us,shes never like that",he said thinking."you saw all that darkness leave her,i have a feeling he was the one who out it in her to begin with...."

"You're probably right," Kyle replied, only about half listening. "But that doesn't change the battle we've all just been thrown into."

Jack sighed."i know,are you blameing her on it?",he said looking slightly worried.

Kyle shook her head. "Simply because I don't know who to pin the blame on yet." She replied.

"Kalin,that dragon and that weird seal thing",Jack said softly."lets go cheak on Yusei",he said getting up.

"All right," Kyle said.
"I'll stay here and wait for any updates on Yukina," Crow said. Kyle and Jack nodded as the strode down the hall. A few doors down was Yusei's room, where he was sleeping soundly. Kyle placed the back of her hand on his forehead gently, checking his temperature. "It's still high, but not as bad as before." She said. She sighed. "Hasn't broke yet though." |
Yusei growned and woke up."hows Yukina?",he said looking worried,but by the way he looked at them you could tell he wanted the truth.Right then and there.
Jack bit his lip."Not ... that great ... we dont know that much on her yet...." Yusei sighed."I should have been able to do something" |
Kyle moved her hand from his forehead to his hand. "The doctors have at least gotten her stable," she said. "But, she's gone into a coma."
