"Well, if Crow keeps on pissing Ed off and getting a foot to the face, then it's real." Kyle said.
"Hey!" Crow yelped. "He kept on calling me short!" Edward protested. "You are!" Crow replied. "SAY THAT AGAIN YOU ORANGE-HAIRED IDI---" Edward started, but was cut off by a flying rollling pin from the kitchen. "IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT TAKE IT OUTSIDE!!!" Izumi roared. Edward immediatly calmed down. |

"I had to train those two." Izumi said in reply.
"So...anyway, please help me build a deck!" Edward said. Kyle sighed. "All right. Since you're not going to stop bothering me about it, I'll help you build a deck." She said, getting up. "Meet me in the living room. We're gonna need space." With that she headed into the guest room she was staying in to get her extra cards. |

Yusei laughed."hes eager...." Yukina smiled."i'll help with the dishes ... then I think I'll go for a walk" |
"Of course I am!" Edward protested.
"Give the little guy a break, guys." Crow said. "Weren't we all the same way when we started learning Duel Monsters?" "Why you--" Edward started, but he was cut off by Kyle grabbing hold of his ear and dragging him to the living room. "Ouch!" "Ed, if you want to build yourself a deck, then quit getting hyped up." Kyle said while Crow snickered. "And you Crow really need to stop it with the short jokes. I think we've all gotten it through our heads that Ed's got a short complex." |
Yukina smiled some and went into the kitchen and started o wash up.

"All right, time to get started." Kyle said. "Don't be upset if you don't get your deck finished in one night; sometimes it takes a while." She said as she opened the case. In it there were only 100 cards, but many of them could be easily combined to support one another. "A few things you should know about building a deck are that it's got to have a minimum of forty cards and no maximum, but..." she held up a finger "...the closer you keep to the minimum the better off you are. Also, there should be about a 50/50 ratio or monsters to spells and traps. And while you can take random cards and throw them together and call it a 'deck', it isn't a good deck."
Edward was nodding in agreement, looking through all of the cards. Most of them were Earth-attribute (if he remembered correctly from when he was dueling Yusei earlier) and somehow relating to the biosphere. Eventually he came upon a card that was white, but looked like the rest of the cards. "Hey, what's it mean when a card's white?" He asked. "Monster cards that are white are Synchro Monsters." Kyle explained. "They go in your Extra Deck, same thing with Fusion Monsters." she pulled out her Toruk Mak'Tou card as an example. "Synchro monsters are sort of a spinoff of Fusion monsters. Fusion monsters need specific monster on your side of the field or in your hand to summon, and you've got to use a card called Polymerization to 'fuse' those monsters together." "I see," Edward said. "And how do you get a Synchro monster on the field?" "You need at least two monsters on the field, like a Fusion monster." Kyle replied. "One of them can be any kind of monster you like--even another Synchro--and a Tuner. Tuner's sort of take the place of the Polymerization card." She pulled out her Atokirina card. "See, this is a Tuner. Most of the time they're fairly low-level so they're easy to get on the field. When you've got a Tuner and at least one other monster on the field you can 'tune' them together by sending them both to the Graveyard, and bring out a Synchro monster with the same level as the monsters you used to summon it." "So..." Edward started, searching through the cards to find one of these Tuners and another monster. "I could use these two to bring out something stronger, right?" Kyle nodded. "Yep. You just can't tune two Tuners together." "Why not?" Edward asked. Kyle shrugged. "I'm not sure. My guess is they'll cancel each other out. However, you can do a double Synchro summon by using one Tuner and another non-Tuner, and then tuning the resulting Synchro monster with the second Tuner to bring out something stronger." |

Yusie laughed."oh yes , especialy when yur teaching someone and theytere learing and keep asking questions",he laughed and looked to the kitechen seeing Yukina had finished the dishes and was gone."where did she run off to now?" |
"She said she was going to take a walk when she was done helping Mrs. Curtis clean up." Kyle replied as Edward was searching through the cards. It looked like he was putting a lot of thought into the deck he was building. This guy seems really into it. She thought as she watched. I think Ed's going to managed to put together a rather strong deck.

Yusei nodded."alright',he said seeming a bit concerned.
Jack looked at Yusei."whats wrong?" Yusei smiled some."shes been acting off since we left the hospital.....did someoene sayd somiting that may have upste her at all?" ------ Yukina sighed as she walked along the street stareing at the sky.Since everything had happened she had been haveing nightmares,seeing the ones she had taken soles from. She needed air and to clear her head.Trying to find a way for the nightmare s to end. As she walked along she came to a library in the town."hmm, its beed a hile since I've been here",she said and walked inside.As she walked around ,going up and down the rows and rows of books. She jumped as a book sudenly fell infront of her.Picking it up she flipped it over and read the tital. The Legand Of; LIVIATHIN"What on earth?",she muttered as headed to a table and began reading it. She read on how Liviathin was once a guardian spirit like Yuseis Dragon,but humans huntied him down and killed him for his golden scalles. Years Later , Dartz comes into play and summons Liviathin,only he is now a hatfull being -hence why hes so evil-an how after the soles have been gatherd ,and he came back o power ,he would kill all of man kind,even the human that 'contolled' him. As she read on she blinked seeing a girl who looked like her who was the guardian of the guardian spirits. She closed the books and looked to the clock."wow its getting late",she said standing up,she slowly pulled a pendedt she wore,up and out from the inside of her shirt."Kallens in trouble then",she said softly and ran towards the door but yellped as figure apaered infront of her. She recognised him as Kurou,the boy volenteered at the hospital."oh... you scared ,me,what are you doing here?",she asked calmly. Kurou smirked ."stopping you from makeing a mistake,your going o stop master Kallin,witch would ruin my plans of destroying every last human in this world ... I can't let you do that see Kallen told me to watch you,the only way to do that was to descise myself as a human,and it just worked so well,now i can get rid of you ,and useing your sole to my atvantage",Liviathin said coldly.Laughing at her look of angrer as a darkness sorounded them,then when the darkness disapeared they were inside a temple ,on the wall there were two seals inscribed on the wall,one was the seal of oricalchous ,the other,was unknown to Liviathin,but Yukina recognised t from the book she had read. Kurou looked to her."when you lose this dule, the ultamite seal will be released to Kallen,then when he gets everyone out of the way , ill use it on him then man kind will be wipped out!",he said as a dule disk apperaed onto his wrist."so you ready?",he aske calmly. Yukina stared at the wall for a moment and took a small braeth."yeah...lets dule",she said and activated her dule disk."you can start",she said coldly. Liviathin/Kurou smirked."gladely",he said drawing 5 cards and laughed."its already tthe beginning of the end for you Yukina,I play the deal of oricalchous,lucky first draw huh?",he said coldly as the seal appeared. Yukina growled."shit!" ------ Yusei sighed looking out the window.Then his eyes widend."oh no!",he said seeing an earry green glow just outside the town. |
Kyle's eyes went wide. "Shit!" She snapped. She got up and headed for her Runner. "We've got to stop whoever's dueling!"
"Yeah, that's what I was thinking," Crow said, grabbing his Duel Disk. "And I've got a bad feeling I know who it is..." |
Yusei headed out the door.'and who do you think it is?",he said as they ran.Feeling paniced hopeing theyed get there in time."you comming Ed?",he called back as they ran.
Jack ran along with them.Also haveing a feeling who it was. -------- Liviathin smieked."I play a card face down and I play a monster face down in attack defence mode",he stated calmly ."then i summon my Kuribo in attack mode,I play the magic card(it is original)"little fluffball attack,(lol dont ask) witch allows my kuribo to attack you right away!go Kuribo take away 300 of her life points!" Yukina griched as the kuribo attacked,feeling a pain in her chest and watched as a light blue aura left her and into both seals makeing her smile some. |
Edward grabbed the proto-deck he'd been working on--only about twenty cards--and followed. "Yeah, I'm coming!" He said, following behind Jack.

Yusei ran feeling worried."Ed,any idea where that is?",he said looking back to Edward with tence eyes,wanting to get there.
Jack ran along."winrey said she was fixing our bies,they needed a tune up",she said worried. -------- Yukina cringed as hse was hit from another attack from Liviathins monsters,the dule had been going on for only about 10 min. And she was losing badly.But she wanted to lose,knowing it may be the one way to get rid of the seal and free al those who were taken."i .... i play one card face down",she said softly,"aand end my turn",shesaid weakly. Laviatin watched coldly."heh this is sad,you cant win unless you have dark powers,oh well,guess i'll be able to win this in this turn",he said drawing a card and smirked. |
"That looks like it's in the outskirts of town," Edward replied.
Kyle started up her Runner, the familiar sound of the Harley engine rumbling nicely. "I'll go on ahead. Ed, get on." She said, slipping her helmet on. Ed nodded and agreed. "Knowing Winry, those tune-ups shouldn't take too long. Just, keep her from going overboard or she might take them apart to see how they work." He warned. "What?!" Crow yelped, his voice cracking. If his Runner, the Blackbird, got taken apart.... "Okay, enough of the scaring people." Kyle said. "Ed, hang on." With that, she shifted her Runner into gear and headed off in the direction of the green light. |
Yusei looked to Kyle."well get there as soon as we can",he said softly.Hoping if it was Yukina duleing that she was okay.
---- Yukina watched as Liviathin drew a card and tarted laough."wh-whats so funny?" Liviathin smiered."I sacrifice all my monsters on the field and summon EXODIA!" Yukinas eyes widened."n-no",she muttered.Stareing as the giant monster apeared. Liviathin laughed."now my plan can go into motion,Exzodia,obliderate and get rid of the rest of her life points!" Yukina stared forward,somewhat shocked.But smiled some as the blast hit her ,her points droped to zero and the rest of her soul went into the two seals. Liviathin watched as Yukina drpped to the ground unmovinng and looked to the glowing green seal.streamed into his hand and a card formed."perfect",he said and vaished. As he left the glowing golden seal also formed into acard and shot into Edwards deack. |
"Huh?" Edward asked. He didn't dare reach into his coat pocket to look at what that light was about.
"What's wrong?" Kyle asked. "Something got shot into my deck, I think. I don't know what it is though." Edward replied. "Well, we'll find out soon--oh, crap!" Kyle replied, stopping her Runner and running over to Yukina's prone form. "Yukina!" "Whoa, what happened to her?" Edward asked, running over and joining Kyle next to the unconcious girl. Chills ran down his spine when he saw that her eyes were completely blank. He glared with rage at the young man she'd apparently been dueling. "What did you do to her?!" He demanded. |
The man smierked."what i was told to do",he said coldlyHis form began to change and he was back into his dragon form."now that shes taken care of,i can start the rest of the plans into motion",he said and took off into the sky.

"You asshole! Get back here!" Edward shouted. Kyle held him back. "Let me go! I'm gonna take that thing down!"
"No, you aren't." Kyle replied. "In case you haven't noticed, that guy and fly and you can't. Plus, the deck you've got with you isn't complete yet. You wouldn't last long with a deck as small as the one you've got now." Edward grimaced and glared up at the Leviathin, which was now far enough away that it looked like it was about the size of an eagle. "Damn it," He growled. |
As the two stood there Yusei and Jack pulled up on thier bikes.
Yusie froze looking at Edward and KLyle,seeing Yukina on the groun he hopped off and ran over."wh-what happen?",he muttered.Seeming shocked. |
"My only guess is that she lost a duel." Kyle replied. "Right after Ed and I showed up, some kid turned into the Leviathin and flew off."
Right after Jack and Yusei pulled up, Crow followed. "Shit," He muttered under his breath. "So now we've got to get her soul back somehow. Something's telling me this is going to be hard." |
Yusei remained calm as he culd but blinked looking down at Yukines souless forum. Bending down beside her he gently lifteed the small stone pendent up and exsamined it.
Jack looked at Yuse then saw the pendent."hey didnt-"Jack was cut off by Yusei takeing the pendent off and running to his bike he took off. Jack stared."YUSEI!",he said but only sighed tehn looked Edward."you have a glowing card........" |
"Huh? Oh, right." Edward replied, having completey forgotten about it in the commotion. He took his deck out of his coat pocket and took out the card in question. It looked somewhat similar to the Seal of Orechalcos, except that there were different runes around the outside and the pentagram on the inside was an upside-down star. And, it was colored gold instead of the strange pale green of the Orichalcos. "The Seal of the Chthonians?" He read in confusion.
Crow on the other hand wasn't taking it so well. "Yusei! Yusei, get back here!" Crow yelled after his friend. "What's wrong with him?" |
Jack looked to Crow."that pendent,didnt it look familiar to you?",he asked."Kallen made that years ago,for that friend of his that he never gotthe name of......",he saidtrying to jog Crows memorie.
----- Yusei spead down the roads anger,and confushion going through him,as he went along he stopped outsie the shrine that Kallen was in and stopped."Kallen,Kallen get out here i need to talk to you!" |
"Yeah, I remember that." Crow replied. "But why did Yukina...oh, boy. This is NOT going to end well!" With that he ran to his Duel Runner and took off after Yusei.
