Jack sighed."well,in a way hes right,its a days ride to Central,hes takeing the train so he'll seep oin the train ",he said softly.

The soldier nodded and headed off down the hall.

'Then you can tell me how to gain him as an ally.' Kalin replied simply.

"That brings up another problem," Edward piped up. "None of you guys have money. At least, not what this country has as currency."

"This is going to be interesting...." Kyle sighed. "Looks like we're on our own for finding everyone else."

"I'll make a call to Colonel Bastard and the general," Edward said. "I have a nasty feeling that Yusei's going to get himself into trouble. Big trouble."

Jack looked to him.'what makes you say that?",he asked.

Yukina was silent.'I fight him ... tell him im as good as dead and hell be helping you'she said calmly.'and do me a favor,when your backstabbing lizard betrays you , just think of me yelling,'I told yah so' since I wont be around for it,bu=y that time he'll have gotten rid of me'

"I'm not sure, I just know." Edward replied.

Jack smiled but sghed."lets work on finding everyone and meet Yusei back in central",he said calmy."it may be our best bet"

Yukina made a small laugh.'good',she said calmly,then things became silent again.

Kyle nodded. "Before we set out, though, I'll help Ed get his deck sorted out. I'll also give him a few additional lessons." She looked at Ed pointedly. "And as for that card you got, I'd include it in your deck."

Edward nodded. "I already have," he replied, turning back into the house. "Teacher, can I use your phone? I have to make a call. Again."

"To who? As if I don't already know." Izumi sighed. "The Storm General's number is in the desk."

"Thanks," Edward said, and dialed said number. I hope that woman picks up. He thought.

Tira picked up the phone as it rang. "I see you still have this line," she said.

"Of course I do," Edward replied on the other end. "I don't need to remind you about Yusei and his friends, but Yukina's been taken hostage...sort of...and he's heading to Central."

"By train? Or that motorcycle of his?" Tira asked.

"Probably by that motorcycle, as I don't think he's got any money on him. Well, no money from this world at least." Edward replied. "He's going after the ones from his world that took Yukina hostage, and I was going to ask you to get him back down to Earth. Or try to at least."

"I'll try my best, but it may not be easy." Tira replied. She let her tongue touch one of her fangs. "He'll probably follow the train tracks into Central, as he doesn't know the country as well as you and Al do."

"That's what I was thinking." Edward replied. "We'll keep on trying to find the rest of his friends on our end, and meet up with Yusei in Central."

"Ah, speaking of which," Tira said. "I've got a young girl by the name of Ruka bunking with me here in Central. She arrived not too long ago from Liore."

"Great!" Edward replied. "I'll be seeing you back in Central, probably within the next day or two."

Tira nodded. "Right. I'll be expecting you." She said, and hung up. This is going to be interesting, that's for sure. And I just hope that boy doesn't fall asleep as he's driving that strange motorcycle of his. He'll be up all night if he is.

Yusei spead down the road,angrey. He needed to find his friends ,he needed to save Yukina ... but so far Kalin was the only who could save her,bu he knew it wasnt happening,not any time soon. Curseing he spead off faster,wanting to get to central.

Jack looked to Edward as he entered."any good news?",he asked."are they gonna keep an eye out for Yusei?Is Kalin there?",he asked,wanting some information.

"Yes, yes, and no." Edward said, answering Jack's questions in order. "But I told Tira that we'd be back in Central in a couple of days. Mostly to rest up for the next trip."

Jack nodded."whats the good news?",he asked.

"A girl named Ruka is in Central now, and she's under the care of Brigadier General Tira." Edward replied. Immediately Rua's scream of joy was let loose.

"YES!!!!" Rua shouted. He was silenced in an instant by a glare from Izumi, as well as one from Kyle. "Sorry...." He said meekly.

Jack smieled at Rua."well that is one of the best news we've heard all day",he said feeling relaxed."that will be a nice surprise for Yusei"

"Yeah, if he doesn't get himself killed by going after Kalin." Edward sighed. "Is he usually this hotheaded?"

"You mean does he always act like you? No." Crow replied. "Normally he's the most level-headed of all of us. I don't like how he's got this full head of steam right now."

Edward fumed at the comment. "I'm NOT a hothead!"

"Yes you are." Paninya said. Edward glared.

Jack sighed."hes probabby worried about Yukina, I mean , he sees her after .... years ... finds out shes alive,and then shes gone again .... and he feels powerless to do anything,I dont blame him or how he feels,mind you I wish he'd think before he acts ...",he said but blinked hearing the phone ring.

"Don't we all wish that," Kyle agreed, surprising herself. It wasn't everyday that she agreed with Jack Atlas, King of the Huge Egos.

Izumi picked up the phone. "Edward, it's from Colonel Mustang." She said. Edward walked over grumbling.

"What do you want, Bastard?" He snarled into the phone. "Didn't you have enough fun being a pain in my ass a few minutes ago?"

Jack looked towards the edward sighing.

"Hello to you too, Fullmetal." Roy replied. "I have a question for you; does the name Leviathin ring any bells?"

"What?!" Edward yelped into the phone. "How'd you--"

"I did what you're so familiar with; looked it up in the library." Roy replied. "And I found something interesting about this Leviathin; from what I could translate, it's some kind of serpent or dragon." He paused to let it sink in. "I want you back in Central as soon as possible, Fullmetal."

Jack looked to Edward when he yelled."whats wrong?",he asked nervously.

"The colonel's been doing some reasearch into our friend." Edward replied. "How soon do you want me back there?"

"I just told you as soon as possible." Mustang replied. "Try and make it no later than tomorrow. I don't care how late, just get here. I don't trust to talk about the details over a phone line."

"Right," Edward replied. "I should be back in Central late tomorrow evening." Without waiting for a reply he hung up. "Just great....."

Jack stared."im guessing we have to get beack to central real soon?"

"Yeah; I told Mustang I'd be back late tomorrow evening." Edward replied. He rubbed his eyes. "Agh, this is not going to be fun."

"Think about it this way; once we're all back in Central the gang'll be back together." Kyle replied. "We might have a better chance at tracking down Akiza too."

Jack nodded."thats true...",he said csalmly.

"Until then..." Edward said, retreating to the sitting room again, "I'm going to finish this deck. Who knows what we might meet up with in Central." He added under his breath.

Jack nodded."right",he said softly. Sitting down.Not knowing what to do next.
