"I...I came to apologize, Yusei." Kalin said evenly. "You were telling the truth; the cops did set you up." He bowed. "I understand if you can't forgive me for everything......"

Jack and Yusei both were slack jaw at Kalin's appology.
Yusei blinked then snapped backto reality."Kalin .... your my friend and i really do forgive you,but why the changeof heart?how come you now believe me?", he asked curiously. |
Kalin straightened and shifted his weight. "I...talked with Yukina." he replied. "She convinced me of the truth...in her own way."
Crow was bug-eyed at the news. "Well, good to see that you're using your brain again." He said. "Took you long enough...." "Oh can it." |
Yusei smiled."well im glad she did",he said calmly then got grin/smirk onhis face."so whats going on with you and Yukina?",he asked slyly.
Jack looked at Yusei then alsosmirked at Kalin." yeah ,inqwizative minds want to know" |
Kalin blushed. "Well...uh...well I....." He stammered.
"C'mon, Kalin." Crow prompted. "It's not a secret you know Yukina. Hell, if I didn't know any better I'd say---" "I DON'T HAVE A CRUSH ON YUKINA!" Kalin burst out, turning bright red. |
Jack seemed to smirk."really?so if someone elsewere to start flurting with her... you would not be theleast bit jelous?or wouldnt be s crazely protective of her as you are rihgt now?"

"No...I mean yes....I mean no! I don't have a crush on Yukina so I wouldn't be jealous!" Kalin stammered.
Crow grinned. "So, then, if I was to go visit Yukina right now and ask her out on a date once she was out of the hospital," he said, "then you wouldn't go nuts?" "I--you--no, I mean.....GAH! I hate you guys!" Kalin yelled. |
Jack laughed."hey if you have no feelings for herjust say so,imjust saying that it seems like you do",he said with a sarcastic smile.

"Debatable. Considering how I'm the target of the torment right now." he grumbled. "Jack, you do realize that you're an ass, right?" Kalin asked, still blushing bright red.
"Finally, someone who agrees with me." Crow said. "Though...judging by the shade your face is turning, I'd have to say that you do have a soft spot for Yukina." "I do not! You're being as bad as Jack!" Kalin protested. Crow shrugged. "Say what you want, though I'd suggest that you ask Yukina out already before--" He was cut off by Kalin's shoe in his face. |
Yusei waslaughing as hard as he could thenslowly stopedseeing Yukina at thedoorwith a sadened look on her face.He thenfelt like kicking him-self for not seeing her sooner.He also would have stoped teasing Kalin sooner ,knwing that Yukina had asoft spot for Klain big time ,then sighed knowing that hearing all of this mayhavehurt her ."H-hi Yukina,w-we were just taking about you",he said nervously.
Yukina sighed."gee,nokidding",she said and seemedhurt about something.'good to see your allfriendsagain",she said softly andheaded bac to her room. Jack froze fromhis laughter and turned seeing Yukina as well."great,now we have her mad at us,and shes scarry when she gets upset,espicially from that alchemy skills sh has that you told us about Yusei" Yusei sighed again."yeah",he said thenblinked hearing the alchemy sound."greaat" Jack looked to him."ill go see what she did",he saidgoing out into the hall...after a few moments camback andsat down."I highly sudgest we let her be...." "Well...that went nicely." Crow said.
"You guys started it....." Kalin replied. Meanwhile, one of the nurses walking the halls came to an abrupt stop in front of Yukina's room. She stood and stared for a few moments, blinking. She then ran back up the hallway the way she came, shouting "Doctor! Yukina's pulled an Edward!" |
Yusei looked at Kalin."yes...but your the one who went allout to disown any feelings you have for her whenits obious she cares alot about you...."
Jack lifted a fingure. "he has a point there....odly enough" |
"...Just shut up." Kalin griped, leaning against the wall.

At that moment Tira came into the room, followed by Kyle. "You know, on my way here I saw something rather interesting." Tira said. "It seems Yukina has done something I'd expect Edward to pull; barricade her door with alchemy. I figured you guys might have something to do with it."
"And judging by the shade of red on Kalin's face, I'd have to say you do." Kyle said. "Hell, why is Kalin even in here?!" |
Yusei sniled."no woorried weallworked things out..well between us guys anywase",he said sighing.

"That still leaves the confusion as to why Yukina's barricaded her room." Kyle pointed out.

Jack sighed."Klaoin came in andpologize,we accepted ,then Yusei asked about Klaion and Yukina ,Kalin whent nervous acting wierd saying he didnt have feelingsfor her,all the while Yukina was watching we didnt notice till the end,she looked upset and wnet to her room"

Kyle sighed. "You guys are really bad with girls." She said. "After all, we all know Yusei has a crush on Akiza."

"A-ha! So you do have a crush on Akiza." Kyle said. "You know, once we track her down, I just might let that tidbit of info slip to her...."

"Geez...you've fought Dark Signers, Jack--who I think is worse when he's had too little sleep--and a Homunculus. And you've been thrown into another universe and lived. So why the heck're you so afraid of talking to Akiza?" |
