"Are you sure that thing can hold us?" Paninya asked. "And do you remember anything about how that thing works?"

"Damn," Edward muttered. "Whoever it is, I hope they'll be all right."

Jack noded."yes to both",she said starting it up with ease.

Winry bt her lip but got on,holding on tightly.

Yuina glanced back at the three,then back at the battle before her." Dark Eradicator Warlock ,try aiming for the green glowing dot onits forehead!",she said and looked around seeing a hooded figure watching the battle.

Yusei nodded looking at his arm. Yukina... he thought with wrry.

Paninya got on after Winry, seeing the hooded figure watching in the shadows. She saw that the same mark on his forehead was on the creature's as well. "Yukina, be careful!" She called as Jack sped off.


"Whichever of your friends that's in trouble, I hope they'll be all right." Rose said.


Suddenly, someone knocked at the door, jerking all three teenagers out of their thoughts. "Sounds like dinner's here," Edward said, answering the door.

Ruka nodded.'me too",she said softly.

Yusei jumped and looked to the door."great",he said with a smile and watched as the food came in,he thenblinked seeing Al come in behind it."hey Al .... ",he said smileing. "if you were here earlyer,Ed would have orderd you something,but i think theres still time to order"

Yukina looked back at them and smiled."always!",she said and looked back to the fight.

Jack made sure they were on tightly before speeding off.

"Kind of." Edward said, digging into his ravioli. "Turns out one of Yusei's friends is down there, and it sounds like he might be in trouble."

"You sure about that?" Crow asked Alphonse.

"Er..." Edward looked at his younger brother, knowing that this was going to take a lot of explaining.

Al nodded."yes im full ...",he then looked to Yusei and then to his deck and blinked seeing the card getting brighter."Um...uh....er...'

Yusei paused in eating and looked at his card oulling it out."somethings up for sure",he saidworried and blinked seeing a beam of light shoot out from the card through the window(without breaking it) and stopped a few feet from the window,and began to take shape."this isnt good"he said standing up and going to the windowwatching as Stardust Dragon foarmed ,hudge,and very mean looking,hearing the screanms of the towns people he looked down then back to Stardust dragon,and blinked as it suddenly flew towards Ruch Valley.'Hey!",Yusei yelled out the window.

Al stared in shock."br-bother w-what was that?"

Yukina smirked as she deeasted teh other monster and hers returned into a card form. She blinked seeing a green stone land infront of her."so this is what was controlling it",she said and blinked hearing the figure laugh. She looked towards it."who are you?",she said with a glare.

The figre just smerked."my dear Prinicess of Azara .... guardian of te sacred beast's ,its a pleasure to see you alive and well once again,although , you probley dont have your past selfs memories",he said walking towards her. And held out another card.."Destiny Hero-Dead Servant,come forth and capture Yukina now!",he yelled as the crd glowed green and the beast apaered befor her.

Yukina stared in a bit of shock and confusion,and as she reached for her deack ,the Dread servant,lunged at her."Crap!",she yelled and started running grabbing the stone as she did.The beast began to fire at her,missing,but cause a pice of stone fly up and scratch her face. She continued and tripped.she looked up as it stood over.DAMN IT!,she thought and closed her eyes. But then.she heard the roar of the Stardust Dragon. Blinking she looked behind her,and smiled seeing it fly at the Dread servant ,sending it back and then blasting it,destroyinbg it with ease.When it looked at her shee stared at it."thank you",she said softly and watched as it became a beam of light and went towards central again.Standing up she looked to the stone then back towads the figure but he was gone. Sighing she began to head back for Winrys.

Yusei sighed as he stared out the window,then blinked seeing the light coming towards him. Backing up he watched as the light became his card. Holding it he looked to his arm and saw that it was no longer glowing. But he still had a worried look on his face.

"That's what I was wondering, Al." Edward replied, a bit shaken by the experience.

"Think that might've had anything to do with Yukina?" Crow asked.


"What the hell is that?!" Paninya asked over the engine of the motorcycle. A white dragon had appeared in a beam of light, destroyed whatever was attacking Yukina, and vanished in the same beam of light. "It looked like a dragon of some kind."

Yusei blinked. "Im not sure",he said and looked to Ed."that,was a dule monster ....",he said showing him the deck.

Yukina sighed as she walked towards Winrys,staring at at the stone.But growled as it started to rain. Looking up she ran to Winrys.

Winry sat at the window waiting for Yukina with worry,espessialy as the rain started she blinked seeing her run up and jumping up she went to the door letting her in."Yukina!good you okay",she said calmly but blinked seeing the scratch."only a scratch?thatta surprise",she said and linked and looked to Jack-who in the mean time had remeberd mostly everything- as he walked up to Yukina.

Jack stared down at her and pointed a finure at her."You!how the blody hell did you summon that dulemonster i tried with my dukle runner and nothing!im guessing its because were here,but how the hell did you do it!",he yelled.

Winry looked away knowing what was coming next...

Yukina grabbed jack by his fingure."first things first,dont point! its rude!",she said bending his fingure back causeing him to grop to his knees."and second,i have no idea,i've been able to do that since i was little , and no duh your runner didnt summon your cards, your not in YOUR WORLD ANYMORE!",she said bending his fingure back even more casueing him to flop over in pain before she finally let go."now back off!",she said and grabbed her bag to change into her dry and very warm P.J's.

Ed flipped through the cards. "They look kind of cool," He said. He stopped at Nitro Warrior. "Hey, why're they all different colors? And what do they all do?"

Crow laughed. "Looks like you've got yourself an apprentice, Yusei!" He said.

"A wha--no way! I was just asking what the color-coding meant!" Edward replied hotly. Crow just laughed even more.


"Well, I'm glad you're remembering things, Jack," Paninya said as Jack nursed his finger. "But don't you think you could've left your ego at the door?"

Winry laughed a little and looked up as Yukina came out and sat on the couch. She then looked to Painya."you can take the spare room,uh Jack theres another couch over there and ,it looks like Yukinas good where she is so,I sudegest we all get some sleep."

Jack at up grumbeling and muttering as he flopped onto the other couch.

Yusei laughed."i can tell you all about it after,lets head for the station first after we get our runners" he said heading to the door.Now eager to go.

"Uh...I don't have my Runner with me...." Crow pointed out. "I'm guessing it's still back up at Briggs."

"I'll call Winry and tell her we're on our way while you guys get ready to head out." Edward replied. "And do I really want to know what you were doing at Briggs?"

"Uh, other than being in arrested?" Crow laughed nervously. He could feel Yusei glaring at the back of his head.


"Not much of a talker now," Paninya sighed.

Winry laughed nervously."Guess not",she said and looked to Yukina who was exsamining the stone she had picked up."what do you have there?",she asked going over.

Yukina blinked and looked at Winry."not sure,t was powering that,monster that came out of the forest ... it may sound strange but,it's like i've seen this before ... ",she said looking at it closely before setting it on the table infront of her.

Winry blinked."well ive never seen anything like it,thats for sure",she said softly.

Yusei sighed."how did you get aressted in the first place?",he asked as he started walking."and they may have brought your runner on the train,lets find out so we can get going",he said walking.

Al looked to them."hey I know where General Armstrong is .... I can take you to her so you can find out,then we can all go"

"Neither have I," Paninya added. "You seen anything like this, Jack?" She asked, holding up the stone. As she did so, it burned her hand. "Ouch!"


Crow deflated once again. "Do I have to?" He asked. He was well and truely afraid of the woman General. And apparently Edward was too, because they had identical looks on their faces.

Yukina jumpped but looked to her then picked up the stone.'it burned you?strange",she said placeing it back on the table."well its deffentally not the pholosiphrs stone..."

Winry looked at the stone."i havn't seen it before either"

Jack looked at the stone.'no,never....its an odd looking thing though"

Yusei stared."i guess you can walk then i'll take ed or al with me to show me the way when we reach Ruch valley",he said softly

Yusei smiled.'yeah...so lets go get my runner",he said and headed outside.

Al laughed as he followed looking back to Crow."you coming?"

Yusei nodded and kept walking looking down at his arm ,and thinking anout how his Stardust Dragon had been summoned.

Winry blinked hearing the phone and went to it."hello?",she said answering.

"Heya Winry." Edward replied. "I managed to get tickets for the last train down to Rush Valley today. We should be down there sometime early tomorrow morning."


"Still wondering about how Stardust was summoned?" Crow asked.

"your comming down?great! we just ran into some trouble about a hour ago",she said soundling releaved.

Yusei nodded."yes .... I know I didn't do it",he said softly. and Yukina was miles away so she couldn't have done it,could she? Yusei though as they reached his dule runner.

Edward stiffened. "What kind of trouble?" He asked.


"Then who d'you think could have?" Crow asked.

Winry sighed."well we all went to see if we could help Jack find Clue's for his memories,we did,a dule deck like Yukina has and a ... dule runner,anywase while we were there this creature came out f the forest and attack us,Yukina delt wiith it,and the only injurry was a scratch on her face,but it reminded me of a monster on the cards Yukina had,none of her's exsactly,just the look of it ... ",she said looking into the livering room."there was also someguy in a cloke thier contolling the beast,he seemed very interested in Yukina ....."she said sitting on her counter.

Yusei sighed."I have no idea ",he said as they walked.

"How interested?" Edward asked. "Like how the Homunculi are interested in Al and I?"


"That makes two of us." Crow replied.

"seemed that way"Winry said quitely."she didnt say much about it ,but I think its troubeling her",she said and sighed.

Yusei looked at Crow."when my symbol started glowing i know i wished i could help whoever it was that was in danger ,but .... i dont think thats enough to bring a card to life"

Al looked at them."are they not nrmally real?",he asked curious.

"No, usually they're just holograms." Crow replied. "Kind of like three-dimentional images projected onto...well, the air I guess." He clarified lamely.


"Well, keep your guard up until we get there." Edward replied. "Al, Yusei, and an idiot named Crow are tagging along."
