Naruto was confused that Sasuke seemed confused. What did he think was wrong? There was a giant gash in his arm, for crying out loud! The blond wrapped an arm around his prince when he had slumped forward and he used his other to raise the wounded arm. He examined it closely, checking to see how bad it was. It didn't look too bad, definitely not dirty, so there was no way it was going to get infected. So Naruto tore off a strip of the blanket and tied it around the wound to stop the blood flow. "You feeling okay?"

Sasuke looked at the blonde as he heard a ripping sound and then he felt a slight tug on the bed. He then felt something being wrapped around his arm, where the cut was. Sasuke looked at the blonde and nodded his head as he said,"Yes, I am feeling fine." Sasuke looked at the blonde and winced a little bit as he looked at the blonde and smiled. "Thanks for bandaging up my arm." Sasuke pushed himself off of the blonde as he went to go and lay down on the bed again as he looked up at the blonde. "Come back to bed, love," said Sasuke.

Naruto smiled lightly in relief that the cut wasn't too bad. "No problem. Just happy to help." he said. He glanced curiously at Sasuke though when he moved away from him, but understanding crossed the blond's face a moment later. "Alright." He went over and laid down again, wrapping arm securely around his lover's body so that he wouldn't roll off the bed again. He most definitely didn't want to patch up another wound.

Sasuke sighed as he felt the blonde wrap his arm securely around his waist. He let out a sigh as he turned over and snuggled closer to Naruto as he smiled, and fell back asleep. "Naruto," he murmured. "Promise me that we will already be together forever."

Naruto was just about to drift back off to sleep again when he heard Sasuke speak. He blinked a few times to wake himself up some and it took a moment before the words actually registered in his mind. A small smile formed on the blond's face and he gently kissed his lover's forehead. "I promise. Nothing or no-one will seperate us."

Sasuke smiled when he heard the blonde say that nothing and no-one would separate the two of them. He snuggled deeper into the other's chest as he draped one of his arms over the blonde's side and chest as he drifted off to sleep. He was in a deep sleep within minutes, and he didn't want to wake up for the meeting that was to come for the next day. Hearing Naruto say that he would always be there to protect him made him think briefly that he didn't need the other nations to protect their union. However, he also knew that he would need their help in the long run.

Naruto was in a deep sleep in a matter of moments after closing his eyes. But that didn't stop him from waking up the moment his internal clock said that it was morning. He sighed and slowly opened his eyes. It took a few moments for his brain to wake up as well and he glanced down at the man in his arms. A smile formed on the blond's face at the sight of Sasuke's sleeping face. He really was quite cute at times. Naruto really didn't want to wake him up, so he laid perfectly still, just waiting patiently until he was able to move freely.

Sasuke slept peacefully for the rest of the night. He could hear Naruto's heartbeat and the shift of his body. Not wanting to wake up he snuggled deeper into Naruto. Moaning out in his sleep he called out to Naruto. "N-Naruto give me more," whispered Sasuke as he turned over in his sleep. After a few more moments he cracked his eyes open and looked around. He saw that the other was awake and he smiled at him as he said,"Good morning, Naruto. How did you sleep?" He, obviously, was completely unaware that he had said anything before saying good morning.

Confusion crossed Naruto's face for a moment as he watched Sasuke sleep. Give him more? What did he mean by that? Realization struck him and a small blush formed on his face. The blond quickly pushed it away though when his lover had woken up and was looking at him. He put a smile on his face and kissed Sasuke gently on the forehead before sitting up. "I slept good." he said, looking down at his prince. "I'm guessing you slept good as well."

Sasuke smiled when he felt the blonde's lips on his forehead. He leaned upwards and caught the blonde's lips in his own as he licked the other's bottom lip. "That's good," he said as he pulled away from the other male. Getting out of bed he winced a little bit as he stumbled a little bit. Smiling at the other he showed the other that he was doing alright. Sasuke then stretched a little bit, and then noticed that he was still unclothed. Picking up his boxers that were on the ground he slipped them on. "What time do you think it is right now? We need to go to the meet the other delegates."

Naruto smiled lightly when Sasuke had kissed him. Even though it was kind of unexpected, it was still nice. Worry crossed his face though when his lover stumbled. It faded though at the sight of the smile and the blond stretched out as well before getting out of bed. "I'm guessing it's still early." Naruto said, pulling on his own boxers. "We should probably bathe first though before meeting with anybody. And I want to get that cut looked at just in case it gets infected." The last thing he wanted was for Sasuke to get sick because he was being irresponsible.

Sasuke was glad that the blonde didn't press the matter on why he stumbled. He was still rather sore down there, but he figured that it would pass with the time. Nodding his head he agreed with the blonde. "I agree," said Sasuke as he began walking around the room looking for his bathing supplies. It would help a lot since the two of them were covered in God knew what, and he always took a bath before doing anything else. It was part of his routine. He rolled his eyes a little when he heard the blonde say that he was worried about the cut getting infected. It wasn't even that bad. "Naruto," said Sasuke with a sigh. "The cut is fine. It's probably gone by now. I just slipped out of bed a little bit. It's nothing too serious." There was one thing that he hated more than Orochimaru, and that thing was doctors and nurses.

Naruto started gathering his own bathing supplies, watching Sasuke worriedly from the corner of his eye. He wanted to be there in case the other fell, but that didn't look like it was going to happen. Plus, taking a bath should help with any pain that Sasuke was feeling, so it was best that they get there quickly. He frowned though. That cut didn't look like it was nothing and he was going to make his prince get it looked at whether he wanted too or not. But it was best to wait til after the bath so that they didn't see the doctor dirty. "Alright... If you say so."

Sasuke was glad that the other male had dropped the subject about his cut. He didn't like people fussing over him. It reminded him too much of living back in the palace. Sasuke had been born premature, and as such had been under close watch since he was an infant. He was always coddled and taken care of. Led by the hand up and down the stairs. It was completely stifling. It drove him insane! "Thanks for understanding," said Sasuke as he walked towards the door and opened it as he waited for the blonde to come out with him. He wanted to get to the baths, but he was worried if he would fall again, and so he wanted the blonde near him in the event that he did.

Naruto nodded and finished gathering up his bathing things before following Sasuke out of the room. He kept a close eye on his prince while they walked, looking for any sign that he was going to fall. If so, the blond wanted to be there to catch him. He hated the thought that the other was in pain, mostly because if he was, then it would have been all his fault. Naruto didn't think that he was too rough on Sasuke last night, but you could never be too sure.

Sasuke continued to walk down the hallway and faltered a little more as he continued to walk. He hoped that the blonde behind him didn't notice him trip a little bit. As he continued to walk down the hallways some more towards the bathing room his leg and thigh began to hurt. Falling against the wall he sucked in air a little bit as he tried to push himself into a standing position again, but couldn't even manage to do that. Clearly the blonde was going to notice this.

Naruto watched Sasuke as he headed down the hall, worry showing on his face. He knew that he should trust his lover when he said that he was fine, but the blond couldn't sake the feeling that there was something wrong. His worries were proven correct when his prince leaned against the wall. Naruto stopped beside Sasuke, the worry he was feeling just grew. "What's wrong?" he asked. He was very tempted just to pick the other up and carry him to the infirmary, but he wanted to know what was wrong first.

Sasuke looked up from where he was leaning against the wall. "I guess it is more than nothing," he murmured with a small laugh. He managed to get into a standing position again. "I'm just a little sore that's all. You know from what we were doing last night." He blushed a little bit as he turned his head. "It's nothing too serious. I promise."

Worry was still showing clearly on Naruto's face, but he nodded his head slowly. If the pain got any worse, than he would make sure that Sasuke went to the infirmary, whether he wanted to or not. The blond smiled lightly though at the sight of the blush on his lover's face. "Alright. Let's get going to the bath then."

Sasuke felt like a complete idiot. He knew that it wasn't the other's fault, but even so he was still cursing Naruto's existence because if it wasn't for the other male he would have never fallen in love. Then again, if Naruto wasn't there, he would have probably been married off to Orochimaru long ago. Thinking that he shivered a little bit as he continued the rest of the way to the bathing room. At the end of a hallway there was a heavy looking door with a brass handle. Turning the nob he walked into the room and inhaled the hot steamy air. They had come to the bathing room. Looking around he didn't see anyone, which he liked. Setting his bucket down he stripped down quickly and then walked into the low pool by using the stairs.

Naruto frowned lightly when he seen Sasuke shiver. Was the other male cold? The halls weren't that chilly plus they were heading to a hot bath, so the blond pushed the thought from his mind. He hoped that the hot water would help his lover relax and hopefully it would take the edge of the pain. Once in the bathing room, Naruto set his things down before getting into the water. He let out a sigh of contentment as he looked over at Sasuke to see if the hot water was helping.

Sasuke let out a content sigh as he slipped deeper and deeper into the water. He really loved hot water. Letting his eyes slide closed he let out a sigh of pure contentment. Whoever had the idea that hot spring bath water was perfect for relaxing was a pure genius. Opening his eyes again he looked over at Naruto to see if he was enjoying his time in the water as well. "Do you like the water?" asked Sasuke as he waded over towards the bucket with his bathing supplies and grabbed out a bottle of jasmine smelling shampoo.

Naruto smiled lightly at Sasuke, glad that the other seemed to relax so quickly in the hot water. That must mean that he was no longer in pain, right? That was always good. "Yeah. It's very nice." he said. The blond really could stay in here all day if he could. But sadly he couldn't, seeing as how they had to meet with the Hyuga's allies later. So with a sigh, Naruto went to his bathing supplies and got his shampoo, ready to wash up and move out. He didn't want to spend too long in the bath, otherwise there would be no way that he'd be able to drag himself out later.

Sasuke continued to wash his hair as he inhaled deeply loving the smell of his shampoo. It brought back good memories of his mother, father, and brother before everything went so wrong. It brought back memories of when they would have family outings to places around the kingdom, and then they would come home and all lounge around in the baths together. Smiling a little bit he finished washing his hair as he ducked underneath the water, rinsing the shampoo out of his hair. He then went and grabbed the soap that was there as well. Grabbing the washcloth he placed some of of it on the cloth and then began washing his arms and face.

Naruto glanced over at Sasuke once he had finished washing his own hair. A small smile formed on his face when he seen how relaxed the other seemed to be. "You know... I could do that for you." he offered, referring to washing Sasuke off. He really wouldn't mind and it would give him a reason to get closer to his lover. But of course, he wasn't going to force himself on the other.
