"Most of them, yeah," Aleron agreed. "Lake of Rage is a good hike from here. Might be nice to go visit once we've got a shiny Magikarp." Because while she loved the ranch, her feet were starting to get just a little itchy.
"Sounds like fun," Trent said, grinning. "And entire lake of Magikarp? It must be completely isolated for such vulnerable pokemon to thrive that well."
"It's pretty out there," Aleron agreed with a grin. "You'd like it. Hundreds of Magikarp. And last time we were there, which was a while back, we got like seven water stones from the bottom of the lake."
Trent blinked.
"That's impressive," he said. "I mean, I know water stones form in lakes and rivers, but still, that's a lot for one place. Nobody must have looked there for a long time." |
"Probably not. Red was pretty fiercely protective of that lake." Aleron smiled rather fondly. "We've been kind of tempted on occasion to ask some of the pokemon to look for more stones. Not that we need any at the moment, but we will to get one of each Eeveelution."
"I don't know where you would find any of the others," Trent said, shaking his head. "I mean, I'd imagine you find fire stones near volcanoes or something, but I have no idea about any of the others."
"Yeah, I'm not sure either. But they have to come from somewhere, right?" Aleron shrugged. "We'll find them eventually. Or buy them, if we have to."
"They're expensive to buy," Trent pointed out. "That's part of why I haven't evolved Lombre yet. I would need a stone, and I'm working on training him up some more anyways."
Aleron nodded. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Well, we can always see about finding a stone for you somewhere."
"Cool," Trent said, grinning. "I need a water stone for him. But he's the only one; the others are already fully evolved, and Wooper won't need one to evolve."
"Well, whenever you want, I've still got five or so water stones sitting around." Aleron shrugged. "Let me know."
"Awesome, thanks," Trent said, grinning.
Aleron grinned back at him.
"Now, I'm going to go dry off and change and get warm again, because it's too cold." |
Trent rolled his eyes, but nodded.
"I'll be in in a few minutes," he said. |
Aleron nodded and headed inside to get dried off and change. Jolteon stayed outside, shaking himself off before sitting to wait.
Trent reluctantly got out of the water a few minutes later, checking on his group and Red one more time before heading inside to dry off and put on real clothes.
Aleron got dressed again before she moved outside to make sure everything was clean and organized once again.
