"Ha. No." Aleron gave Margaret a very droll look. She planned on teaching him Surf at some point, but she wasn't crossing to another region that way. Definitely not.

And knowing her Gyarados, he'd go underwater just to be a dick.

Mageling 05-28-2012 07:58 AM

Margaret shrugged, grinning a bit.

"Just an option," she replied.

Woofie267 05-28-2012 08:00 AM

Aleron just rolled her eyes and kept walking. At least it was a nice day and they hadn't run into another legendary yet.

Mageling 05-28-2012 08:27 AM

Thankfully, the trip to Vermilion was uneventful, and Margaret was grateful for that. No legendaries, no Rockets, nothing of the sort. Just walking and the occasional Rattata. Life was good.

Woofie267 05-28-2012 08:28 AM

Aleron walked over and looked at the available tickets. One boat to Hoenn, one to Sinnoh, and one to Unova. She looked over at Margaret.

"Well, what do you think?"

Mageling 05-28-2012 08:38 AM

Margaret looked at the tickets, a little blankly. She didn't know anything about Sinnoh or Unova, and knew next to nothing about Hoenn. But it seemed like next to nothing would do it.

"Hoenn?" she asked Aleron.

Woofie267 05-28-2012 08:42 AM

"Sure." Aleron bought her ticket and then moved off to the side.

"Hey, I wonder how big the boats are?" Because she didn't really want to be stuck over water for too long. Especially not considering she had a fire type, a fire/dark, and an electric type. And it was just a given that Gyarados would love it.

Mageling 05-28-2012 08:49 AM

"Headed to another region?" Margaret asked as she got her ticket. She shrugged. "Cruise liners, probably. Has to be big enough for open ocean."

Woofie267 05-28-2012 09:54 AM

Aleron nodded. "Alright. Hopefully they'll have somewhere we can let our pokemon run around, because I'm pretty sure at least two of mine are going to be very unhappy."

Mageling 05-28-2012 07:29 PM

"I'm sure they do," Margaret replied, nodding. "They have to, I think it's the law that any passenger ship designed for trips lasting longer than a day have to have places for trainers to let their pokemon out."

Woofie267 05-28-2012 07:32 PM

"Well, hopefully this area will be big and at least somewhat deserted at night." Because Aleron liked fire-types, dammit, not water. She briefly made a face at the ocean.

Mageling 05-28-2012 07:43 PM

"Just watch for the people with dark-types and ghost-types," Margaret replied. "I'll bet anything they'll be out and about at night." She didn't mind anything but dark-types, really, much like Aleron didn't like water-types, so she would make sure to stay indoors at night.

Woofie267 05-28-2012 07:48 PM

Aleron nodded. "I'll keep that in mind." Really, dark types didn't bother her. She did have Houndour, after all. But she could understand Margaret's aversion to them.

Mageling 05-28-2012 08:08 PM

Boarding the ship didn't take long, and Margaret was pleased that the room she was put in was up near the top deck. It meant less going up and down through the ship to get to the areas of the ship she could let her pokemon out, although she would be careful about Metagross. He would be more likely to start rusting, at sea.

Woofie267 05-28-2012 08:12 PM

Aleron's room was next to Margaret's, for which she was insanely thankful. She let her three out once she was in her room, and Vulpix and Houndour both looked upset. Jolteon didn't seem to care, starting to trot around to sniff at things.

Mageling 05-28-2012 08:24 PM

Margaret let Natu and Exeggcute out in her room alongside Espeon. She would wait until she was up on deck to release Metagross. Once her pokemon were settling in, she went next door to see Aleron.

"It's a really nice ship," she commented.

Woofie267 05-28-2012 08:26 PM

"It is. At least it's comfortable." Aleron looked over at her. "And I don't have to stare out at the ocean all day, which is a plus."

Jolteon got up as soon as he heard Margaret and went to go find Espeon.

Mageling 05-28-2012 08:38 PM

Maragret grinned.

"It won't be so bad," she said. "And it should only take a few days. Maybe a week." The ship was fast, but even it could only move so quick across the ocean to another region.

Espeon was already waiting for Jolteon, and pounced on him as he came through the door.

Woofie267 05-28-2012 08:44 PM

Aleron sighed. Oh this was going to be the longest trip of her life...

Jolteon yipped and tried to squirm out from under her, starting to play with her again.

Mageling 05-28-2012 08:47 PM

Espeon let him squirm away and then dashed off, starting the chase.

Margaret patted her friend on the shoulder.

"It's alright," she said, "really."

Woofie267 05-28-2012 08:52 PM

Jolteon raced after her, having far too much fun now.

"Well, at least it's only a week." A week she could handle. But not much longer than that.

Mageling 05-28-2012 09:06 PM

"If you want to stay here, I'm going to call the Professor and let him know we're headed out to Hoenn," Margaret suggested. "Maybe he can tell us the best place to go first."

Woofie267 05-28-2012 09:11 PM

Aleron nodded. "Alright, that sounds fine to me." She was already planning on wandering around some so she could see where would be best to let her pokemon out and when she could let Gyarados out.

Mageling 05-28-2012 09:19 PM

"Alrighty," Maragret replied. "Keep an eye on Espeon if you see her, I think she went with Jolteon." With that, she went to go find a vid phone to call the Professor.

Woofie267 05-28-2012 09:21 PM

Aleron nodded and waited for the two pokemon to come back.

The Professor was having a grand old time with Mew. Most of the other pokemon he had there had taken to Mew wonderfully, and Mew didn't mind being poked and prodded a bit. Although he had been careful not to piss it off.
