Once the computer claimed to have erased everything, Margaret double-checked using every keyword and truncation she could think of to find the information again. When nothing turned up, she turned off the computer.

"I think I got everything," she said to Aleron, going to the next room.

"Good. I'm thinking we should smash the computers, too, just in case. That'll make it a lot harder for them to try this again." Aleron looked over at her to get her opinion on the matter. Suicune and Ho-oh were both clearly up to the task, looking at the two trainers.

Margaret nodded, and pulled a pokeball off her belt.

"No offense," she said to the two little legendaries, "but I think you should save your energy for later, in case we really need it. Metagross can handle this."

Ho-oh huffed while Suicune considered that and trotted over to sit next to Aleron instead. Oh well. They could still watch. Aleron moved out of the way so that she wouldn't be in danger of flying parts hitting her.

Once the others were out of range, Margaret released Metagross. The big part-steel-type rumbled and shook himself.

"Smash up all the computers," Margaret said, getting out of the way. "Hammer Arm, Thunder Punch, I don't care, just destroy them." Metagross rumbled in return and set to work destroying all the hardware.

Aleron watched with a grin, rather enjoying this part. Once the computers were very thoroughly trashed, she grinned.

"Okay, I think that's everything but getting outside and then figuring out where we're going to go with all those eggs."

Margaret recalled Metagross once everything was smashed to bits and nodded.

"Let's get outside, then," she said.

Aleron nodded and managed to find a way outside, shielding her eyes briefly. Ow. Sunlight hurt just a bit after being inside for so long. Then she blinked a few times and looked around.

"...We're in a desert."

Margaret shaded her eyes and tried to look around.

"Yes we are," she said after a moment. That was a problem. "I have no idea where to go now. I don't know anything about Orre."

"Neither do I." Aleron frowned. "Well, I guess first thing to do is to get to Mewtwo and the others and see where they think we should go." She started walking.

It didn't take them long to run across Mewtwo again, who had a small army of eggs floating behind him, as well as a small Zapdos and a Mesprit following. Zapdos looked about ready to start zapping things, at least until Mewtwo said something to it. Then it calmed down some.

Mew saw them and immediately zipped over to Margaret, squeaking brightly. Margaret rolled her eyes indulgently and let it settle on her shoulders again. The Mesprit looked curious when it saw them, but didn't make any move to investigate.

Do you have a place to go already? I remember you both have homes. Mewtwo looked at the two girls.

Aleron shook her head. "We can't go there. Not with all these. We need somewhere new, somewhere far enough away from people that they won't come investigating and all these guys can hatch in peace."

Mewtwo nodded and looked at Margaret. Do you have any requests where I should leave you, then?

"Well..." Margaret trailed off, thinking. "I'm from Kanto, she's from Johto. What about right in the middle, near Tohjo Falls?" It made sense to her. It was remote, with very few trainers wanting to brave the falls when the train was easier and faster to get between the regions, and only those trying to get to the Pokemon League would be traveling through.

Aleron nodded her agreement. They could find a spot out of the way where trainers wouldn't go looking, even those braving the falls, and it would have just enough of every type of terrain to make all the pokemon happy.

Mewtwo nodded his agreement. Very well, then. He focused, letting the eggs down slowly and instructing the Mesprit and the Zapdos to stay and keep track of the eggs. Then he Teleported the rest of them to a spot near a large group of trees, not visible from the falls themselves but still close to the water on either side.

Margaret tensed when they were Teleported without warning, and blinked in surprise when she saw the Falls.

"That was all the way across the world," she said weakly. "We're almost back in Kanto again. That was all the way across the world."

I told you I could. Mewtwo preened for a few moments. Is this location sufficient for the moment? I would like to move the rest of them here for safekeeping.

"Uh, yeah, sure," Aleron said, still distracted and kind of freaked from Teleporting. Idly she made a note that they'd have to figure out how to build a house and a stable out here.

"Go ahead," Margaret agreed, also a bit distracted. That kind of teleporting shouldn't have been possible. Clearly, Mewtwo was just a god. All hail.

Mewtwo vanished again and came back a minute later with all the eggs and the other two little ones.

Call me if you need any further assistance. These two should not give you any trouble.

Aleron nodded again, looking at the pile of eggs. Oh they had so much work to do.

Margaret nodded as well, but she was looking at Mesprit and Zapdos. Zapdos still looked like it wanted to be surly and unfriendly, so she let it for the moment, refocusing on Mesprit. Mesprit also focused on her, floating a little closer to investigate.

"Hey, you," Margaret said softly, kneeling down. Mesprit skittered back a bit when she moved, but cautiously came forward again when she didn't reach out for it. Mew giggled and squeaked brightly from on her shoulders, and it would have made Margaret roll her eyes if it hadn't seemed to encourage Mesprit to finally try to snuggle into her arms. When it did, Margaret just held it and stood up.

"So now what?" she asked Aleron.

"Now we need to get started. If we're going to be here until all these eggs hatch, we'll need some sort of shelter, for us and for them." Aleron started looking around for a good spot. "And then we'll need to count the eggs and make sure none of them are too close, get everything all set up, things like that. Oh, and we should get them used to our group, and our group used to having legendaries around."

"First thing's first, then," Margaret said, looking around. "I have a tent as temporary shelter, but it's really only big enough for maybe three people. So we can either put us in there, or the eggs, while we figure something else out."

That gave Aleron an idea, and she looked at Margaret.

"You go ahead and set up the tent. I'm going to try something." She released her group and moved off to go find what she'd need.

Margaret looked at her, curious, but nodded and started to set up the tent. It was more of a pup tent than anything, since anything bigger would be too cumbersome to carry around, but it was waterproof and gave some measure of shelter.

Aleron had managed to find a cave not very far away, and she got Vulpix to heat sand as she shoveled the sand inside. Grinning, she jogged back over to Margaret.

"I found a place for the eggs. It's covered and nice and warm and everything, so they should be safe there."

Margaret grinned.

"Great," she said. Having the cave made things easier, and they would be able to keep an eye on everything in it.
