"Oh trust me, I know." Aleron rolled her eyes. "And look at that, Rapidash is going to take care of Virizion and Cobalion. There's a little bit of irony in there."
Margaret snickered.
"You sound like you have your hands full," she said. "Are you sure you don't want me to come back and help?" |
"Nah, I'm okay. Unless you want to come back. But if you want to finish getting the badges first that's just fine with me." Aleron grinned at her.
"I think I still have three more to get," Margaret said. "For Johto, at least. I still need the Mineral Badge from Olivine Gym, the Knuckle Badge from Cianwood, and the Rising Badge from Blackthorn. I have the other five."
"Well, why don't you go ahead and finish up getting the three from Johto?" Aleron suggested. "Then you can come back here and spend some time here again, and then go on to finish up the Kanto route."
"I've got all mine from Kanto," Margaret said. "I finished up the Kanto circuit a while back, I just never tried for the Pokemon League. But it's not a bad idea to get the last three here and head back for a while."
Aleron nodded. "Alright. Well, you should probably get going. If you want I can send one or two of the legendaries off to go travel with you. I think Uxie was looking for you earlier anyway."
"You just don't want to deal with the ones that can read your mind," Margaret teased. She shrugged a bit. "Sure, I wouldn't mind the company for a little bit, as long as they don't show up with me in town."
Aleron rolled her eyes. "Alright, I'll send a couple of them over to you. And I've already told them not to read my mind without permission or I'll kick them off the ranch."
"Some of them can't help it," Margaret said, still grinning a little. "Like Mew, I don't think Mew can help it. Not that it tries all that hard."
"No kidding." Aleron rolled her eyes. "They're all brats anyway. At least we don't let them get away with everything."
"Right," Margaret replied, grinning. She stretched a bit. "Well, I'm going to go, I want to at least get to Goldenrod today, if not back to Ecruteak." She paused. "Do you want me to climb Tin Tower again and see if the other Ho-oh is still there?"
"No. The other Ho-oh is still disgruntled, and still doesn't really like people. We're immune because the little one likes us, but let's not push our luck, shall we?" Aleron grinned briefly. "Although maybe if you took Uxie and Mesprit up there with you to talk to the other Ho-oh..."
"You just want to get rid of them," Margaret accused teasingly. "What about Azelf? There are three of them, you know."
"As soon as he pops in again I'll send him your way, too," Aleron said with a shrug. "And you're much more comfortable with them than I am, you know that."
"That's true," Margaret replied. "Well, I'm on my way to Goldenrod, and from there Ecruteak and on to Olivine."
Aleron nodded. "I'll keep that in mind. Those two will be there shortly, and I'll send Azelf after them. You get to convince them to stay away from the towns, though."
"Yeah, wish me luck with that," Margaret replied. "I'll keep the Celebi egg for a while and see what happens, sound like a plan?"
"Sounds good to me." Aleron grinned. "Travel safely, and we'll see you in a while."
"Yup," Margaret said. "I'll let you know how the gym matches go. The only one I can foresee having problems with will be in Blackthorn."
"Yeah. Well, you can always borrow Gyarados." Aleron grinned. "I can send him over to you."
"I was thinking about that," Margaret said. "Just need to be careful, I know dragon-types can learn things like Thunder."
"Yeah, but he could probably knock out at least one of the lineup for you." Aleron shrugged. "And as long as you stop by a pokemon center he'll be fine. Besides, I think he might be slowly gaining some immunity to electric attacks, since Jolteon goes after him all the time."
Margaret snorted.
"If he'll let me teach him Ice Beam or something, he'll be the scariest thing those dragons have ever seen," she said. |
"Don't worry, he'll behave for you." Aleron grinned. "He likes you better than he likes me, anyway, which I'm not sure is just because I caught him or because I've pissed him off again." She shrugged.
