"Oh look Tomes and Scrools....let's go there!" Ric said as he looked up just in time to see the book store, pulling away from Lavi and quickly going over to it, tucking his book away as he looked through the front window.

"Well i guess we will wait on food." Lavi mumbled as he rolled his eyes, sighing some before he let go of Travis's hand and followed after Ric to the book shop, his stomach growled a little bit but he ignored it, hopefully he would still be hungery after they get back out of the book shop sohe could eat while he could.

Ric on the other hand had bounded into the place and was looking lovingly at all the books, stroking thier spines for a minute before he pulled them out and looked through them before putting them back. It took a while but he finally had five books stacked up that he wantted, on the counter as they waitted for the guy to come and check him out, had even got more parchment for all of them.

He almost groaned before nodding. He did know that Ric could probably take a few hours in there. However, if there was where he wanted to go, they just had to bear with it. Besides, he did have a few sweets to tide them over. He offered Lavi his bag of sweets, offering him a smile. "Well, think this'll do for now?" he asked as they walked into the bookstore. As the time passed for them to check out, Travis had picked out two books. A book more on a class he had trouble with, and another one that was just for fun he'd had trouble finding for a while now. He smiled a little, glancing at Lavi and Ric. "Still hungry?"

"Yea thanks." Lavi sai to Travis as he smiled widely, taking the ice mice out of the bag and begin to eat them to help his stomach, he normally didn't eat junk food but it was going to be a while before they could get some really food considering the fact that Ric loved to take his time about things when it came to books. "Hey do you think there is a book in here to tell potions ingredients apart, Tray?" he asked as he looked around the place, the only thing he could think of getting was more parchment but it seemed as if Ric had that part covered for them.

Ric finally paid for all histhings once the man came out to take care of him, he had a happy and content look on his face ashe hugged all his books close to his chest, humming to him self as he had a slight dazed look as he just seemed in his own world for now. (it would be funny if Shadow showed up now lol)

He nodded, recalling a section where they had everything for potion making. He glanced at Ric with a small smile. It seemed it was happy for the moment. This was good. "I do." he said before grabbing his books after he had paid. "Hey ric, wanna come with to find some potion making books for Lavi?" he asked, glancing back at their other friend. Seeing that familiar dazed look, he almost frowned before tilting his head at Lavi in question. "Oh?" He was wondering if they should leave him alone for the moment like that.

( lmao, alright then, he'll be there on a quick errand. )

Shadow stepped out from the Three Broomsticks, having traveled by floo powder there on the count of a silly errand. He had to get some extra cauldrons and other things for the teachers. As if they hadn't enough people and house elves to send. They had to send him and make him an errand boy. Of course he shouldn't have earned himself a few detentions. He was dressed in black slacks and a dark blue and red shirt. He'd had to wear something different so people wouldn't think he was ditching school or something. He sighed, heading down the street to grab the supplies needed.

"He should be fine while like that, besides i don't want to be here when and if he starts to kiss the books."Lavi said to Travis as he smiled and rolled his eyes, he was of course joking when he was taking about Ric who didn't move from his spot for the moment. "So lead on, Tray." he said in a happy voice with a smile as he motioned to every section of the book store, you would rarely see Lavi in one, since he would just order his books by owl, so he had no clue on how to find books in a book store.

Ric just smiledin his dazed state and calmlywaved his friends away as he hugged his books een more, nuzzling them some, very happy with his purchases to the point that Travis and Lavi could say a lot of things about him that were the truthand leave him there and he wouldn't even notice. The one thing he did notice was Shadow walking by the store, in normal clothes so it flet very odd to see hiim like that but of course Ric couldn't help but go following after him to see what he was up to at the moment.

Travis almost snorted, but gave a small nod as he smiled and waved at the blond. "Very true." he said, leading Lavi through some people as he headed to one of the sections. "I did tell you I could help you with potions though." he said easily as he looked around the mass of books. They were getting a bit closer, but he had forgotten where exactly the section was. Not that he was in much of a hurry. He didn't want to go back too early and risk seeing the other boy kissing the books or something. That was a rather odd site sometimes. "What do you want to learn exactly?" He found the section and tugged Lavi over to it, motioning to the moderate amount of books. "Take your pick."

Shadow was oblivious of being followed, toocaught up on looking at the list and keeping away from the mob of people walking around. He entered the Cauldron shop to pick up the new stock of cauldrons. It was about ten minutes later that he walked out, with about ten of the damned portable cauldrons. Snape was going to have to owe him big time for lugging them around. He headed over to the quills shop, eying the ice cream shop as he passed it. It was a rather hot day..Maybe he'd have some time later for a treat.. If he got done in the allotted time.

"Whatcha doing?" Ric said to Shadow, purposely trying to make him jump, he was still hugging his books to his chest so he looked rather funny standing there with his wide green eyes, and books to his chest.

"i only need to learn how to tell the difference between the ingredients i already told you that, and then i can make the potion with no problem and i am going to have you help me also." Lavi said to Travis as he got a thoughtful look on his face, smiling as he had followed after his friend to the section before he started to look through the books. He was getting fustrated because he couldn't seem toffind the book he was looking for, which Travis could tell by how serious his face was and how Lavi's jaw was clenched tight.

Shadow almost jumped, instead he backed up a step or two. His eyes had widened as he glanced down at the source. He narrowed his eyes before rolling them. "Errands. And you?" he asked as he made sure the cauldrons were stacked up decently. He rased an eyebrow at him. "Where are the other two?" he asked.

Travis nodded, helping in look for the elusive book. He'd glanced over and was surprised to see Lavi taking it so seriously. Looking up a bit, he thought he saw the book. But it was out of his reach. "Hm, Lavi, Get on me." he said, as he kept his eyes on the book. He kneeled down so Lavi could get on his shoulders and then he could lift the boy up. Lavi was always a bit light, and he had grown stronger since his change.

"Books." Ric said to shadow with a giddy smile on his face as he showed them to him before he hugged them close once more and begin to nuzzle them, it was odd to see how Ric actted when with newly bought books, and what was even wierd was the fact that he actually kissed the book before looking back at Shadow. "Ummm....i don't know." he said honestly, since he wasn't paying attention when they were talking to him earlier and he did just leave the book store to follow after Shadow, so you could say that he lost them while he was busy with other things.

"What?!?!?" LAvi said as he heard what Travis said to him, jumping back suddenly and knocking some books over, which he had to quickly put up before they guy came to see what happened. "Why would i do that?" he asked, it seemed that it had shocked him more then it should have, clearly he wasn't thinking about books when he was looking through them but it was hard to tell what he was thinking about as he gave his friend a quizzical look.

Shadow gave him a weird look, backing away a bit from him. "Uh.. Well, alright then." he said, sounding unsure. He shrugged a moment later. "Maybe you should go find them." he said before he started to walk into the quill shop for the order of quills that Professor Flick had ordered. He was on a time crunch if he wanted to relax a little in the town, and he didn't intend on wasting time talking with the lovegood. He was just too damn odd sometimes.

Travis quickly tore his eyes off the book to look at Lavi in surprise. Helping him pick up the fallen books, he smiled a little at the man in reassurance. "What's the matter?" he asked, looking unsure as he stayed in his position. He didn't understand why Lavi reacted like that. He was only trying to help him. "If you get on my shoulders, we'll be able to reach your book." he explained, raising an eyebrow as he watched Lavi closely. He'd been acting a little oddly since this morning.

"Maybe i don't want to." Ric said to him as he followed after him, watching whathe was doing before he grabbed some quills also and paid for them, tucking them into the bag withthe parchment and his books before he followed him out of the shop once more. "You know i could help you." he said with a smile on his face as he caught up with him to were he was now walking next to him, he smiled as he thought about how Shadow had answered him instead of ignoring him like he normally would do.

"Oh nothing was just lost in thought." Lavi said to him as he laughed andrubbed the back of his head, he didn't mean to make Travis worry but the guy knew him way to well and it was going to be hardto hide everything from him. "Why don't you just use a spell?" Lavi asked him with a quizzical look, they were wizards afterall and it doesn't hurt to use magic to help you out with something like getting a book, he would have to admit that when they were younger he didn't mind doing things the muggle way but now that they were older, using magic was just more natrual.

He had placed the bag of quills inside of the top cauldron so they wouldn't spill over while he tried to juggle everything else. After paying with the money that the headmaster had given him, he headed outside, toward yet another shop. Shadow was a bit more relaxed outside of the school than he normally was. Maybe that's why he didn't just outright ignore the boy. He shrugged a little at Ric, finally deciding to address him. "My detention punishment. So no." he said. He had a bit of pride in that sort of matter. If he caused something, and got caught, well... Who was he to avoid it. Better to get it done with.

Travis paused giving Lavi a quizzical look. Of course he let it slide for the moment. Standing up his eyes widened before blushing in embarrassment. He had completely forgotten about the magic part. Yet again. "Damn.. I forget I can still do that.." he muttered before finding his wand. Since he had spent so long away from the magical world to spend time in his muggle home, he had grown used to not really using magic once again. And now he was iffy about using it since sometimes it wasn't as powerful. "Accio book." he muttered, reaching for the now zooming book and catching it. He smiled slightly as he gave Lavi the book. "There you go. One potions ingredient book."

"What did you do to get detention, Sha?" Ric asked as he wasn't bothered by Shadow telling him he couldn't help but he did feel sorry that they guy couldn't enjoy the day like hiim and his friends could even though the snuck out to hang out in hogsmeade since none of them had permission slips, ever.

"Tray, when we were kids i love the muggle trouble that we gotten into.....but we have to start being the wizards we are...." Lavi said to him softly as he smiled and gladly took the book from Travis, he wouldn't tell him but he knew that Tray could hear the slight sadness in his voice. He walked towards the front and bought the book from the man, but what surprised him the most was that Ric was gone, now it isn't often that Ric would go off but he might have thought they ditched himbecause they left him a lone or something, but Lavi was worried about thier friend.

Travis almost sighed, shaking his head. Of course he heard his tone.. "You forget I'm not exactly one anymore." he muttered wryly.He chuckled and followed Lavi calmly. "Let's go and get Ric before he gets in trouble." he said with a smile. He almost felt like he was a bundle of, well random genes put into one. He was just a huge mess. A muggle, and a wizard, and now he was a vampire who had been secluded from the wizarding world for a few years. Enough so that he forgot that he could simply use magic for everything. There was more but he didn't voice it all. No need to add to the worries. Lavi and Ric were already troubled enough. Lavi more so with his curse. He raised an eyebrow. "Now where'd he go?" he asked.

Shadow scowled at the nickname again. "Why do you insist on calling me that?" he asked, his tone ticked off. He had gotten detention since he had allowed peeves to help him sneak into the divination room, making it so that all the crystal balls had come tumbling down the tower. It caused quite a commotion and a few injuries. It was one of his greatest pranks. And Peeves had been more than happy to help. "Divination incident."

"Hmmm who knows....Ric is well Ric...he maybe he went to the quill shop, thinking we went there for your quills." Lavi said to Travis as he smiled, he followed his friend out of the shop only to stop in his tracks when he felt a sharp pain, he grimanced for a minute before he was back to smiling and walking after him like nothing was wrong. "Hmm or maybe he is getting something to eat..." Lavi said thoughtfully as he made his way down to the shop for quills, hopeing that Ric was there or if not that he hadn't been caught and taken back to the school.

"It is easier to say then Shadow besides it is just a nickname and no one else calls you it so you will remember me better cause i do." Ric said to him as he just shrugged his shoulders, after all it wasn't a big deal to himiso he had no clue as to why, Shadow was making a big fuss over it. "Oh so that was you. I was the one who had to clean that you know." he said to him as he narrowed his eyes in slight anger, after all that was his favorite class because he was best at it so he wasn't going to sit there and leave his favorite teacher to clean it all up on her own.

Travis sighed before chuckling and headed out. He didn't notice that Lavi had stopped for a moment, since he was scoping out the place. As they headed to the quill shop, he noticed that Ric wasn't there. "Well, he knows how find us. He knew that we'd get some food. So, maybe he'll head there." he said, trying to get inside again. "I can't be outside for too long." he muttered, glancing up at the sky. Earlier it had been a bit cloudy but now, well it wasn't ideal for him.

He shrugged, sighing. "Whatever." Going inside Dervish and Banges he asked for the shipment that had arrived for the music class. This part he didn't mind so much. He almost smiled before gently placing the things into the caudron gain. The other things he couldn't fit, had to be put in a box for him to carry that way. "Hm? Did you really?" he asked, grinning a little. The expression on the Lovegood boy was almost priceless as well. It was the first time he had actually used an expression that wasn't calm or blank.

"Yea if not i guess i have to use a tracing spell to find him." Lavi said as he just shrugged, looking at Travis when he went back into the shade, he thought about it for a moment before he smiled and pushed his friend into the quill shop once more, smiling as he motioned aorund. "Hey you said that you need quills right?" he said with a smile, actting as if they were just normal kids even though Travis had some problems with the sun light, but he helpped his friend hidethe fact that he wasn't completely wizard from the others around them.

"Yes. I am glad your being punished for it though." Ric said with a smile before his face went back to the blank expression, he walked along next to Shadow, seeingeverything he picked up, before he pulled out one of his new books and started to read it, secretly smiling at the fact that Shadow had to carry all the things even though he could just use his magiceto lavitate it all, but Ric would not tell himthat, just to see him do manual labor for once.

Travis smirked. "Do you know a tracking spell?" he asked, not sure he knew the spell for that. He glanced at Lavi when he was pushed out of his shade and into the shop. He grinned a little and nodded as he looked around. "Yeah.. Thank you. Wanna help me find one?" he asked, smiling softly. Once he was inside, he stayed away from the windows and went to see some of the simple, but nice looking quills. He had to keep his budget in mind, if anything.

"I'm not.. They took my wand away." he growled, struggling a little to adjust the grip on everything. That was the worst part. He couldn't use magic, otherwise he would have been doing it right on the spot and not bothering with such silliness. It was a rather good thing he had physical strength. Otherwise it'd be super hard for him. "Eh, well.. it was worth it to see that old bat screeching her head off at the fact that everything went wrong and she was cursed." he said, a light smirk appearing.

"You should be nicer to her. After all she may seem like an old bat but she has power." Ric said to him as he pointted out the fact that she was really what she said she was and not a fake, if she were a fake he would not have taken her class, after all he only liked the things he knew to be real him self. He turnned to the next page in his book as he continued to walk with him, looking over his book at the boy before hewent backto reading. "You did deserve your wand to be taken away from you." he said in a rather calm way, evenbluntly as he didn't even offer to lighten to load for him once more, instead letting him live with it all.

"I know a simple one...but alli have to do for it to track Ric is have it track his earring." Lavi said to Travis as he smiled even more, after all it was one of the unique things on Ric that could be tracked and not confused for some one else, besides that there is always the neckalace he wore also. "Don't look at me personally i suck at picking quills out." he said sheepishly as he walked aorund the store with Travis, looking at one quill or another, not touching them since hehad a thing about touching quills.

He shrugged. "Maybe." he muttered and then went to the ice cream shop. He set down everything and stretched a little before sitting. Giving a rather wide yawn he glanced at Ric. "No I did not. It wasn't like I used my wand to do it." he pointed out before sighing. "What time is it?" he asked, wondering how long he still had. He had finished getting everything, so now he wanted to relax a bit.

Travis grinned and patted Lavi on the back. "Smart man." he commented fondly. Ricfrith was the only other person around with that type of earring, so it would be super easy to find him in that way. He smirked at Lavi's answer before he grabbed a spell check quill and a dark blue one with whiteish gray spots. He held it up and smiled a little before showing it to Lavi and grabbing a brown and white quill, just in case. "You think these will do then?" he asked.

"You still broke the crystal balls. As for the time...i have no clue." Ric said to him as he took a seat across from Shadow, leaning back in his chair as he continued to read, ordering a really wierd neon color ice cream cone, he did stop to pay the person, flipping through his book for a minutebefore he got to the page he was reading once more, looking at Shadow over the top of it. "You should have some ice cream before you head back." he said in a nonchalant voice as he looked back at his book, licking his ice cream suggestively.

"Why thank you." Lavi said with a grin, he wouldn't show it or let him self yawn but he was really tired, but just for today he wantted it all to be like normal, with no worries like his curse and Travis's vampiric state, just like the good old days when they were kids. "Hmmm......you might want to get another spell check one just in case." he said with a smile as he motioned to the quills once more, it was better to have two then one in his opinion, in fact he had four of them, him self. "I think those will be good." he said to him, he was hoping that Trvis would take longer withthe quills to give his body a break from the sunlight but it didn't seem like he was going too.

"Shouldn't have been so breakable." he retorted, almost sounding like a joke before he thought about it. "Alright then.." he muttered, not really putting up much of a fight on that. He did want some ice cream. Along with the fact that he didn't want to go too soon. Ordering a few different flavored scoops, one of them a watermelon with chocolate looking seeds. Another was a cake batter, and the third was, well something else. He smiled a little before he took the spoon and started to eat it.

Travis thought a little before nodding. Lavi was right. "Alright." It was usually better to get another one or two. Just in case it broke, or got lost or something. He picked another spell check quill, then went to look at some other quills. And then the inks. There were some very cool looking colors there. He didn't want to take too long, since he knew Lavi was probably hungry. He would just have to deal with the light sunburns later. already, there could be seen some areas that looked a tad bit red. More so on his neck, where the sun hit more directly.

"Here." Lavi said as he saw the Travis's read neck, taking his cloak off and placing it on Travis, making sure the hood was onthe male's head to help him out. "You keep forgetting you burn easily. You maybe tan but you still have fair skin." he said to him as if he was a brother chasting his little brother, he had a soft smile onhis face, but the both knew what he meant, after all there were people listening to them talk. "Hey lets get ice cream after this." he said with a smile on his face ashe leaned against a barrel of quills as he watched Travis look at some more.

"Your so helpless." Ric said as he smiled, continueing to eat his ice cream as he turnned the page in his book once more, only to stop reading and watching the people walking by them. He looked at Shadowand watchedhim eat his ice cream for a fewminutes before he went back to reading his book. "You shouldn't pick on her.....she hadit hardenough." he said as hetalkedabout thedivination teacher, he may be her best student but he did care for her like he cared about his mother.

Travis looked at Lavi, surprised that he gave him his cloak. He smiled after a moment and nodded, adjusting it. "Thank you. I didn't think it'd be this sunny." he said before he looked over at the counter and grabbing a few black in refills, and a silvery one and started to walk to pay for everything. "Ice cream huh? I think that sounds fun." he said grinning back at Lavi. "It'll give us a chance to rest too."

Shadow looked at Ricfrith slightly confused. "Excuse me? How am I helpless?" he asked, having no clue on what he meant. he thought about his words on the divination teacher and shrugged. "I'll try to contain myself. But she is a bit nuts." he muttered as he continued to eat his ice cream. Come to think about it, Ric would have something to relate to. Considering they both are rather odd individuals. "You're her star pupil aren't you?" he asked, almost rolling his eyes.
