"Hmm that could wake him up but it is way to early in thier relationship for that...Besides they haven't confessed to each other yet." Ric said as he smiled and shrugged his shoulders, Travis knew that he wouldn't let him off lightly if he did something he didn't like.
"Shut up...." Lavi mumbled as he shoved Travis back down onto the ground, basically wrapping himself around the man as he just continued to cuddle into hiim, still not waking up from what Travis was saying to him, it seemed as if it was going to take a lot more then that to wake him up at the moment. |
"Agh! Avi!" He almost winced since his head didn't hit the pillow, and instead got the ground. He blushed some more. "Avi, if you don't let me go, I'll bite you." he warned, almost sounding somewhat desperate. He'd missed yesterdays appointment, and he didn't know what would happen if he missed todays. He did try to tug him off, but the guy had a strong grip sometimes. This time was no exception.
Shadow raised an eyebrow. "But haven't they kissed before?" he asked, having spotted them kissing once at the great hall when it had been somewhat empty. He would've thought they'd at least have gone that far. They could have been friends with benefits. Or something. Maybe they were just that dense though. |
"No you see that is different, because it wasn't a kiss. Travis hates vegetables and avoids them at all cost and ever since they were little Lavi would put them in his mouth and force feed the vegetables to Travis. So it is not kissing just an exchange of food is all." Ric said to him as he explained what the male hadsaw to him and what was really going on at the time, he didn't even tell Shadow that Lavi was a more or less a health freak and made sure that his friends ate healthy so they could leave longer.
"Ugh....can't a guy get some sleep." Lavi grumbled as he sat up, not even aware of what he had been doing to Trais or that he was sitting on his lap, after all he was still tired and partcially a sleep so those things did not bother him at the moment, the only thing that did was that Travis had waken him up from a good sleep. |
Travis sighed somewhat. "Well, I would have let you keep sleeping but you didn't want to let me go." he explained as he looked up at Lavi. He did feel bad for waking him, that much was obvious in his eyes. "Sorry but, you can get back to sleep as soon as you get off me." he commented with a small grin. He did notice that Lavi was mostly sleeping, so he took advantage of that by gently lifting him off and placing him down on the floor. "I'll be back maybe." he muttered to them as he straightened up.
Shadow took this into consideration. "That's good to know.." he said, wondering if they even knew what others thought of that. He did have to wonder why Lavi was so adamant about making Travis eat healthy. There were other means to get him to eat food. "Well, whatever method they get, one of them should just hurry up and confess." he said, shrugging as he watched what was happening with the two. |
"That is a bunch of shiitake mushrooms." Lavi mumbled to him as he rubbed at his eyes trying to wake up only to go wide eyed at Travis picking him up off of him, which made him cling to him even more since he didn't really liked to be picked up. "HEY!!!" he said to Travis as he freaked out slightly, letting him go once he was back on the ground, glaring as he ran off to the castle, it didn't last long since he just yawned, pulling the cloak over him once more and snuggling into the pillow as he fell back a sleep.
"Don't worry he forced feed him like that since childhood." Ric said to him as he shrugged his shoulders, after all he was used to seeing them do that but then again if people didn't know them then it would be awkward. "I know but they just use me as an excuse to avoid thier feelings and talking about how they feel about each other." he said as he smiled some, leaning back against the tpillow that was against the tree as he looked around the peaceful area. |
He just stared for a moment before shrugging. It didn't matter to him too much about the love or lack thereof they had. "I suppose." he said simply, watching as Travis disappeared to the castle. If it was since childhood that they acted that way, it was a miracle that they hadn't hooked up earlier. Listening to Ricfrith however, he found out why. "So they use you to avoid their feelings? What would happen if you weren't there for a few days?" he asked, almost smirking. "It'd be interesting.." They might be lost as to what to do.

"Hmm it would be interesting to see what they would do if i wasn't around.....but i havea feeling that they would fight greatly and then not talk to each other for a while. They also know theonly reason i wouldn't be aroundisif i had some one to be with durring that time." Ric said to Shadow as he smiled, with a knowing look on his face at what the slytherin was planning, after all he wasn't stupid and in fact it sounded as if he was waitting for this to happen more then anything. "Yes, they do use me as an excuse to avoid thier feelings for each other, but don't worry. If you don't mind me being around you for a while, i can disappear tomorrow night so we can find out what will happen when i amnot around." he said to Shadow, sounding almost like a slytherin, it came off kind of scary that he would actually plan something like that or do that to his friends, but it had to be done sooner or later and the sooner was better.

"If they fought or not doesn't matter much." Shadow was actually just doing it for the laughs and entertainment. If the two didn't get together in the end, well at least it was going to be amusing in the long run. Spending so much time with Ric wasn't what he had planned though. The look the boy had was slightly suspicious too. He almost looked doubtful before finally shrugging. He ran a hand through his hair and glanced at Ric. "How long will we give them?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. In fact, he wasn't sure what the hell they'd do. He did suppose they could just, do whatever the hell they felt like doing. All he hoped was that the boy didn't think it meant something too much.

"I say we give them about two weeks....don't worry i will read most of the time while we are hanging out." Ric said to him as he shrugged, he watched as Lavi stood up, mumbling a spell, the dark dome disappearing as he grabbed the pillows and his cloak and walked towards the castle, sleep walking. "But this will be very interesting to watch....don't you think so Sha?" he said as he smiled even more looking at Shadow once more.

Shadow shrugged a little. "Sounds about good." he stated, raising an eyebrow as the other red-head started to pack up and head inside. "Should he be left alone?" he asked, risking looking back at Ric. Smirking lightly at his second comment, he gave a quick nod. "It will be. Maybe we should get some popcorn or something."

"Good thing Lavi didn't hear you mention popcorn." Ric said to Shadow as he chuckled a little, knowing full well what he would do if he even caught him eatting it, which would not be pretty at all. "Don't worry about LAvi, the worst he will do is a few pranks of falling asleep in the hallway again." he said as he chuckled looking up at the sky before he sighed, it was getting late and about time for them to eat dinner and head to bed, and if Travis was around he would be upset or disappointted that Lavi wasn't going to eat.

"Something wrong with popcorn?" he asked before nodding. He stood up to get up, since it was getting dark already. If Lavi wasn't going to do anything too much, he didn't really care at the moment. Running a hand through his hair, he figured he should probably find a spell to grow out his hair. He wasn't very fond of wigs and he'd need longer hair for his costume. Probably find one of the girls to do it. He didn't have the patience to braid it. "Shall we head inside?"

"He considers it unhealthy and would force use to eat vegetables......the only sad thing is....never mind." Ric said to him, he had gotten sad as he looked in the direction that Lavi went towards, before shaking his head and smiling at Shadow as he stood up and grabbing everything else that was left there by his friends. "Astoria Greengrass will beable to help you with your hair." Ric said to him as if they were having a conversation about costumes even though he had said it out of the blue, if it was Travis or Lavi they would just shrug it off like it was nothing but when it was other people they tend to be more well not as accepting, he started to head to the castle slowly.

he gave a simple nod, understanding. He was curious about what it was that was sad. Of course, it seemed Ric wouldn't tell. He never said anything about Travis or Lavi that could give up their conditions. "What if one's allergic to vegetables?" he asked, smirking before he started walking with Ric across the grass. "Astoria Greengrass?" It had come out of the blue and surprised him. Since it was the blond though, he understood and just nodded. "Alright then. Thanks."

""Then he would force them to take a bunch of allergy medicine before he feeds them to the person....besides he only does that me and Travis, everyone else he doesn't bother with since he isn't friends with them. Ric said to him as he kept the same pace as Shadow as he watched the castle draw closer to them, he looked over at Shadow as he thought about something, he wantted to tell Shadow to let him know why he let Lavi do as he pleased to him but he wasn't sure if he would keep it a secret. He stopped in his tracks placing a hand on Shadows arm to stop him as he looked at him with a dead serious look. "Shadow....if i tell you this you must take it with you to your grave." he said to him, it was clear that it was very important and that it was not meant to be shared with anyone, no matter who it was.

Shadow resisted a small laugh. He tried imagining it and found it rather easy. The image was a little amusing. "Well, that's a relief for everyone else." he muttered. He didn't enjoy vegetables, but he also didn't avoid them at all costs like Travis. He didn't really get why he ate so much, and never got any fatter. Feeling himself pulled to a stop, he looked at Ric oddly. It was one of the few times he actually heard the boy call his real name. "O,kay. What is it?" he said, somewhat unsure of what it could be that was so important. It wasn't hard to hide things from others for him, so it would be easy. Depending on what it was that the Lovegood told him.

"Well you see.....Lavi is dying....in fact if he doesn't kill his brother soon after he gets out of school.....he will die. He doesn't think i know that about him but i do....i think that is also why he doesn't act on his feelings for Travis....." Ric said to him as he got a very sadlook on his face, like he was about to cry, he knew that Shadow would probable use it against Lavi because he didn't make him magically promise him that he would keep it to him self, but for his own benefit he had to tell some one and it was clear that he trusted Shadow more then just a person that he talks to. He also knew that if Shadow let it slip that Lavi was dying that he know about it and make the red-haired slytherin regret ever letting it slip. "He hasn't told anyone.....sodo you promise not to tell about this?" he asked Shadow as he looked up into his eyes, letting him see the pain and sarrow on in his facce, letting him see him as pretty much a very sad uke.

"He's dying?" he asked, frowning a little. That was something he'd never thought about. The boy didn't seem so sick. Just tired most of the time. Shadow almost rolled his eyes. If anything the dying part should have been more useful to get the two together. At least they'd have some happiness together before the possible death. "Do you know where the brother could be?" he asked after a moment. Normally he wouldn't be involved with anything, but.. He just supposed he was bored. Giving Ric a surprised look at the expression he had, he shrugged. "I won't say anything." he stated. He did feel Travis should know, but it wasn't his problem.

"Not even i know where he is...or how to help Lavi with the situation......i have tried everything i could as a Seer." Ric said to him as he sighed, looking up towards the castle, he knew that Travis was still in the hospital wing and that he would soon come out to see if they were still out here. "Thank you for keeping it a secret....but i think another reason Lavi is keeping it to himself is so that people around him won't be sad. It is also true that he doesn't look sick but he doesn't eat very often, in fact when he gets hungry and goes to eat he isn't hungry anymore, he is mostly muscles right now and in poor health....all because he eats like once a month." he said as the tears he been holdding back spilled over and rolled down his face, he loved his friendds, they were his family since he didn't consider his own family, family, and knowing that one was dying was killing him, he wantted to have Travis change the male into a Vampire just so he could live but he also knew that it was Lavi's choice, not his. "I needed to share this information with someone.....and i am glad that i can trust you enough to keep it to your self....i just hope that his brother will die sooner then later." Ric said as he mumbled the last part to him self before he wiped the tears from his face before Travis showed up and asked him why he was crying, that was when he slowly started to walk once more.

Shadow almost sighed. "Well... What's his name?" he had connections, so he could at least try and help out in his own way. Of course he wouldn't tell anyone what it was for. Just for his own benefit. He was still surprised that the boy was allowing him to see him all vulnerable. it was rather foolish. He really shouldn't be one to be trusted. "That's not good at all. Is that why he goes to the hospital wing so often?" he asked with a small frown. At Ric's insistent crying, he almost rolled his eyes before tugging him into his arms and hugging him. "Stop crying. And yeah, don't worry about it." he muttered before letting him go once the boy composed himself.
Travis was just getting out of the hospital wing, he had some form of potion on spots that had turned a slightly angry red. They were supposed to help with the burns. He almost sighed, rubbing his arms. Maybe he shouldn't spend so much time outside. Truth be told, even with the clothing, his body still got burned a bit. He also couldn't stay out for too long before he could probably die. Only reason he could endure so much was because he was mixed or something. He was now on his way to go down back to the front entrance. |
"I don't know....Lavi and Travis never mention his name when they do talk about them, and i never even heard his name while i have been with them." Ric said as he shrugged, getting back his nice and calm composer that he always had about him, he stopped for a minute to look up at the now darker sky before he looked at Shadow walking away from him, he stood there like that a few minutes before he caught up with him once more. "Yea that is why he is always in it and has exceptions for being late to class." Ric said to him before he fell silent, they had now entered the school and he could see Travis comming towards them, he held out the two pillows he had with hiim towards the male, not saying anything for he felt like he was about to spill all Lavi's secrets out to him.

Travis smiled nervously to the two of them. He was still edgy toward Shadow. Grabbing the pillows he sighed. "I got in a bit of trouble for not keeping up with my health." he muttered before eying Ric. "Uh, were you crying?" he asked, seeing Ric's eyes a little puffy and red. He narrowed his eyes at Shadow, instantly thinking it was him. He always was defensive of the boy. Just because Shadow was in his house didn't mean much. "Did he do anything to you Ric?" he asked, shooting a questioning glance to his friend.
Shadow just rolled his eyes at Travis before nodding at Ric. "See you guys tomorrow." he said, waving before he went to the dungeons. He wasn't feeling hungry and he still had to study. Travis was also obviously going to start interrogating him then and there, and he didn't need to hear it. What Ric told him stuck in his mind though. He did have to wonder all about how Lavi had gotten the curse. |
"Bye Sha." Ric said to him as he smiled and waved at him before he looked back at Travis and gave him a carefree smile, knowing he was about to lie to his friend, he just wished Shadow was there to help him keep the secret now. "Oh no he didn't do anything to me. You know that i got allergies and they were just starting to get to me." he said in a very convencing voice as he just continued to smile at Travis, yawning a little bit before he looked around once more before his face went back to it's normal calm. "Lavi headed off towards bed.....he has been really tired lately." he said to travis to take his mind off the fact that he had been crying some and that Shadow had comforted him and hide hiim from the sight of others as he got him self compossed once more.

Travis tilted his head. He still looked doubtful. It was rare when the allergies got to Ric, and it wasn't spring yet. "Well.. Okay then." he muttered before he smiled. "Shall we get some food then? or would you rather get to bed?" he asked as he started to walk, looking back to make sure Ric was following. It wasn't Too often when Ric and Travis were left alone nowadays, so it was something. His expression turned to worry as he frowned. "I hope the curse isn't getting worse.."he said, his tone slightly sad, but concerned.

"If it was you know iwould be the first to know and that i would tell you right away." Ric said to him like he normally, no worried could be found in his voice as he skillfully lied to Travis, following after him. He didn't like lying to his friends but there were just somethings that he just could not tell them for thier own sake, that is the only reason he became so good at lying it was hard to tell what was the truth and what was the lie now. "I should actually go check on Lavi to make sure he didn't fall a sleep in the hallway again......after all we don't need Peeves to do what he did last time to him." he said as he chuckled, poor Lavi was floating up side down way above the changing stair cases, which wasn't a good thing since his hat had came off.
