Misaki had fallen asleep on the couch. He awoke when he heard Usagi coming down the stairs. When the brunette remembered that he had read one of his books, his face turned slightly red. He would need to ask him about it, but he couldn't seem to find the words that would ask the question. How did you ask about that anyway?! It was making him confused.

Usami didn't even notice that Misaki was laying down on the couch since he was busy making breakfast. He heard some movement though from the couch and looked up to see the brunette looking around. "Good morning," said Usami as he looked at Misaki. "I am making eggs and miso soup if you're hungry."

Misaki looked at Usagi, a little surprised to hear he was making breakfast. He had thought that he would be making all the meals. He nodded to what he said, stood, and stretched. "Yeah. That sounds good." he said, going into the kitchen.

Usami nodded as he looked at the food that he was cooking in front of him. The eggs were going to be done any minute and so was the soup as well. He decided that he would make some rice as well. Usami really liked white sticky rice in the morning. Heck, he liked it at any of his meals during the day or night. Glancing at the food again he saw that it was just about to be done. "Misaki," said Usami as he got some plates out of the cabinet. "It's time to eat."

Misaki waited patiently for Usagi to finish cooking. He didn't like just sitting around doing nothing. He perked up when he heard it was time to eat. He helped serve the food before taking his plate to the table. He took his seat before the brunette started eating silently, still trying to think of how to ask Usagi about his novel.

Usami looked at Misaki as he sat down and he went over to the table as well and began eating his food. The food wasn't that bad given the fact that he had only been cooking for a short time. He ate the food quietly as he looked at the brunette wondering why he looked so troubled by something, but he didn't know how to bring it up.

Once Misaki was done eating, he looked at Usami. ".. Um.. Usagi-san... Can I ask you something?" he asked. He could think of no better way to ask about it. ".. What kind of novels do you write?" the brunette asked, already knowing the answer. He just needed to be sure about it before he asked what it was he really wanted to know.

Usami kept eating but then stopped as he looked at the brunette in front of him. What was he talking about? What kinds of books did he write? He wrote all kinds of things. Usami swallowed the bite of rice that he was eating as he looked at him and smiled before saying,"I write all kinds of things. Novels, biographies, and fiction. I mostly write fiction though. Why do you ask?"

Misaki was silent for a moment, thinking. "Because... I wanted to know why you were using my brother in your novels." the brunette stated. Or, to be more specific, he was talking about those BL novels. He was sure that Takahiro wouldn't like being used like that in Usagi's stories. He knew he himself wouldn't be happy about it.

Usami listened to what the brunette in front of him was saying as he practically choked on his bite of food. "What is he talking about?!" thought Usami as he tried to steady his breathing. "Why would he be talking about his----OH NO! How could I have been so stupid as to have given him a book like that." Usami stood up from the table and then quickly left clearly not wanting to talk about this right now.

Misaki was a bit surprised when Usagi just got up and left like that. It definitely made him seem like he was hiding something. The brunette wasn't happy with him just walking away when he was asked something. He stood and followed after him. He was going to get an answer to his question. One way or another.

Usami continued to walk up the stairs as he turned around suddenly to see Misaki coming up the stairs after him. He panicked, which was something that he rarely did, as he went dashing towards his study as he shut and locked the door behind him. He didn't want to talk to the brunette about this particular subject now, at least not yet.

Misaki stopped when he heard Usagi's door lock. There was no point in trying to get through there now. But he wasn't going to let the older man avoid this forever. For now, though, the brunette needed to leave. He was going to be late. So he gathered up his stuff, slipped on his shoes and left without saying goodbye. He ran to the train station so that he wouldn't be late for school.

Once the door was closed and locked behind him he went to go and sit down on the couch that was in his study. He heard the door close from downstairs and he knew that he was alone in the house. He should have felt happy that the brunette was gone, since now he could avoid talking about something like this, but he only felt sad now. He mentally slapped himself for feeling sad, he should not be feeling that. After a few moments after he heard the door open and close from downstairs he opened the door to his study and poked his head out from behind the door. Once he was completely sure that he was in the condo by himself he relaxed a little as he went to go and sit at his desk again to finish writing something as he contemplated how he would talk to Misaki about this. He knew that he needed to talk to the brunette about this, and by avoiding it it would only make things worse.

Misaki made it to school on time. But he couldn't focus on his classes. He was still hurt that Usagi had avoided his questions. All he had to do was be honest. But then again, the brunette was already made at him for doing that and nothing he said was going to make it better. When class ended, the brunette headed home and went inside. He didn't say anything to Usagi. Just took his shoes off and went up to his room. He wasn't going to talk to him just yet.

Usami listened as the he heard the door open as he heard Misaki come into the condo as he heard the other male take his shoes off. Usami stood up from where he was sitting as he went to go and close his study door. He was most certainly not ready to talk to the brunette about what they had talked about earlier that morning. He needed to figure out what was going on, and how to fix it.

Misaki ate an apple quickly before going up to his room. He had homework to do. And it was something that would distract him from Usagi. Though it didn't take to long for him to get through. So, once he was done, he went back downstairs and got started making dinner. No matter how mad he was, he had said he would make dinner every night. So he would.

Usami tried to ignore the brunette coming up the stairs as he tried to busy himself with working on more of his non-BL novels. He had a few that missed their deadlines so he had to finish those rather quickly. After about an hour he let out a sigh as he went to go and massage his brow. He wasn't making any form of progress at all. Saving his word document, he closed his computer, and got out of his chair. He walked to his door and opened the door to see Misaki making dinner. He smiled at that. He let out another sigh as he decided that tonight was the night that he was going to tell the brunette that he was in love with him.

Misaki made chicken stir-fry for dinner. He hoped that was ok. He served the meal before going to go Usagi. The only thing he said to him was that the food was ready. Then he turned and went back downstairs and took his seat. The brunette began eating, not waiting for the older man. He wanted to be done as soon as possible so that he could spend as little time that he could with him.

Usami walked over and sat down as he noted that the brunette started eating beforehand. Heck, he didn't blame Misaki for wanting nothing to do with him. He began to eat slowly, but then looked up at the brunette and said,"Misaki, we need to talk." He let out a sigh before continuing by saying,"Well I need to talk to you if you don't want to say anything."

Misaki didn't look up when he heard Usagi start to speak. "If your going to talk, then talk. If not, then don't." he stated, keeping his eyes on the table. That was all he was going to say to the older man. No matter what was said. The brunette was still mad.

Usami was a little taken a back by the tone that the brunette in front of him had, but he wasn't really angry at Misaki for having a tone like that. "Fine I will then," said Usami as he thought about how he was going to go and say this to him. "Misaki, God. I don't know how to say this so I am just going to come right out and say it. I love you." There it was right out in the open now. Now the brunette knew about it. He waited to hear what the brunette was going to say to him. Part of him wanting to know and the other part of him dreading it.

Misaki was shocked to hear that. His eyes looked at Usagi. "Your lying. You don't love me. You love Takahiro. There is no way your over him already." he stated. He grabbed his plate and put it in the kitchen. He wasn't hungry anymore. Besides. He was sure he wouldn't be able to eat anyway. So he put it in the fridge so he could eat it later. Then he got started on the dishes.

Usami glared at the brunette in front of him as he saw the other male go back into the kitchen. Getting up himself he placed his own plate on the counter and then looked at the brunette. "How do you know that?" he paused as he glared at the brunette again as he approached him. Reaching out he grabbed the other male by the collar of his shirt and pushed him against the counter of the table. "I saw your brother, and yes, I did love him, but that stopped when he got engaged. I love you now because you saw right through my facade when we were outside that night when it was snowing." Leaning forward he kissed the brunette on the lips not carrying much if the other male struggled. This was how he felt, and he had to get it out.

Misaki was surprised when Usagi suddenly pushed him against the counter. And was even more surprised when the older man kissed him. The brunette froze for a moment. No matter what the other said, he didn't believe it. There was no way he was over his brother already. He moved his hand against Usagi's chest and pushed. "Get away from me!" he exclaimed, needing him to back up.
