Usami felt the brunette's hand against his chest and part of him wanted to get away from Misaki. Yet, the other part of him wanted to keep doing this. If he stopped doing what he was doing then it would just be like every other time before that. A failure. He wanted the brunette to know how much Usami cared for him. He pushed the hand away and leaned down, harder this time, onto the brunette's chest as he deepened the kiss. Breaking away from the brunette he looked down at him and said,"No, this is what I wanted to tell you. I want to be with you Misaki. Not your brother."

{{The weirdest thing just happened. All the lights flickered off for a moment for no reason at all.}}

Misaki froze when Usagi didn't back away when he tried to push him away. His face was red by the time the older man pulled away. One reason was from the lack of oxygen. The other was from embarrassment. The brunette shook his head. "No you don't. Your just trying to replace him. And I will not be a replacement!" he exclaimed, managing to push past him and ran up to his room.

Usami sighed as he looked at the brunette in front of him. "Why won't you believe me? I told you the truth." He paused. "You know what I did tell you, and it your decision if you want to believe me or not." Usami was a little surprised as that Misaki managed to push him off of himself. "Misaki, wait!" yelled Usami as he went chasing after Misaki. He stopped though figuring that the brunette needed some alone time to figure out his emotions.

Misaki got up to his room and slammed the door shut behind him, locking it. The brunette couldn't believe that just happened. He knew that there was no way that Usagi could be over Takahiro already. It just wasn't possible. Which just made this entire thing hurt more. He hated being used and that is what he felt like the older man was doing. Groaning, the boy went and took a seat on the bed.

Usami made it the rest of the way up the stairs and went to the door. Trying to open it, he found it locked. "Misaki," he said from the other side of the locked door. "I am so sorry. I didn't want you to figure out this way. Please come and talk to me." What else was he supposed to do? Kick the door down and make things worse? Cry like a little kid? "I will be downstairs when you are ready to talk."

Misaki looked at the door when he heard Usagi speak. He wasn't ready to talk about it. Not yet, at least. Though he did come out a little while later. He had class today and couldn't be late. And the brunette wasn't going to ask for a ride. It really wouldn't take to long for him to get to his school. He ignored the older man as he went to pull his shoes on.

Usami was sitting down in the main living part of the condo as he watched the T.V. in front of him. Glancing up he noticed that the brunette was going back out as he was getting his shoes on. He wanted to approach the brunette, but decided that he wouldn't since he figured that Misaki still needed some time to himself to think. He figured that Misaki was going to class, and he just hoped that he would be able to focus on his studies in class. He decided that he would go and call his brother, Takahiro, as soon as the brunette left the condo.

Misaki said nothing to Usagi as he left. He didn't have anything to say to him. He went to class for a few hours before returning. The brunette didn't have anything else to do today, so he had no reason not to return. No matter how hard it was for him to face Usagi. He still felt awkward about the older man's confession. If it was really that.

Looking at the phone in his hand he dialed the numbers as if by memory. He waited on the other end as he heard a dial tone. It went a few more times and then he heard Misaki's brothers voice. He started talking adamantly to it, only to figure out that it was Takahiro's voicemail recording. Letting out a sigh he waited until he heard the beep before he said," Takahiro, it's Usami. I don't know how to explain this, but I am pretty sure that I did and said something wrong." He let out another sigh as he sat down in the nearby couch. "I- just call me back when you get this. It's important."

Misaki was only gone for a few hours. He returned and dropped his bag by the couch before taking a seat. Leaning back, the brunette closed his eyes. He was exhausted, but the day wasn't even over yet. He had homework he needed to do and dinner he needed to make. He just couldn't bring himself to get up to go do it.

Putting the phone back in its holder he let out a sigh as he went back upstairs to go into his study to finish more of his books. He needed to finish more of his one book, his non-BL book as he opened up his laptop and began typing. He was completely unaware that the time had flown by, until he heard the door open and Misaki come in. Saving the work that he had done, he closed his laptop and debated on whether or not he was going to go down the stairs and approach the brunette downstairs.

Misaki eventually made himself to get up to start on dinner. He was sure that Usagi would be hungry. And even though the brunette was still mad at him, he wasn't going to let him starve. So, he started cutting up some vegetables to make stir-fry. It was something that would be quick to make. Which meant he could get started on his homework faster.

Usami heard the brunette begin making something downstairs and soon the smell of cooking vegetables and oil could be smelled throughout the entire condo. His hunger got the best of him and he got up from his chair and began making his way down the stairs towards the kitchen. Glancing over he saw the brunette making something in the kitchen as he sat down on the couch and began looking at a magazine, not really wanting to talk to the brunette yet.

Misaki glanced up when Usagi came downstairs. But the brunette didn't say anything. He didn't have anything to say. While the vegetables were cooking, he made some white rice and chopped up some chicken. He added that to the stir-fry. He also made some tea. Not to long later, it was all done. He served them both up before placing it on the table and looked at Usagi. "Food's done." he told him before sitting down.

Glancing up from the couch he looked at the brunette and walked over to the dinner table where he sat down and waited to be served his food. There was so much on his mind. So much that he wanted to say to the brunette that he professed to love. So very, very much. "Misaki," he said as he looked at the brunette. "I know you are mad at me, but please talk to me about this."

Misaki placed Usagi's plate in front of him before taking a seat. He didn't look at him while he was doing so, but he did when the other spoke. "If your going to talk, go ahead." the brunette stated as he began eating.

Usami reached forward and grabbed his glass of water. Taking a quick sip he looked at the brunette and said,"I don't really know where to start. I do have one question though. Why? What is so wrong about me liking you? I don't want to say it's like an honor, but what is so wrong that someone loves and admires you?"

"Because we're both guys. So that's weird. And its impossible for you to get over Takahiro so quickly. Misaki stated. He kept his eyes on the table, not wanting to face Usagi. This conversation was awkward enough without looking at him. So he wasn't going to.

Usami sighed, clearly Misaki wasn't understanding anything that he had just said. "Alright," said Usami. "Clearly you don't believe me, what can I say or do to make you believe me?" Usami was getting desperate at this point in time. He was willing to do anything.

Misaki shook his head slightly. "There isn't anything you can do to make me believe that you care when you don't. I think it would be best if I just found my own apartment. It would be better for us both." the brunette stated.

Usami could see that this conversation was taking a turn for the worst. He decided that he would play something that he himself didn't feel very honorable in playing. He was going to play the "Takahiro card." "I don't think you can do that. What would Takahiro say? He is on his honeymoon still. He has a job. Besides, do you have the money to pay the rent for the apartment?"

Misaki instantly felt bad when Usagi mentioned Takahiro. Why did he have to do that?! "I could get a job. I don't want to be a bother to my brother... Or you." the brunette stated. He quickly finished eating and went into the kitchen area and began cleaning up his mess.

Usami listened to the brunette as he heard the other male prattle off things that he could do to make it easier on the two of them. The two of them being himself and his older, married brother. Letting out a sigh he finished the rest of his meal and then went over and deposited his dishes in the sink. Hugging Misaki from behind he turned him around and kissed him directly on the lips. Breaking away from him he said,"You were never a burden to me, and you never will be. I like taking care of you. I like worrying about you. So let me love you."

Misaki wasn't expecting Usagi to hug him suddenly. Or to kiss him. He froze as his face turned red. His eyes dropped to the ground, completely embarrassed. "I don't understand why you would love me." the brunette stated. There wasn't really anything about him that Usagi should love. He wasn't very interesting. How could he be when he couldn't even get any friends at school.

Usami let out another sigh as he went to go and lean against the counter top, facing away from Misaki. "Do you remember when your brother had his birthday, and he introduced your fiancée to me and to you? Do you remember how you reacted and what you said to me when we were outside and it was snowing? That is why I love you," said Usami.
