Usami was overjoyed when he heard Misaki say that he could come with him to the grocery store. He had never really been in a grocery store before. The maids did most of the shopping, and he only went to convenient stores to get cigarettes, so he actually had never been in a real grocery store. "Alright," he said as he smiled and nodded at the brunette. "We are all checked out. Now let's go to the souvenir store so I can get something for the both of us to commemorate our time here." Usami walked passed Misaki and into the souvenir store as he began walking down the aisles looking at all of the merchandise.

Misaki smiled lightly and nodded. He didn't really want to go into the souviner store just to see all the things he can't afford, but Usagi was wanting to do this. So he followed after the older man quietly. He scanned the aisles idly, being sure to keep his attention away from the price. He didn't want to know how much these things cost otherwise they would just make him want to turn around and leave. ".. See anything you like?"

Usami continued to walk down the various aisles as he looked at all of the various knick knacks that were there. "I do actually," said Usami as he picked up a snow globe. "Besides, bears I also like to collect snow globes." He looked at it a little more before decided that he really did want to buy this for his collection. Usami then turned to the brunette and smiled as he said," Misaki, do you see anything that you like?"

Misaki was surprised that Usagi didn't want to buy another bear for his huge collection. He had already been going through his mind on where he could put it when he heard something about snow globes. It was nice to have more than one type of collection and a small smile formed on the brunette's face. "No. Not really." he said. He wasn't really big on getting souvenirs for himself. But if someone had given him one, then he couldn't bring himself to reject the gift.

Usami furrowed his brow a little bit. He knew that the conversation with Misaki's brother, Takahiro, had been true. The brunette wanted to be independent, and he didn't want to depend on the people around him. However, he wanted the brunette to remember fondly of the time that they had shared here. Be that as it may it was a little bumpy along the way because his father intervened, but for the most part they had an enjoyable time. He decided that he would buy something. "Misaki, if I got you something, what would you like?"

Misaki was quiet for a moment. He really didn't want Usagi to buy him anything. But he couldn't very well refuse the offer if he had been presented with a gift, could he? That would be rude. "Well... Of course I would." he said, not even sure himself whether or not he would like the gift. He was sure he would, just as long it wasn't anything that would embarrass him sometime in the future. "But you really don't have to get me anything."

Usami smiled at the brunette and said,"I know that I don't have to, but I want to make this a special time that we spent with each other. What would you like for me to get you?" Usami felt rather foolish for asking this question, but to be completely honest he didn't know the first thing that the brunette liked, save for penguins and strawberries.

Misaki sighed, knowing that he ws going to lose this argument. He looked back at the items on the shelves and started looking for something cheap. He didn't like people spending money on him, so he wanted to find something that didn't cost a lot. "This looks nice." he said, holding up a stuffed bear that appeared to be holding a giant strawberry.

Usami smiled as the brunette sighed. He knew that the other male would let him get his way because he was just that kind of person, but he felt a little bad as well because he felt like he was forcing the brunette into doing something that he didn't want to do. Usami looked at the brunette when he heard him say that he had found something that he liked. It was a teddy bear holding a strawberry. "Alright," said Usami as he took the bear from Misaki and went to the counter and paid for his snow globe and Misaki's bear. Getting back his change he walked out of the souvenir store and waited for the brunette.

Misaki watched as Usagi went to pay for the souviners, even though he really didn't want the gift. Once the older man had left the store, the brunette turned and followed quietly. He put a smile on his face as he took one last look around before his attention landed on Usagi. "Ready to go?" he asked.

Usami watched as the brunette walked out of the souvenir store and into the hallway again near the entrance. He nodded when he heard the other male ask if he was ready to go. "Yes we are ready to go. Here," said Usami as he handed the bear holding the strawberry over to Misaki. "I guess it's kind of awkward to say since you saw me buy it, but I got this for you." A slight blush painted its way over his cheeks as he looked towards the ground. Why was it that he always had butterflies in his stomach when he was with the other?

Misaki smiled lightly when the bear was handed to him. "Thank you Usagi-san. It's a very nice gift." he said. His mind went back to his room and where he could put the souviner, and he decided that the best place for it would probably be on his bedside table. Sure, he could put it in the closet. But that would be rude, seeing as how he lived with the older man. Besides, it wasn't that bad to recieve something. And it was actually kind of cute. So he wouldn't mind keeping it out in the open.

Usami smiled when he heard the brunette say thank you for the bear that he had bought for him. He was glad that he could do something for the other male that made him happy. Taking Misaki by the hand he led him to the car. "I am glad that you like it," he said as he slipped into the driver's side and turned the car on waiting for the brunette to get in. He looked at his watch. They still had a little ways to go, but they would be home way before sundown.

Misaki was about to pull his hand away from Usagi's grip, but decided against it. It was a short walk anyway, so he didn't think it would be that big of deal. Once back at the car, the brunette slipped into the passenger side after putting his bag in the back along with the bear. He wondered idly how long it would take to get back, but decided not to ask. He'll find out soon enough. When they got back though, he wanted to call Sumi to see if they could hang out sometime the next day. Of course, he'd have to wait until he was in a different room than Usagi.

((I forgot did you play as Sumi or did I? I don't remember, did Misaki have any interaction with Sumi in this RP anyway?))

Usami started the car as he saw that Misaki was buckled in the seat next to him. Getting on the freeway again he began the long drive back to their condo. As the two of them drove the silence in the car began to get stifling. Clearing his throat a little he looked at the brunette and said,"So did you get all of your homework done for school tomorrow?" He knew that it was a weird question to ask something like this, but he wanted to break the silence.

((I do believe you played as Sumi. And yeah. They already hung out after school and during classes.))

Misaki had been glancing out the window as they drove, taking in the sight of the different scenery. He blinked twice to snap himself out of the daze that he was going into when Usagi spoke. "I only have a small bit left." he admitted. He knew that he probably could have gotten it done while they were at the hot spring, but he just couldn't have brought himself to do it while they were there. "I can probably get it done in about 10 minutes though, so it's not a big deal."

((Alright, I do remember now, it's just been a while. Go to bed young lady :P))

Usami nodded as he continued to drive. He was glad that the other male was doing well in his classes. He had pulled some strings to get him on the wait list for the school, and he was passing all of his classes so far with flying colors. He was glad that the other wasn't falling behind either. Looking at the signs he saw that they were getting closer to home. "We can stop at the grocery store before we head home alright?" said Usami as he got off of the freeway, and onto one of the less busy streets. Taking a few turns, they found themselves in front of a rather large grocery store. This store was about 10 minutes away from the condo. "Well we are here," said Usami as he got out of the car. He was rather excited to go into one of these since he had never been in one before. He had lived a rather sheltered life.

((No!!.... -pout- Fine. Only because I was about to go anyway.))

Misaki smiled lightly and nodded. It really was a good idea to get to the store now, even though he would have preferred to wait. He wasn't completely sure what they had back at the condo, but he figured that it really wouldn't matter if they had a little extra of something. Once they were in front of the store, he unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car. The brunette pushed a few strands of hair out of his eyes before he looked over at Usagi. "What all do you think we should get?" he asked, not wanting to get something the older man didn't like.

((Alright. I promise that I'll answer the other rps when I wake up. I just wasn't much in an answering mood today. So I apologize now for the delay in the other rps.))

Usami thought for a moment when he heard the other male talk. He did say that he wanted the other to make something light to eat, and he was pretty sure that they agreed to make some form of a stir-fry with white rice. "We could do something with chicken. That would be a little healthier than getting pork or beef. We can eat that with some peppers, and onions and other vegetables as well. How does that sound?" Usami stretched a little bit, clearly liking the fact that they were out of the car. He liked long car rides, but it left him feeling sore and hurting, especially in his back area.

Misaki thought for a moment before nodding. "Alright. That sounds good to me." he said, smiling lightly. He knew how to make a variety of foods with chicken in them, so this should be easy enough. Plus Usagi did say peppers... Maybe the brunette could get some green peppers in the food without the older man finding out. After all, Usagi didn't really like them. But they were healthy, so Misaki would try to get them in the meal.

Usami smiled as he took the brunette by the hand and walked into the grocery store. He had never been in one before, so as sad as it sounded this was a new experience for him. Walking in through the automatic sliding doors he was hit by a blast of cold air and shivered a little bit as the temperature around them plummeted. He looked over and saw some carts, and he walked over and took one. "So where do we go first?" asked Usami since he wanted the brunette to lead them around because he didn't want to look like an idiot.

Misaki just about pulled his hand away from Usagi when it was grabbed, kind of embarrassed that someone he knew would see them. But it was only a few seconds before they were in the store and the brunette pulled his hand away. After all, it took two hands in order to control the cart completely and he didn't want it running into the shelves. "Well... We need vegetables and more rice..." Misaki said, thoughtful for a moment. "And we also need to get some chicken."

Usami felt the brunette pull against his hand a little bit and frowned slightly as they walked into the store. He figured that it probably had something to do with them being in a public area, and possibly being seen by a friend from school. He shrugged a little bit as he heard the brunette go through a list of what they needed to buy. As Misaki went down the list his stomach rumbled a little bit at the thought of eating another home cooked meal that Misaki made. "Alright," said Usami as he began walking towards the vegetable aisle.

A small smile formed on Misaki's face at the faint sound of Usagi's stomach making noise. He took that as a sign that he should hurry and get the things they need so that they could go back and he could make dinner. As they passed the items on the list, the brunette made sure to grab them and set them in the cart. It wasn't long until he had everything they needed and he turned to look at the older man. "I'm just about ready to pay. Is there anything else you might want while we're here?" he asked, wanting to be sure.

Usami continued to walk the cart around the grocery store as he saw Misaki drop ingredients into the cart there. He looked to make sure that Misaki had everything, and then he heard the other male ask him if he had everything or if he wanted to get anything more. He thought about it. He was running a little bit low on his cigarettes so he decided that he was going to get a pack or two and add it to the cart. "Yes, I want to get some more cigarettes," replied Usami as he pushed the cart into a line. He knew that it was a bad habit, but it was something that he didn't want to stop yet.
