Usami saw the look on the other's face, and he furrowed his brow a little bit. "Does he not want to come?" thought Usami as he continued to eat the rest of his rice. Finishing the rest of his rice he heard from the other male that he wanted to go with him to the Kikawa Award ceremony. Glancing over at Misaki he smiled and said,"I am glad that you want to go with me. Since this is a rather formal event do you have a suit or anything? If you don't we can go and purchase or rent one." Glancing at the rice in his bowl he knew that he wanted more. "Misaki, I was wondering if you could get me some more rice." He simply loved the other male's cooking.

Misaki was silent for a second. He wasn't a big fan of wearing suits, but he figured that he could put up with it for one evening. But he didn't exactly own a suit and he didn't want to bother Usagi in getting him one. The brunette bit his lip lightly for a moment before shaking his head. "No.. I don't have a suit... But I can see if I could borrow one from one of my friends." he said. He would have just borrowed one of Takahiro's old ones, but he didn't want to be a bother to his brother. Besides, he had a friend who was roughly around the same size of him and Misaki knew that he owned a suit. He smiled lightly and nodded when he heard Usagi's request and he stood up immediately and took the bowl into the kitchen to serve up some more rice.

Usami nodded, satisfied with the other's answer.Sure, he had wanted to go and pick a suit with the other male, but he also knew that his attention would be with Aikawa-san for the rest of the week so that everything could be prepared so that the event would go off without a hitch. He sighed when he thought of that, that meant that he would might not be home early, which meant that he wouldn't be able to eat dinner with the other male. He loved the time that he had with the other male, and wouldn't give it up for the world.

Misaki set a full bowl of rice in front of Usagi before sitting back down in his own seat. He was quiet for a moment, thoughts racing for the upcoming week. He knew that he wanted to get the older man a gift to congratulate him, but what could he get? There were many things that would be appropriate, but there was no way the brunet would be able to afford them. Misaki resisted the urge to sigh as he lifted his gaze to look at the man in front of him. "Usagi-san... What would you like for a gift?" he asked, figuring this would be the best way to figure out what to buy.

Usami smiled at the brunette when he saw the other male get up, take his rice bowl, and then return mere moments later with more rice for him. There was nothing like the fresh cooked taste of white rice. He listened though as he heard the other male ask him what he wanted. He thought for a moment. Sure, there were lots of things that he wanted. He also knew of some things that the other would not give or get him. He wanted Misaki for one night. He knew that he would refuse though. "I really don't want anything," said Usami. "Just knowing that you are proud of me is enough for me. Not to mention that you are going to be spending time with me at the awards ceremony."

Misaki frowned lightly for half-a-second as he went back to eating. Was it so hard just to pick something that he wanted? The brunette knew that he was still going to get Usagi something, even if the older man didn't want anything. But what to get? He still had time to figure it out, so he pushed the thought to the back of his mind. "Alright.. If you say so... But if you change you're mind about wanting something, just let me know."

Usami looked at the other male and frowned a little bit when he saw the other frown a little bit. He then smiled though when he thought about how he could get the other male to give him exactly what he wanted. He smiled again though as he heard the other male say that he still wanted to get him something, and that all he had to do was ask for it. "I will think about what you said," replied Usami as he pretended to think of something that he wanted. He wanted to just tell the brunette that he wanted him here and now, but he decided that he would have to coax the other male into it.

Misaki smiled lightly and nodded as he turned his attention back to his food. "Alright." he said. He was glad that Usagi was going to at least think about what it was that he wanted. He just hoped that whatever the older man chose, that it would be within his price range. He took the last few bites of his meal before turning his attention to the man in front of him. "Is there anything else I can get you before I get started on the dishes?" he asked, wanting to make sure before he stood up.

Usami hummed to himself as he began thinking of a few ways of getting what he wanted from Misaki. He knew that the other male was probably thinking about making sure that whatever he was getting was within his price range, but what Usami wanted was utterly free. What he wanted was one passionate night with Misaki. He continued to wonder how he would get the other to do this when he heard the other ask him if he wanted anything else. Turning to Misaki he smiled at him, almost saying that he wanted him, but then he decided against it, opting instead to just say,"No, I do not need anything else. The meal was delicious." He wanted to make a quick getaway so he could plot some more so then he added," I have some work to do so I am going to go to my study. If you need anything please get me, if not please do not disturb me." Usami got up from the table, made his way up the stairs to the study door, walked into the room, and then closed the door with a soft click.

Misaki smiled lightly and nodded before gathering up the dirty dishes from the table to bring them into the kitchen. He paused though when he heard Usagi say that he didn't want to be disturbed and he nodded again. "Alright. I'll be quiet." he said as he headed into the kitchen. The last thing the brunette wanted to do was disrupt the older man while he was working. He filled the sink with water and got started washing the dishes quietly. He let his mind drift though to different things to buy the older man as a gift, and when that started to frustrate him, he changed to the leftover homework he had to do. Misaki sighed as he finished the last dish and dried his hands off. He grabbed his bag from the floor and flipped some lights off as he headed upstairs to his room. He was going to get his homework done and then tell Usagi that he was going to bed... If the older man was still awake when that time came.

Usami, once in the study, sat down in front of his computer. Opening another word document he began to type another BL. He stopped though as he leaned back in the chair that he was sitting. He re-read what he had typed, and then immediately scrapped what he was writing. It sounded fake and artificial. How could he write this drivel, and make his characters fall in love and stay in love, when he couldn't even make it happen in his own dismal life? That made him feel even more depressed, and he closed his laptop. Opening to the door in the study he wondered what the other male was doing so he walked to Misaki's room and knocked on the door gently.

Misaki ran his hand through his hair for the fifth time since entering his room as he stared at his homework. It's no wonder he hasn't done it yet. None of it seemed to be making any sense! It looked like he was just going to have to ask Sumi for some help with it before school tomorrow. He jumped though when he heard the knock at his door, not expecting the sudden noise. The brunette took a moment to calm his suddenly racing heart before standing and making his way over to the door and opening it. "Usagi-san? Can I help you with something?" he asked, wondering idly if something was wrong.

Usami waited for the door to open before he looked at the other male and smiled. "I was just seeing how you were doing on your homework. Did you need any help with anything?" asked Usami as he looked at the other male. "I mean it just sounded like you needed some help." He knew that that was an utter lie, but he just wanted to spend more time with the other male.

Misaki frowned for a second. He wasn't aware that he was making any noise except small sounds... Was he really being loud? "I'm sorry if I was distracting you from your work." the brunette said, quickly apologizing. He was quiet for a second. He really didn't want to be a bother to the older man, but he did need some help with his work. ".... I don't mind if you want to help.. Just as long as you're not busy with your work."

Usami looked at the other male as he smiled and said,"No, it's no trouble at all." He had almost said to the other male that he actually wasn't doing anything to help his job. Coming into the room he stood above the other male as he then took the paper and book that the other was using. Glancing over it he looked at the other male and smiled. "I am pretty sure I remember how to do this. You take the formula here, then place it here, and then you work from there," said Usami. Taking a seat on the bed he gave the book back to Misaki.

Misaki was still a bit hesitant in letting Usagi help him with his homework. He would prefer for the older man to get back on his own work, but he didn't get the chance to complain about it more. He went over to his bed and sat down, listening to Usagi explain what it was that he needed to do. He nodded thoughtfully and smiled lightly. "That makes sense.." Misaki said, glancing down at his last few problems. "Thanks Usagi-san."

Usami looked at the other male and smiled as he said," I am glad that I am able to help you." He knew that he had to get back to his own work, especially since he needed to work on the speech that he would be saying at the awards ceremony, but he had so much time to work on it when the other wasn't around. Sitting on the bed next to the other male he looked at him again and smiled wondering if he should start putting his idea into motion. He decided that he would wait a little longer. Getting off of the bed he walked back towards the door. "Well I am going back to my own work. If you need anything I'll be in my study," said Usami as he walked back into the hallway towards his study.

Misaki smiled lightly and nodded as he got started again on his work. Since Usagi explained it, it actually did seem a lot easier now than it was 10 minutes ago. The brunette flickered his gaze to the older man for a moment when said older man stood and nodded. "Alright. I will." he said, dropping his attention back down to his work in front of him. It took him about 20 minutes to get the work done and he happily put it away. Misaki ran a hand through his hair before changing into some pajamas and heading out into the hall. He wondered idly if Usagi was still awake and headed to the older man's office. He paused outside the door before knocking quietly, wanting to say goodnight, but he wasn't completely sure if Usagi was even in the room.

Usami, once he was in the room, closed the door behind him. Nothing was coming to him when he looked at his laptop. His muses were gone for the time being, yet the idea of what he wanted from Misaki was ever bubbling in his mind. Shaking his head he opened his laptop and began typing a short one shot between himself and the other male. It wasn't anything elaborate, and there wasn't anything over the top. It could be described as smut if anything else. Turning his head as he heard the knock on the door he hastily deleted what he had written and said,"Come in." He knew that it was the brunette, probably seeing if he was actually doing his work, but anytime that he shared with Misaki was always welcome.

Misaki paused for a moment before entering the room slowly, not sure if he was disturbing Usagi from his work. He stood just inside the room, ready to back out in a moment's notice. "Sorry if I'm bothering you, Usagi-san... But I just wanted to come in and say goodnight." he said, his voice uncertain. He really didn't want to be bothering the older man in case he was working, but he would have felt rude if he hadn't said anything before he just went to sleep.

Usami looked over at the other male and smiled at him as he stood up. "No," said Usami. "I am not busy at all." He knew that that was a lie, but he knew that he would get the work done later on that night. Walking over to the other male he said,"Heading to bed already? Do you have early classes in the morning?" asked Usami. By this time he was in front of the other male. "Well if you're going to go to bed then I need to do this," said the other male as he leaned down and took the other's chin in his hand and bent to kiss the other male on the lips.

Misaki nodded his head when he heard Usagi's question. "Yeah. I have to get up earlier than normal tomorrow." he said. A brief moment of confusion crossed the brunette's face for half-a-second before his eyes widened when he was kissed. His face turned to a dark shade of red and his body froze. He didn't know if he should kiss Usagi back or not. But either way, he couldn't make his body move away.

Misaki's lips tasted of honey and something that was uniquely Misaki. He relished this taste, he couldn't get enough. He needed this as if his very life depended on it. Closing his eyes he moved his other hand so it was behind the other's neck as he moved their two bodies so that Misaki's back was facing a wall. Stepping forward he pushed the other into the wall a little bit. He was a little amazed at the fact that the other hadn't tried to push away from him. Push, yell out, or try to move away from the other male. At least this was some form of small progress for Usami. One small step for him to reach his final goal.

Misaki's brain finally kicked into action when he felt the wall against his back. But his reaction wasn't the one he was going for. Instead of pushing Usagi away like he wanted to, one hand reached up to grab the front of the older man's shirt, pulling him closer as the brunette slowly returned the kiss. Why was he kissing him back?! This was Takahiro's friend! This was supposed to be weird! Yet, there was something about it that just felt right and it was clouding up Misaki's judgment, but the brunette was finding it hard to care.

Usami opened his eyes as he felt the other male begin to tug at the front of his shirt. He hadn't really expecting this reaction from the other male, but by no means was it unpleasant. Since the two of them were doing so well he decided to take it to the next step. Nibbling on the other's bottom lip he wondered briefly if the other male would allow him access into his mouth. |
